      Very cool, thank you! Sorry for the delayed reply but in case you saved some of the seeds, I hope you are growing them yourself. After a very slow start (see my pinned comment to see them after a year's worth of growth), they are finally starting to grow much faster. I'll be doing an update video on them in the coming weeks when I transplant them.

      That is fantastic to hear, I'm so glad you are growing them too. Mine grew very slowly at first (you can see them in my one year update video which is pinned as the top comment).
      Since then though, they've really started to grow a lot faster. I'll do another update video on them when I transplant them out to a bigger container in the coming weeks.

    For those who are having trouble with growing tiny seeds like strawberry, dragon fruit, blueberyy, and stuff like that, I recomend that you fill a pot with soil, on top of the soil put a paper towel, on top of the put your seeds, and cover it with more soil. I came up with this method myself, i tried it with some dragon seeds and it worked! I recommend!!!

    I just did this but with the yellow dragon fruit. While the flesh is sweet ( which are in a big clear 8:18 bag around each one, my red dragon fruit seeds don’t have this bag) but the seeds are tart like the kiwi. It was the best dragon fruit I’ve ever had. I’m trying different methods to grow these since the first time I did it from fresh fruit it has taken months for the seeds to germinate and start growing. They are now 4 months approximately and maybe a quarter of an inch big. They should be bigger. Do you know why it’s taking them so long? And why do the yellow dragon fruit seeds have a clear bag of liquid around the seeds? Will that make a difference in growing them? I’m glad i found your video. Ty for any help you can give me.

    İf i grow dragon fruit from seeds can i get the same fruit? And Maybe can not it give fruit?

    • @ConscientiousOmnivore
      @ConscientiousOmnivore  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's my understanding that the plants will still fruit. They are not genetic clones of the parent plant when grown from seed - only growing from cuttings will ensure they are exactly the same. However, it's my understanding that it shouldn't be a problem at all and the fruit will be viable.
      I will keep doing periodic updates on them as they continue to grow. Make sure to check my one year update video (pinned as the top comment) and subscribe if you'd like to see what they look like now. I'll be doing a new video in the coming weeks about them when I transplant them. They are much bigger now and growing faster.

    • @ConscientiousOmnivore
      @ConscientiousOmnivore  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Rebina. I had used a very sandy soil because it was my understanding that it was best for the dragon fruit. However, several people have commented to let me know that you can use just about any soil so long as it's well draining. I recently planted one of the little guys into its own container because I'm going to give it away as a gift. I used regular potting mix and it seems to be doing fine. I only water it very occasionally.
