In the jet engine business, we call that a compressor stall with flameout.

5 gallon #2 diesel and 1 gallon gas thins diesel so don’t smell up with fumes because some say you can run jet fuel in them.

I remember the old blue reddy heat torpedo heaters had a screw to set the mixture if that got clogged with dirt they would do the same thing. Moisture in the fuel tank will make one act up. Blistered, wore, or improperly gapped spark plug will make one act funny. Also fuel tank cap or tank vent not breathing or plugged with debris will do this. Dirt or moisture accumulated in the fuel system will do this to these heaters. If you add a little isopropyl alcohol to your fuel it reduces the odor and helps with any moisture in the fuel tank. I remember my dad used a good funnel with a water separating filter for racing fuel every time he filled his torpedo heater because it made a difference in heater performance.
    Great video 👍

Have a newer Craftsman that wouldn't start or stay lit. Cleaned the nozzle out real good and it fired right up.

What if u changed the photo cell still isn't igniting new filter everything is a go except kerosene might be bad as everything else is working we don't get it. We worked the psi too and still not igniting. What eider can it be other than kerosene or the board?
