Sounds like usual so far, except each new generation of leaders will have to prove their own independent creativity and aspiration by starting their own business (no matter how small) and get approved by you before you pass on the position to them. If they're not deemed worthy, tell them to keep trying. If still in the end nobody meets your standards, you keep working in that position until you either die or retire and the entire company disbands. Sounds harsh, but it's more important to keep both the spirit and the body going than just keeping a shell of your former company going. We've seen it happen time and time again and that's a tragedy. Also this creates more opportunities for continued growth than you think, and the risk of the company actually finding no successor to the leader and disbanding is a lot lower than one might expect. This idea is likely to be a success especially at creating generations of competent leaders and companies with concentrated values who also know their own worth and aren't afraid to try new things. The principle of these companies can be as simple as this: either innovate, or evaporate. Stagnation simply isn't an option 😂

The CEO is basically the owner who holds majority of the power and thus acts freely and reserves the right to choose their inheritors. The issue with a lot of those is that it eventually ends up leading to favoritism or nepotism and then stuff goes downhill. On the other hand majority of the companies are controlled by a board of shareholders and/or directors which basically is just employing the one who is most charismatic and has most control as the CEO and keep them as long as they keep making profits, or in rarer cases actually evaluate them and then decide if they stay or they are demoted
