Speaker level settings is what saved me lol, I changed to this pioneer deck from an older one installed everything the same but the sub was barely moving, and now I’m gettting bass, thank you, you saved me from possibly getting screwed over at an audio shop 😅
Maaaan, I’m so glad I found this video, I thought I messed up on install when sub wasn’t producing sound lol. Didn’t know I had to turn it on in settings.

Jensen radio setting for subwoofers
Hello, may I know what is the lowest frequency available for the subwoofer setting in this head unit ?
Please be more specific with your question. Do you mean the lowest crossover frequency? If so, the lowest LPF crossover frequency setting on the Pioneer AVH-2300NEX is 25Hz. Pioneer NEX in-dash receivers are designed play from 20 Hz to 20 kHz.

Any recommendations on these levels? I'm looking for nice clean tight bass. Listen mostly to rock music. Thanks
Rob on mine I stay between 65 and 80 hrtz and 12 slope. In that setting I can play mostly any genre music without a problem. But of course you need to adjust your amp too. For example I have a 2000.1 Brutus amp powering 2 12" NVX 124 on 1 ohm. My amp I set it half ways in the gains. That way I don't have to have to open my trunk to adjust my bass I will control everything from my head unit. The only thing I adjust is the Subwoofer setting on the Radio...since my crossover is set at 65 at 12 slope.
Everyone's ears is different. One thing you can do is go to an empty parking lot close your windows and play with the settings. And then see how it sounds with windows open. It might take you a bit of time to set it perfectly to your tune. Good Luck.

How do i know exactly which double dins have network mode so i wont buy the wrong one?
As of 2019 January, this 2-DIN with a screen list has network mode: AVIC-W8400NEX, AVIC-W6400NEX, AVH-W4400NEX, AVH-600EX, AVH-601EX, AVH-500EX, AVH-501EX, AVH-1400NEX, AVH-1440NEX, AVH-2400NEX, AVH-2440NEX, MVH-1400NEX, MVH-2400NEX. All have network mode. If you have a question about a particular model, give me the model number. So quick question my radio won't let me turn the subwoofer on? I can click it over and over and it stays off and won't let me turn the subwoofer on to get the settings..any ideas?

Im having the same problem with my nex 2330. The subwoofer plays, but there is no turning it on from the menu. I also set my eq to custom, but now I can't set it to anything else.

Please be more specific with your question. You have a Pioneer DMH-1770NEX in-dash receiver, OK great. What else do you have? What vehicle make, model, year? What are your speakers? Do you have external amplifiers? Do you have a subwoofer? Self-powered or external amp and sub ?

I have an infiniti i30, which has a subwoofer, however, according to the wiring diagram, its only hooked up to the bose amp, and theres no wiring in the stereo bay for the sub. This means that the subwoofer rca plugs are not being used... if i turn on subwoofer in the settings will it use my sub through the amp or do i need to manually wire it up to use those settings?

@@pioneerelectronics I believe he's talking about the OEM amplifier and stock speakers. He's asking do the subwoofer settings effect the subwoofer without it being directly hooked up to the pioneer unit.

Please be more specific about the Pioneer in-dash receiver model number. The model number is typically written near one of the corners of the screen and begins with the letters AVH, DMH, AVIC. Nearly all of them say mixtrax.
In what screen are you trying to switch the subwoofer output on?
Why does my subwoofer have phase and HPF but the video shows lpf in crossover settings?
What Pioneer in-dash receiver model number do you have? You can usually find the model number near one of the corners of the face of the in-dash receiver. Is your system set up in Standard Mode or in Network mode? Are any of these items grayed out? Are you sure you have selected the Subwoofer output from the chart and not the Front Output or the Rear Output?
my battery died and I thought my amp blew!!!.
If the vehicle's battery is consistently draining when the vehicle is off, it's possible your in-dash receiver or your amplifier are wired incorrectly. Pioneer receivers are designed to automatically switch off when the vehicle is off. This will also automatically switch off any externally connected devices like amplifiers.
