well done Nev, good to see a breath of fresh air on fishing vids, no swearing, no b.s., and you're not covered in tattoos. good lad and don't change. I'll send some money for patreon.
Where is this if you don’t mind ? Victoria? Are there crocs there? It’s so serene and full of life. My kind of place Australia is a bucket list place, but no idea where would be the best outdoor adventure that isn’t touristy. Thank you. ❤
@@sherrirowan5049G’day from Australia. Crocodiles are only in Northern Australia. The Northern Territory, northern Queensland and Western Australia have Crocodiles, none in the South. If there were Crocodiles where he was no one would be in the water.
Nothing like putting yourself to the test like that. It's such a cool way to connect to our natural environment and respect that it provides and sustains life giving food that doesn't come wrapped in plastic. Well done Nev on a great video mate.
I’m in the process of going through your back catalogue of videos as I’m a beginner squid fisherman. The difference in production quaintly is impressive. Content always great 👌🏻 you’ve grown up a fair bit since video 1 😀
Absolutely loved that video Nev. one of your best. Felt like I was right there with you. You are truly inspiring Nev not only to the young people but also to old farts like me that still dream of catching a feed. Please keep these great videos coming. Thanks so much for sharing 👍
Great videos mate, missus and i only just started watching and we bloody love it. you do such a great job of catch release, knowing your limits and take us all as viewers for a ride like we are all there with ya. Keep up all the good work, stay safe out there and happy fishin :) cheers, ben queensland
Great work, Nev. As others have said your level of production has really stepped up a bunch of notches, however the preproduction planning is what's making your videos look so polished. Top work, mate!
Excellent video Nev! Very peaceful to watch and gives me even more motivation to keep learning so that I can tackle something similar in the future. Love this style of video, would love to see more in the future! Thanks for the great content mate
This is a beautifully done video Nev. the sounds are as rewarding as the video visuals you have taken. Thanks so much for all of your hard work here in editing too. ❤ much love from the States.
Great stuff again Nev ! Have you considered approaching one of the TV channels to help you produce a series of kayak fishing adventures across Australia? Here are a few suggested kayak fishing locations: Trout in Tasmanian lakes; King George Whiting near Smithton in Tasmania; Tuna near Bermagui; Black Marlin in Jervis Bay, NSW; Bass in northern NSW and southern Qld dams; Mixed bag in Gold Coast canals and lakes; Saratoga in Lake Borumba and Dawson River in Qld; Barramundi in dams of central and northern Qld; Kingfish near Port Augusta and Coffin Bay in SA; Mixed bag at the Abrolhos Islands in WA; Mixed bag in Exmouth Gulf and the Mackeral Islands in WA. I think a TV or TH-cam kayak fishing series filmed at freshwater and saltwater locations across Australia would be very popular.
lakes entrance is one of the best places ive gone for fishing trips, ive fished lake tyers many times and caught plenty of flatties and bream including a 42cm bream
On the right side of the long Jetty go in about up to your knees and flick soft plastic grubz 2.5", plenty of nice size flat heads, also can pump yabbies in that same area believe it or not but best to have a floating sieve 👍
Good on you Nev for taking the trip head on. When possible variety is the key to success in living off the land or water. May i be so bold to make a few suggestions, take an esky, butter as well as oil for cooking. Herbs and spices will help with variety also. The most important thing is that 99% of fish are delicious when cooked fresh. Don’t throw any back until you’ve finished fishing for the day. A keeper net will help with this. That’s just from an older fella that has done this before. I’m so jealous that I can’t do it anymore. You’re a great TH-camr Nev, very enjoyable. 👍🏻
LAKE TYRES!!!!!! awesome video, nice fish, well done! question time: will you ever do a snapper on soft plastics video in Port Phillip Bay? maybe this season?? kayak???
Did pretty much the same thing in marlo, slept in the wagon, and fished all day worked hard for a few fish but had to have a few banannas throughout! Great stuff man!
Awesome vid Nev, In WA we net mullet in our estuary systems and along the beaches for eating and i would definitely recommend giving them a go in the pan. Great to see how much attention your vids get mate. They deserve it!
Nev, you should make the trip up to Merimbula/Tathra region sometime soon! Would love to see you fish some local spots around there. Keep up the great videos mate!
Mill point at the start ? Definitely looks and sounds like it, such a beautiful place to experience we went last year in autumn foggy mornings with the cockatoos singing and the mullet jumping, so surreal
Great video again mate.I'm currently in Germany for a holiday. Fishing restrictions are so tough over here and you have to pay to fish daily so I can't wait to go back home to Geelong and enjoy what we have to offer at home. Tyers was a bit tough 3 weeks ago when I was there but found a lot of flathead which was great.
Hi Nev, I'm roughly twice your age and I've only ever had Holden Station wagons this whole time. Perfect for our past times in WP, PPB and Gippsland Great vid mate
heya awesome video. those prawns at the beginning were pretty big. and awesome catch and cook as well. i just wanted to ask, wat was that contraption at you had at the end of your kayak? looks very useful especially to protect the rudder below the yak.
Gday Nev, Dam good vid mate A1. Those big mullet are suburb eating. Lots of meat and big bones, nothing like normal yellow eye mullet. Truely better than bream. I’ve caught heaps in Tyres 👍🎣
Haha you nailed the thumbnail 😂. Been watching your videos for quite some time now. I really enjoy the big fish missions on the kayak. Unfortunately there is no fishing in the middle of Australia but I am coming down to Adelaide for 1 month in June July to stay at my grandparents place and a few other places and I want to do a ton of fishing I know a spot where I can target elephant sharks and seven gill sharks I know you hate seven gills but I’ll be fishing land based for them of a little jetty on a little island called granite island at Victor harbour. If you were going to target 7 gills what set up would you use like hook size trace sinker bait. also for the elephants
Good stuff Nev, great video. You should do a video where you go onto port Phillip side and hit all the piers from Portsea to mornington and try catch the species that first comes up on google when you search “What fish can you catch at (the pier) pier? Would love to see a vid on the PPB side. Good stuff
Hey mate, I've only just stumbled across this channel and so glad I did! Sensational presentation and videoing. I've watched back to the "Male Karen" episode- you handled that like an absolute champion!! Look forward to seeing your channel grow.
Awesome video! Trevally is my favourite eating fish. Can you please do a multi-species challenge at corinella pier to see what you can catch there. I fish there a lot and don't catch a lot so, because you know a lot about fishing i wanted to see if you could catch anything there.😁😁😁😁
Hey bro, love the new videos. I wish i had the time to fish as much as you do. Keep going with the videos and i reckon you could make a real living out of it. Rock on!
