  • Thank for checking out the channel. Today we will be talking about the way we, the consumers, buy camera...and just about everything else. In the past, it was expected that you could see, feel and demo a product before buying it. That doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

    I've used to buy gear from B&H paper catalog 40 years ago and they had liberal return policy so I've been living in "buying first" system all my life. Worked for me just fine. What changed is were I get my research from nowadays - no more pop photo or shutterbug but more reddit and TH-cam.

    Thanks for the comment. As a kid I loved thumbing through the Sears and JCPenney catalogs, so I can relate. But, as an adult, I sure do miss brink and mortar stores.

    I have 2 lumix cameras, both found online, used one 12 megipixel micro 4/3 one 16 megipixel waterproof. For vacations and to just play with. I like micro photography and light painting with the micro 4/3 camera. It's just for fun, not money, so I'm not really worried about the noise.
