Everyone knows BIGBANG built YG, YG even said so himself. It's because of BIGBANG's success (money) that other YG idols were able to live in lavish/expensive dorms, while BB slept in small, rat infested rooms and had no money for food. I really wish 3rd gen fandoms respected our KINGs for helping their idols live a better life in YG.
And 2ne1 too, it was not as bad as Big Bang's time but 2ne1 also train in horrible conditions too and their success also bring money and fame to YG with their world tour and sponsors with fashion and in the U.S
iKON still have the great attitude that they developed since pre-debut. If they win, they say "we'll stay humble and work harder with same spirit", if they lose, they say "we did our best and we have no regrets, it's a lesson to learn, we just need to work even harder". That's what I've learnt from them and why I love them. + they've always got each other's back, the brotherhood bond is like no other group. And that's why iKON experienced unbelievable falls and stress in their lives but they could never be broken. They just climb back over and over.

This is the era where no matter what group you stan, you also love and support the other groups in YG. YGA treats each other as family, so their fans also do the same. No hates and insecurities like how the newgen fans of today mostly do. And i can say, that this is the most dominating era of YGE.
Hanbin is well known for his melodic rapping and doesn't always show his aggressive side but when he goes hard he's really explosive it's sad that he can only do that type of rapping with the songs that were released on soundclouds or bandcamp.. He's great with trap too but iKON's music doesn't allow him to venture on that cuz as idols there were standards and different expectations hopefully tho' since he's no longer in YGE and most likely going solo when he returns he really come up with an album that showcase his versatility not only as an artists/composer/producer but as an incredible rapper.. i always love iKON doing contemporary lyrical dance choreos cuz their facial expressions (specially Hanbin but here the huet expression on Bobby was so believable he nailed it) are incredible but in this dance performance my fave part was when Bobby grabbed Jinhwan out of the hole smoothly like to be able to do that perfectly it takes a lot of practice and great strength, it was so fluid that it went so quick and almost unnoticeable..
I think hanbin also said that some iKON members don’t really understand hiphop so he had to adjust the style for them? Glad that he can stand out with his own style but a bit worry for iKON

You guys need to watch MIX&MATCH Team B plus 3 trainees. You'll see how B.I protected TEAM B. He didn't want the new trainees to replace his members. And how B.I. struggled as a LEADER and a contestant in Show Me The Money (BI & BOBBY both joined. BB won) After that, Chanwoo joined the team and they debuted as iKON. YG Treasure Box (TREASURE) you'll see a lot of great trainees. Some of them debuted already in other companies.

Lol Winner average height is the tallest out of all YG groups. All Winner members are 180cm or taller except for Jinwoo. Jinwoo looks short in the group but he's still around 177cm. I feel Daesung's and TOP's comments about both Teams. Personally I think WIN is still an issue for ICs and iKonics but... I personaly rooted for team A, even though I'm VIP. Not because someone's better but because it's what my heart feels. As Dae said before: Team B is really good, but you feel Team A. Or as J.Y.Park said. Their (Team A and B) strong points and flavour of their music are different. I always feel it's unfair comparison. While Team B that time showed great team work and insane energy, Team A showed their different personalities and something touching. Their vocals...oh my God..I'm still listening to their "Officially missing you". But I'm glad it turned out like this: both teams improved, both teams are doing great after. Both teams won ROTY as they deserved. I can't imagine iKON being WINNER...how this charismatic as hell guys can be WINNER...but Team A matches perfectly. Plus nobody knows what it will be for team A if they didn't win. If it was like that...oh, no this world will be unlucky to lose them as Winner. Agree. For me too, that time Team A was really deserving to win because all of the members was already fully equipped. Unlike team B during that time, only Bobby, BI and Jay I think was ready. And I'm glad that they didn't win because "Empty" does not suit Team B for a debut song hahaha. Big Bang and 2ne1 really built YG to the success that it really it today. Big Bang and 2ne1 train in horrible condition in the past but they broke records with Big Bang making money both as a group and as a solos, while 2ne1 making contacts all around the world (especially in the fashion world) and being the first girl group that has a world tour. New fans should really see and appreciate the hard work that not just Big Bang and 2ne1 did but the whole 1st and 2nd gen did so that the new groups can be more mainstream to the rest of the world.
I feel like I would of pick Team A maybe for the first round everything was great. Team B had very out there moment mostly the rappers (made me feel excited). But when it was vocal part idk felt kinda lacking compare to the rapping. I wasn't feeling their vocals as much as team A. (Sorry but my opinion) 47:40 I agree w/ top with the dancing comment. Overall they both did great that it was hard to choose which one I liked more. Best moves of the entire episode 48:00.
agreed.... team b singing performance was soo.good bcoz of their rappers. the power and energy from double B stood out and made a lot of impact in their performance but when.you took them out when it comes to vocals.. team A really has a lot of potential. team was so balance. besides their style really are not hiphop that we used to saw in yg that is why... i guess team A that time didnt know their personality and style of their group and they are trying hard to be hiphop LOL.

Team B did astoundingly well in this show, when I was watching it in real time I really supported them and I was really upset when Team A won, though admittedly they really turned things around by the final battle and I see what people mean by them feeling more affection for Team A versus Team B. You should check out Mix and Match after to really see how iKON was forged by being made to walk through fire.
becoz yg saw the readiness and full potential of team A in.the last two episodes.they improved tremendously as a team. yes team B really doing well in the first episodes but when it comes to own composition battles yg thought farther not just based on the reality show but he was already thinking after the show. maybe he notice that team A already found their uniques style as a group and not being a trying.hard hiphop anymore. he saw how good lyricist MINO and YOON and how they were so good in their vocals so he decided to debut them first.and not just bcoz they were older than team B. team B that time is good but we know each.member still has lacking when it comes to vocals so they put on another reality show to improve.

I personaly rooted for team A, even though I'm VIP. Not because someone's better but because it's what my heart feels. As Dae said before: Team B is really good, but you feel Team A. Or as J.Y.Park said. Their (Team A and B) strong points and flavour of their music are different. I always feel it's unfair comparison. While Team B that time showed great team work and insane energy, Team A showed their different personalities and something touching. Their vocals...oh my God..I'm still listening to their "Officially missing you". But I'm glad it turned out like this: both teams improved, both teams are doing great after. Both teams won ROTY as they deserved. I can't imagine iKON being WINNER...how this charismatic as hell guys can be WINNER...but Team A matches perfectly. Plus nobody knows what it will be for team A if they didn't win. If it was like that...oh, no this world will be unlucky to lose them as Winner. And iKON ...they wouldn't met their Chanwoo soo...I prefer not to think about unfairness or etc. I prefer to think about Magic of universe cause I think things turn out really well.

Agree. For me too, that time Team A was really deserving to win because all of the members was already fully equipped. Unlike team B during that time, only Bobby, BI and Jay I think was ready. And I'm glad that they didn't win because "Empty" does not suit Team B for a debut song hahaha. Big Bang and 2ne1 really built YG to the success that it really it today. Big Bang and 2ne1 train in horrible condition in the past but they broke records with Big Bang making money both as a group and as a solos, while 2ne1 making contacts all around the world (especially in the fashion world) and being the first girl group that has a world tour. New fans should really see and appreciate the hard work that not just Big Bang and 2ne1 did but the whole 1st and 2nd gen did so that the new groups can be more mainstream to the rest of the world.

I feel like I would of pick Team A maybe for the first round everything was great. Team B had very out there moment mostly the rappers (made me feel excited). But when it was vocal part idk felt kinda lacking compare to the rapping. I wasn't feeling their vocals as much as team A. (Sorry but my opinion) 47:40 I agree w/ top with the dancing comment. Overall they both did great that it was hard to choose which one I liked more. Best moves of the entire episode 48:00.

2NE1 was hella profitable too (3rd best selling girl group after Spice girls and TLC). I dont think YG meant to put down the girls (profitability) when he said about Bigbang. It was just a fact bec they are the main reason YG entered the big three agency in S korea (before 2ne1s debut). They are senior to 2NE1 by 4 or 5 yrs? Not even Seven, 1Tym or other older YG artist was able to do what Bigbang did for YG

I think top is not comparing mino n seunghoon. He is commenting on them separately. Hoony wasnt really good in rapping during his kpop star era. He is quite unstable . Maybe that was why TOP was shock listening to him rapping at that day

Team B did astoundingly well in this show, when I was watching it in real time I really supported them and I was really upset when Team A won, though admittedly they really turned things around by the final battle and I see what people mean by them feeling more affection for Team A versus Team B.
You should check out Mix and Match after to really see how iKON was forged by being made to walk through fire.
becoz yg saw the readiness and full potential of team A in.the last two episodes.they improved tremendously as a team. yes team B really doing well in the first episodes but when it comes to own composition battles yg thought farther not just based on the reality show but he was already thinking after the show. maybe he notice that team A already found their uniques style as a group and not being a trying.hard hiphop anymore. he saw how good lyricist MINO and YOON and how they were so good in their vocals so he decided to debut them first.and not just bcoz they were older than team B. team B that time is good but we know each.member still has lacking when it comes to vocals so they put on another reality show to improve.
