I've beaten Lephantis when I was new to the game... As in, when I believed it was smart to use purely melee and never get a new gun... I beat it using the Braton, it wasn't hard at all...
The first time fought it i couldn't kill it. I play mainly as a melee character and don't give much fudge about guns. I wasn't able to hit it with my whip and my guns didn't do any dmg. after modding it was way easier. It still was annoying as hell .
Actually, Alad V wasn't meant to be killed the way you described. Yes, you can beat him that way, but for newer players there is a better way. When Alad V's sheilds go down so does zanukas and after that is done he doesn't raise his shields again, unless he is downed and revived. Veteren players miss this all the time because they deal so much damage they just flat out down him.
Yep, for very new players there's also Mag. Once Alad's shield is dead trap Zanuka in your 2nd skill's bubble and open fire. It dies in 5 seconds. Bonus time saver if you can trap both of them in the same bubble.
Idk, i didn't really understand the fight but i killed him like this : i downed alad v and when the zanuka was coming, i slashed her with exalted blade
I beat Lephantis first try solo. Funny story actually. I didn't do any research before hand, so I just went with a loadout that I had been using beforehand. I can't remember which frame I was using, but I do know it wasn't a useful one. I was using the Plasmore with maxed radiation, which it turns out is terrible versus fossilized. I had to use my Lex Prime, which I had just forma'd 2 missions ago. So it was quite the slog. I probably burned through 12 pizzas.
Sortie 3 Kela is easy if you know how. EV Trinity to do damage to Kela, Frost avalanche to stop rollers in shoot buttons phase, and maybe a Limbo for orbital strike phase and revives. But ai get where you're coming from, it is really hard if you're not sure how to do it, or don't have the correct team! :)
The Lephantis boss was really cool. It reminded me of the final boss from Metroid Prime 2 Echoes. 1 Phase was a pillar like one with tentacles attacking you, 2 phase was a cocoon and the last was a 5 legged mostrosity.
Or other places like World of Warcraft. Mainly because they are not soloable. They become easy when the group knows what they are doing, I played that game long enough before I left to know shit can hit the fan real quick in those boss fights.
Yes, and no. Good bosses, shitty bosses, are still not really soloable during current content unless you were a DK, and I mean by a god damn geared DK that knew how to play their class. While shitty bosses died easier than most, your group still needed to know WTF they are doing to do any fight.
So my first Lephantis fight was... interesting. 46 minutes and 27 seconds of my running around the arena trying to damage him. I had wukong which basically made me invincible so 90% of the fight was me running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Did I also fail to mention I brought garbage weapons? I thought I was gonna be able to rely on my staff the entire time.
How to beat 'S'Alad V 's ass? 1. Take excalibur 2. Go to Alad V 3. Press 2 4. Kick Salad's ass 5. Aduken zanuka 6. Go to exit That's actually takes 3 second or smth... even whit low level guns
i ran alad v solo and killed him in about 10 minutes using a soma prime and my operator. i made sure that i had large squad ammo and squad health restores in my gear which allowed me to do it.
The thing with alad v that not many people do is take down his shields. Once his shields are down you attack zanuka without downing alad v. After that alad v is easy pickings.
What I'm seeing from comments is that most bosses are actually easy and its just that I'm not using some prime/modded/late game weapon I have no access to at MR6. Really helpful.
Lol ikr, "just use soma prime or limbo prime ez pz" das a bit later on, no newbie will have a prime just starting out, and even then if an experienced player starts fresh getting a prime of anything is a pretty hard challenge on its own :v

My top 5 hardest bosses (from least to greatest) are: 5. Raptor (when I was new) 4. Tyl Regor 3. Lephantis 2. Kela de Thaym 1. Ambulas. Ambulas is now the hardest boss.
Alad V? What's hard for inexperienced players is Kela De Thaym. The amount of players who get one-shot killed by her rockets are ridiculous and most of the time, inexperienced players won't even know that you have to shoot those green lights on the spinning roulette to get her to come back out. And those rollers... don't even get me started on them... without a stealth Warframe, they are fucking annoying. - words from an experienced player.
EᔕOTEᖇIᑕ ᗰᗩGIᑕK an experiened player would know that you could blind the rollers with excal lol and the boss dies in 2 secs with the right frames just saying

Lachlan When I first fought jackal it was basically just jump rope that when you get hit with the rope you fly, it's difficult at lower levels on your own, but a few people helping you and no problem

When I fought Alad V for the first time. I just separate him from zanuka and then with my Max level Heat Sword start presing E as a maniac doing damage to Alad V and Zanuka too.

BouseFeenux Really all you need is a potato'd Tonkor and throw on corrosive mods or heat and cold mods to boost blast damage. It's so easy a starter can do it.
It already got nerfed. One of the SoTR series update removed the auto-headshot from AoE weapons, cutting down the Tonkor's damage output by around 73%. Same for the Synoid Simulor incidentally.
My first experience with alad v was solo and some how (I don't know how) I apparently baited zanuka into attacking a corpus which lead to zanuka being obsessed with killing corpus and leaving me alone to deal with alad
you can easily cheese kela if you use the right frames and weapons. you can easily use a warframe that can negate or counter damage (frost bubble or limbo) and you can use the flamethrower (forgot the name) to take out the buttons. hell i can cheese her using inaros with naramon invisibility
I know this is a little late. But for newer players put there, all you have to do for alad v is get his shields down so you can then kill zanuka. The fight goes alot quicker where your at in the game. Just get alads shields down and zanuka becomes killable, kill zanuka and then alad v
Laphantis was a really manky fight for me, I ran out of bow ammo after the first encounter, had now secondary so my big brain solution was to use garas splinter storm, my operator form and a sword(although I'm not sure if the sword did anything)
For Alad V and 1st part of Golem i use Frost Icewave impedence, kill Alad and his Dog while they still in their animation of moving, same goes for Golem Jugg, drop icewave before the egg pops, he then does a slow lift up and hes done, for the 2nd part of Golem use Odonata like in the video, use its 1st power for the dmg buff, and I use grattler for the weapon, make sure you have Corrosive Projection on too, solo you will get 4k+ per hit with the right mods. My Grattler setup is - Rubedo Lined Barrel - Mag extension - Quasar Drill - Automatic Trigger - Venomous Clip - Electrified Barrel - Dual Rounds - Polar Magazine ( you can use whatever instead of Polar though), with 2 players with corrosive I get 6k+ per hit, hes dead real quick, I've helped a lot of clan members get Atlas with my setup. Have to admit when I first fought Golem he took 20+ mins and a fair few revives, hiding behind the debris at the edge (before they shrank the edge of the map), he is a real bullet sponge with starter gear. And the easiest Boss goes to poor Sargeant, just like when Vor appears in void Sargeant is still talking when hes dead.
How to beat Alad V so easily: 1.Corner Alad V and kill him. 2.Let the Zanuka Hunter revive Alad V. 3.STRIKE BOTH OF THEM WITH YOUR MELEE WEAPON WITH FULL POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Done. :) PS. Vay Hek is harder and solo'd Alad V with Excalibur max rank with Vitality, Redirection, Fast Deflection, and finally Rush (Rush is max rank).

Why isn't the Jackal on here? Seriously, it took me two tries to beat it and the second try, there was one guy who was too powerful for the boss anyway. The first time, I was wrecking shit with normal enemies, so I expected it to be a little more challenging. It was not just "a little more challenging". The Jackal wiped the entire group I was in.
My list, which includes bosses AND assassins: 1. Raptors 2. Tyl Regor 3. Vay Hek 4. Phorid (when it's on high level missions) 5. Stalker (after The Second Dream)
Guys how to easily kill Alad V:do not knock him down take out the corpus and make sure the alarm is off and shoot Alad until he has no more shield then kill his dog Zanuka and him there ez
I'd say the easiest way to take down Vay Hek during the first 4 phases is to just toss some Castanas at him, wait for the vulnerable open face moment and blow him up then rinse and repeat, just take a decent primary that can one shot him during Terra Frame phase. Another pain boss is Tyl Regor. For the longest time everyone suggested Frost and pop a globe. Just use Nyx with a high duration/efficiency build and sit back and laugh as you pop a few bullets into him. The Manics? Not a problem, throw out Nyx's 3rd ability and you're onto the next phase of Tyl Regor in half a second.
You don't have to shoot Vay Hek every time he appears. You can speedrun to the final arena and he will still be there. The only thing you miss out on is a tiny bit of damage.
the second stage of lephantis is i guess u can say harder but it can be over quicker cause the heads don't pop out near u unexpectedly their on one thing so it makes it easier to kill them one by one
Jordas Golem: dance in circles and freely fire at him. Phase 2: stand directly behind him and constantly Fire away at the engines. If you have a Mausolon, I’d recommend that

I know old video, but Alad V is cake. Rhino + Hek, Walk in room....jump to boss platform, Rhino Stomp, 2-3 shot Zanuka, 1-2 shot Alad V before they are even out of the stun. Also didn't think Vor and Kril was that bad of a fight, Vor is such a paper tiger by the time you get to that fight you can kill him pretty fast as long as you have ok mods. I would probably put Sargus Ruk on the list, he's a nightmare solo, especially for new players who don't know how to actually damage him.
Stalker should have been number one, Golem is a tough time for experienced players but when you first see stalker you are absolutely terrified and don’t know what to do. I still remember my first encounter.
Tip to fight lephantis if you have low health or bad weapons (Only the true form 1. Turn into oprator (if u have him) 2.keep being invisible when they shoot or slash you (If you be invisible you will be imortal 3. if your power ran out then dodge 4.Shoot, if you ran out of ammo be invisible 5.Kill the head pink thing first next the neck one next the guy with a reaper sword And there you killed him
I remember running lephantis that was in a sortie...he ended up getting stuck because our slow-va kept hitting him with the molecular prime too early, it took an hour before we got it done
I found Alad V to be quite easy, just used excaliburs's exhalted blade on Alad and then zenuka when they get close. Dunno if that was just a one off though.
Something I actually found with alas V is to take down his shields but leave him alive as it disconnects the shield he is giving to Zanuka so you can kill zanuka without downing him once.
Lephantis, after you kill his phase 1, bring out your operator. When the floor breaks, you are still above and immune to damage. Use your operator powers to kill him from above. Once he's dead, you'll spawn down there.
I'm a knew player and I killed lephantis easily in 10 minutes after I grinded for about a week and had to kill it for a junction on a planet using a rank 14 volt because I thought the shield would be useful and I ended up not even remembering to use the shield so is there a different lephantis like how there's to different stages for the stalker depending on how far you are in the story and if so will I have to fight that thing again because I'm kinda confused because I found this boss easier than the stalker in the second dream

AirCats Stalker and Shadow Stalker aren't considered bosses but rather rare enemies. That's probably why he didn't include it.

Alad V? What's hard for inexperienced players is Kela De Thaym. The amount of players who get one-shot killed by her rockets are ridiculous and most of the time, inexperienced players won't even know that you have to shoot those green lights on the spinning roulette to get her to come back out. And those rollers... don't even get me started on them... without a stealth Warframe, they are fucking annoying. - words from an experienced player.

Lachlan When I first fought jackal it was basically just jump rope that when you get hit with the rope you fly, it's difficult at lower levels on your own, but a few people helping you and no problem

When I fought Alad V for the first time. I just separate him from zanuka and then with my Max level Heat Sword start presing E as a maniac doing damage to Alad V and Zanuka too.
That last boss is such a joke; the enemies do more damage than the actual boss :V

It already got nerfed. One of the SoTR series update removed the auto-headshot from AoE weapons, cutting down the Tonkor's damage output by around 73%.

My first experience with alad v was solo and some how (I don't know how) I apparently baited zanuka into attacking a corpus which lead to zanuka being obsessed with killing corpus and leaving me alone to deal with alad

you can easily cheese kela if you use the right frames and weapons. you can easily use a warframe that can negate or counter damage (frost bubble or limbo) and you can use the flamethrower (forgot the name) to take out the buttons. hell i can cheese her using inaros with naramon invisibility
You can just EV her down in sorties, such an easy boss fight in the regular mission as well.

I know this is a little late. But for newer players put there, all you have to do for alad v is get his shields down so you can then kill zanuka. The fight goes alot quicker where your at in the game. Just get alads shields down and zanuka becomes killable, kill zanuka and then alad v

Laphantis was a really manky fight for me, I ran out of bow ammo after the first encounter, had now secondary so my big brain solution was to use garas splinter storm, my operator form and a sword(although I'm not sure if the sword did anything)

*Me (Excalibur then) with a Mesa (level 1) and a Nyx (level 7) defeated them in 5 minutes (or less) .* 😑🤔😏

For Alad V and 1st part of Golem i use Frost Icewave impedence, kill Alad and his Dog while they still in their animation of moving, same goes for Golem Jugg, drop icewave before the egg pops, he then does a slow lift up and hes done, for the 2nd part of Golem use Odonata like in the video, use its 1st power for the dmg buff, and I use grattler for the weapon, make sure you have Corrosive Projection on too, solo you will get 4k+ per hit with the right mods.
My Grattler setup is - Rubedo Lined Barrel - Mag extension - Quasar Drill - Automatic Trigger - Venomous Clip - Electrified Barrel - Dual Rounds - Polar Magazine ( you can use whatever instead of Polar though), with 2 players with corrosive I get 6k+ per hit, hes dead real quick, I've helped a lot of clan members get Atlas with my setup.
Have to admit when I first fought Golem he took 20+ mins and a fair few revives, hiding behind the debris at the edge (before they shrank the edge of the map), he is a real bullet sponge with starter gear.
And the easiest Boss goes to poor Sargeant, just like when Vor appears in void Sargeant is still talking when hes dead.
For the Lephantis I did it first try solo. I recommend focusing one head using your operators beam.
How to beat Alad V so easily:
1.Corner Alad V and kill him.
2.Let the Zanuka Hunter revive Alad V.
3.STRIKE BOTH OF THEM WITH YOUR MELEE WEAPON WITH FULL POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS. Vay Hek is harder and solo'd Alad V with Excalibur max rank with Vitality, Redirection, Fast Deflection, and finally Rush (Rush is max rank).
Better yet: Rush Salad with Hysteria and go apeshit on him and Zanuka.
Or take out alad sheild then kill zanuka

Sargas Ruk is pretty easy for me. I just brought my Rhino and used Iron Skin before unloading my Tigris at the lights.

Seriously, it took me two tries to beat it and the second try, there was one guy who was too powerful for the boss anyway. The first time, I was wrecking shit with normal enemies, so I expected it to be a little more challenging. It was not just "a little more challenging". The Jackal wiped the entire group I was in.
My list, which includes bosses AND assassins:
1. Raptors
2. Tyl Regor
3. Vay Hek
4. Phorid (when it's on high level missions)
5. Stalker (after The Second Dream)
Guys how to easily kill Alad V:do not knock him down take out the corpus and make sure the alarm is off and shoot Alad until he has no more shield then kill his dog Zanuka and him there ez
I'd say the easiest way to take down Vay Hek during the first 4 phases is to just toss some Castanas at him, wait for the vulnerable open face moment and blow him up then rinse and repeat, just take a decent primary that can one shot him during Terra Frame phase. Another pain boss is Tyl Regor. For the longest time everyone suggested Frost and pop a globe. Just use Nyx with a high duration/efficiency build and sit back and laugh as you pop a few bullets into him. The Manics? Not a problem, throw out Nyx's 3rd ability and you're onto the next phase of Tyl Regor in half a second.

lephantis is pretty easy, just keep distance and have a hard hitting weapon. then it's very easy
i love how you consider yourself a pro, while you put the most easiest bosses of the game in a top 5 hardest bosses.
You don't have to shoot Vay Hek every time he appears. You can speedrun to the final arena and he will still be there. The only thing you miss out on is a tiny bit of damage.

the second stage of lephantis is i guess u can say harder but it can be over quicker cause the heads don't pop out near u unexpectedly their on one thing so it makes it easier to kill them one by one
Just use your top exalted blade ability and slice ‘em until they die. It works most effectively.

I know old video, but Alad V is cake. Rhino + Hek, Walk in room....jump to boss platform, Rhino Stomp, 2-3 shot Zanuka, 1-2 shot Alad V before they are even out of the stun. Also didn't think Vor and Kril was that bad of a fight, Vor is such a paper tiger by the time you get to that fight you can kill him pretty fast as long as you have ok mods.
I would probably put Sargus Ruk on the list, he's a nightmare solo, especially for new players who don't know how to actually damage him.
Stalker should have been number one, Golem is a tough time for experienced players but when you first see stalker you are absolutely terrified and don’t know what to do. I still remember my first encounter.
Tip to fight lephantis if you have low health or bad weapons
(Only the true form
1. Turn into oprator (if u have him)
2.keep being invisible when they shoot or slash you (If you be invisible you will be imortal
3. if your power ran out then dodge
4.Shoot, if you ran out of ammo be invisible
5.Kill the head pink thing first next the neck one next the guy with a reaper sword
And there you killed him
I remember running lephantis that was in a sortie...he ended up getting stuck because our slow-va kept hitting him with the molecular prime too early, it took an hour before we got it done
I found Alad V to be quite easy, just used excaliburs's exhalted blade on Alad and then zenuka when they get close. Dunno if that was just a one off though.

Something I actually found with alas V is to take down his shields but leave him alive as it disconnects the shield he is giving to Zanuka so you can kill zanuka without downing him once.
Lephantis, after you kill his phase 1, bring out your operator. When the floor breaks, you are still above and immune to damage. Use your operator powers to kill him from above. Once he's dead, you'll spawn down there.
I'm a knew player and I killed lephantis easily in 10 minutes after I grinded for about a week and had to kill it for a junction on a planet using a rank 14 volt because I thought the shield would be useful and I ended up not even remembering to use the shield so is there a different lephantis like how there's to different stages for the stalker depending on how far you are in the story and if so will I have to fight that thing again because I'm kinda confused because I found this boss easier than the stalker in the second dream
*_for lephantis i recommend Lex and boltor, Lex for the melee thing, and boltor for the two others, and use a firerate for boltor_*

Lephantis with revenant is a cakewalk bc lephantis doesnt attack often enough so that mesmer skin gets depleted to quickly for you to refresh
