Wow , that brings it all back to me. It feels a lifetime ago! You tell a good story Quinn and 13:38 was great..... I'm looking forward to part 2.

Thank you! I've had a cold for best part of 2 months so recording the voiceover was impossible! But it does feel like it was many years ago! Thanks again for your support and encouragement 🤗😁🍦🍦🍦🍦

Your narrative and comments really resonated with me, great vid! I’ve been riding for too many years and 37 bikes later have decided that smaller bikes are more fun, I’ve toured the UK and abroad and still do and did Nathan’s Garbage run in 2018 but I liked your personal approach and thoughts and the need for ‘space’ in your life. Bikes are great for that as is the community that sits around them. Enjoy your biking!

Thank you for watching! Wow 37! Hope to meet at some point as that sounds an amazing story! Well a few years later and I'm in the process of selling the Transalp and getting a Himalayan this year! Think the costs too really make it worth it, my Alp was 400 insurance a year and my bullet is 100! Almost 100mpg on the bullet Vs 40 mpg of the Alp. The most important part I always want to take the bullet over the Alp! After a year of health issues stopping me from riding, small bikes are exactly what I need! 🥳🥳🥳🙏🙏

sent here by Saddlebags. What a gripping story! I think you touch on something that is very important. I regard driving my motorcycle as therapy. So much what you say is recognisable. One thing I found in getting myself out of a rut is to endeavour in something that is hard to do - that requires to step away from the daily routine and involves some sort of challenge. It is in meeting these challenges and stepping outside our comfort zone where we switch from getting through life and just letting everything happen to jumping in the driver seat and set out to do with a new direction. I still have to watch the other episodes, but I have the feeling that despite the many obstacles and problems you met on the way, you came out with more wisdom and resilience and look back on it saying "its was terrible, but worth it". And yes, I certainly appreciate your playlist as well - "here I go again...." - subbed and liked 🙂

Hi from almost sunny Wales, I found you via a recommendation on my page. Really enjoyed your video. I had so much fun on my 125cc. There are lots of fun things you can do.
Well done looking at history to remind us we don't need to break speed records to enjoy.
Your breakdowns of mileage are commendable.
I look forward to following your journey for 2023. I have just started my own you tube journeys.
Ride safe and enjoy. Lady J Rider

Welcome aboard LadyJ! Will check out your channel! I do miss my 125 and I suppose if I could afford it, I would have kept it - but after a year I just hadn't touched it. But did learn so much from it and it was so much fun! But take care and ride safe duck! ☺️🥳🥳🖖🏼🖖🏼🖖🏼

This was a nice journey through all that happened to you. You rode in such a bad conditions, I mean rain and cold. Hopefully you are OK today and you have just nice memories of all that happened. I saw that you included also Whitesnake. Cool bro. Enjoyed it till the very end. Just keep it up. Cheers.

Thank you so much for watching Gregor! It started as a diary but I think so few videos show the rider and more the beautiful places they arrive to! I do love your travelling series a lot! But in this decided to focus on the journey and not so much the destination - hopefully it will help newer riders and show another view. Take care and ride safe mate 😁🖖🏼

@@quinnpeaksbiker I get it and I agree. There should be a kind of focus on something. You did a great job. Hopefully in the spring time we can all do some more longer rides and film them. :)

I'd love to hear to string if colourful words. You always seem as kicked back and relax guy. Your not the only one who hadn't ridden with all luggage before a trip.
Day of leaving for IOM in 2019 I packed and realised I'd over packed my top box. Whole thing weighted about 13kgs. Rack was rated for 6kg. Didn't even make a phone call just shot of to the local Honda Honda and brought the first panniers I saw on the self, went up to counter and they were the last pair. Oh and cause they were open and packed with pillows to show their size £20 off. Threw them on went home packed the bike. A few hours later jumped on and went oh shit this heavy. Fortunately being a nice day I had planned a stop at Fradley Junction whilst on the way to Utoxeter where I knew I could throw stuff in a car. Long story after getting back on at the pub the penny had dropped. I clicked with it all and everything was fine.
Gaines a few new subs meh, got a free refill thats the ticket 😂
Might have do a vid on that thanks for the inspiration.

Your too kind mate! I dont really tend to use profane language, always have the kids about and not really me🤣🤣😇😇
Totally get the luggage thing, I thought I was getting better but the new metal panniers empty are heavier than plastic ones almost full! Learning a little more every time, just rarely get to go out as kids are too small - get the touring in before it happens to you! Thank you so much for watching, hopefully the rest of series will be interesting to watch, still lots to learn about this editing and video making business, hopefully the next one isn't too much of a bodge!!

I’ve missed two of your videos in two weeks 😱
Really behind on my subs list but finally got to your channel and there’s all this new content !!!
I really enjoyed this mate, nicely narrated and documented. Thought provoking as always too.
So, just enough whisky left in the glass to watch part two before I hit the hay !

El ER! Thank you so much for watching! Really appreciate it mate, I've been shy about putting these out as it's me making a boob of myself and breaking nipples on bikes, the cost of the cream alone was astronomical - just all went tits up I'd say. Xmas holidays gave me a bit of time to push up and pop this through! I'm just happy it's done done, I'm 14 videos behind and really need to get a wiggle on!
Hope it was fun and didn't put you to sleep! But more importantly - what were you drinking!!! 🤣🥳😁😁😁
Take care and ride safe mate 😁🖖🏼

I am actually quite appealed by the garage security and the public there. The implication to me is that they somehow deemed you to be an 'Islamist' threat or something. This country is surprisingly prejudiced and mean hearted. If my inference is correct you were way to generous spirited to speak of them as benignly as you did. Kind regards.

Thank you for watching, I try and show people that bikers are a kind and good lot of people and not what their worst imaginations could conjure. We are humans and have a passion, we might not look the prettiest (in my case especially 🤣🤣) whilst doing it but always come over and say hi. 😊👍🏼
