"Well, i got sh*t on by a snapper, how's your day been?" Cracked up laughing at that. Great vid again. Massive Gurnard you got there, bet that was a tasty meal.
Ehh bro, gotta love a fumble lol, I'm a pro at fumbling. Those gurnards are some really cool looking fish aye. Glad the ocean gave up it's bounty in the end and allowed you some Kaimoana for the fridge. Keep on living the life bro vibe on always
Nice one Mat. Watching from all the way in South Africa. I dont know told you lies. But that paddle is upside down. Cup, lip is always at the top. Thats what gives you the power in your stoke. Keep the videos coming man. Tight lines.
brother that was me in the last video with the comment re the paddle. kayak guide for about 7 years, had to spin a few paddles back in the day. it's still upside down😅 😂. twist it over your head like a helicopter for 1/2 a turn. \------/ should look like this. if there's any text or logo on the paddle it should read upright. great vid as always, you rule.
so what your telling me is that it was the right way up in the beginning and now its upside down?! the logo was reading upright the first time i used it.... I'm very confused lol
@@NomadicKayakFishing no brother, i think you rotated it 360 degrees. it was upside down both times. might have to google the paddle from that manufacturer, or any paddle, the orientation is always the same on any paddle. scoop faces you, the tip of the paddle is up. tip^ \----|paddler|----/ ^tip
@@razbishara6491 brother it is not all that confusing. i can explain in two words; tip up. if your paddle is upside down you spin it over your head like a helicopter 1/2 a turn. the blade on your left becomes the blade on your right. /---\ this becomes this \---/. tip up. it goes from upside down to right side up. i know it's hard to trust a stranger on the internet re facts and credentials, so google any major manufacturer and see for yourself by checking the orientation of the logos. or do this; write your name near one tip of a pencil. rotate it 1/2 a turn. your name will be upside down. same concept. the tip of the paddle is on the top of the blade for efficiency. i'd explain why but then the post would really get long. TLDR: tip up google it brother.
Well done bro…living the dream right there!…Good on ya man!…Great Vlog…Make me hungry for FRESH FISH now!…I remember watching some of your earlier vlogs n forgot to subscribe but not this time…New Subby👏👌
Hey man 👋. Loved the video I'm trying some of your recipes with fresh water fish 😂. Works better with snapper. Wait on TH-cam to tell me if I'm monotized along with patreon. I can't get on the ocean now because of my spine so thanks for the videos it helps with homesickness.
Lol what a laugh,I'm a kapiti guy love fish, there a couple of kiwi fishing that can catch and really cook, but I'm afraid there are more that can't lol. This guys not too bad but he's been out of home since 15 and doing well I think, what's your work there if you don't mind me asking.
G'day Matt. Do a shout out to some Japanese knive makers or seller's that would send you sharp as he'll knives I no you have victrinox fileting knife. I've got 4 victrinox knives one fileting one and two Japanese knives for the kitchen best thing I ever did puts victrinox to shame mind my spelling not the best at that. Love you're videos if you're ever in nelson we've got a place to stay and we'll go for a fish I've got some great spots
cheers mate, i use a victory filleting knife (not victrinox).. victory knifes are NZ made and 10x better than victronox in my experience. That said i haven't tried a true Japanese kitchen knife, im quite happy with what i've got so dont see a need to ask for any more. will keep u in mind if i ever head down to nelson, love that place!
had the same issue with the camera not turning on properly. so frustrating wen it does that though i had worse experience with gopros. u worked bloody hard for ur dinner haha series of misfortunes

Hey mate. It has literally taken me this long to even understand how to respond. I really like ur young matured attitude. I’m genuine af. I’m not a person who knows how to do tech. But u genuinely want to help u. U cab can help me too. Everyone calls me gibbo. I know I sound like a weirdo. But I’m 100 percent not. I want to help. Regards gibbo
Nice fishing but you along with lots of other TH-cam fishers seem to think it is a great idea to show off your catch before you have got it under control for ones you intend keeping. But it is quite funny to see people wrestling with fish but really no need to show us the fish in detail quick look is good enough
Great video Matt love the talking crack cooking what you catch keep them coming 😅😅

Bellissimo
Shredded carrots and other salad in the mix with your sliced fish cakes in a wrap. F-N yum .
I add white-bait to my mince fish, Sometimes. Best white-bait burger filling ever.

What is brown and blue water?
The way you are using that paddle now is upside down
Are you using your paddles in reverse?
apparently so.. lol
where is that
Shallower round 14metres, fish your feet first..
Net????? I know they can be a pain in the arse to carry around….but?
yea nah not a fan of nets... they take up too much space in the van
