I heard the elementor plug-in makes your website slow and that WordPress websites need constant maintenance and updating your plug-ins to prevent your entire website from breaking. How is you experience related to that? Do you have to update plug-ins every few weeks or is it a good solution to make a website for a client and then leave them alone with very basic maintenance they can easily handle?

Good tutorial Thank you- but there is a glitch or something that i do not get - as it is impossible on my side to change the current pictures and replace them with the ones in the gallery. i am not sure what i am missing. I reset 2 times and start over 2 times; still cannot remove pictures without removing the complete container/box. May be you could do a short video with just this part. thank you.

As a newbie I have a quick question to confirm (and I might be missing something): Do I need to first upgrade/subscribe to any Wordpress plans (Starter, Explorer, Creator, Entrepreneu, etc.), before purchasing/subscribing to a Hostinger plan? Did you figure it out? You don't need a wordpress paid plan for this to work. I can't speak to hostingers setup, but wordpress is free to install. On my hosting provider I know I can install wordpress through cpanel I'd assume hostinger is similar. I self host for playing with wordpress as I've just started with it. I was able to install it and set it up fine. Basically I just followed this guide from after the chapter about installing wordpress and I got the same functionality.

Question - I paid for the second plan with Wordpress, domain hosted by Google (now squarespace). I'm transfering the domain hosting to Hostinger. Once that's done, will I need to still be paying for my Wordpress plan, or will the Hostinger plan cover some of that?
When I installed the templates as described there is no option to choose the editor. After the template has finished installing there pages are there without the option to edit with Elementor. If you install Elementor yourself and edit the pages with Elementor there is only 1 container and all entire content is inside 1 text box so I cannot see an easy way to drag the individual text lines into a new container.

Does the hostinger subscription include these advantages, because now I have to design the site solely via wordpress and that's really not as good.
I assume you‘re on a wordpress.com plan. Honestly I recommend to just get a hostinger plan and build your site. You have a 30 day money back guarantee so they‘ll just refund you if you want to cancel within a month. There is a way to self host your website but I‘ve have never done it myself, maybe you‘ll find a video about it on yt. good luck!
Astra theme is no longer free. You have to upgrade to the Creator level at WordPress apparently. Any suggestions for an equivalent free (or explorer level that I have) theme?

Never mind. It doesn't give you the three boxes (Block, Ele or Beave) anymore. It auto-advances to the next screen and you have to click the dropdown up top to choose Elementor.

I guess I'm an idiot because I have been at it for 3 hours and I can't find half the things in the video. Elementor only worked on half of my page. It told me to upgrade for more tools. I can't change the title color for starters. Is this the basic tools or the upgraded plugins?
That's one thing in my own research these different TH-cam channels fail to mention: since this is their business they all have the fully paid version of most themes and plug-ins they use. The rest of us do not
I would look for (local) businesses that have a terrible looking website or no website at all. Then create a quick draft of what you could make for them. Maybe you also want to build out your portfolio by offering to create websites for free. Once you have a good portfolio of websites, it will be easier to get clients.

I guess I'm an idiot because I have been at it for 3 hours and I can't find half the things in the video. Elementor only worked on half of my page. It told me to upgrade for more tools. I can't change the title color for starters. Is this the basic tools or the upgraded plugins?
That's one thing in my own research these different TH-cam channels fail to mention: since this is their business they all have the fully paid version of most themes and plug-ins they use. The rest of us do not

using wordpress is free, but you need hosting the host your website which is not free. I explain it in the first part of the video.

I’m looking for clients, how do you get clients that need websites. Which one is better cold calling or creating ads?
I would look for (local) businesses that have a terrible looking website or no website at all. Then create a quick draft of what you could make for them. Maybe you also want to build out your portfolio by offering to create websites for free. Once you have a good portfolio of websites, it will be easier to get clients.
