I looked all over for a video that would teach me a technique to make stem-like branches for my Audrey II sculpture!! Thanks so much this is very helpful.
Amazing, very impressive. A great shame that the foliage is not more realistic. But just being made with materials most people have at home is brilliant.🙏🙏🙏
STRYKER Buenas. Veo que te estás especializando últimamente en árboles. Debes de tener ya en tu casa un maravilloso y frondoso bosque. Gracias por compartir tus bonitos trabajos.
OK...so I'll try to tell you what he's using....I think I can figure it out. You'll have to forgive me if I'm wrong, though. He started with a piece of cardboard that he cut to shape OR he made something out of brown clay that was either air dried clay or the kind you bake in the oven...but I really think it was cardboard considering he's making something out of paper mache. Then he rolled up aluminum foil and hot blued it to his base and hot glued branches and additions to the base. Then he put glue on the 'true' and added cut up tissue paper (the kind you wrap presents in and can get from the Dollar Tree). He did the same for the 'leaves'. It looks to me like he used Vandyke Brown as the base color for the tree trunk then painted over in a lighter brown with touches of a dark green. They would have to be water based as glue is a water based product. You can see the colors he was using/choosing as he tested them out on his left hand at 10:30 . The same dark green he touched up the trunk with he used on the 'leaves' and then used a lighter green on the edges and in strategic spots to represent 'light'. I would also use tiny bits of yellow for this which he may have done. At the very end, it looks to me like he went back through and used to light shades of brown and touched up the 'knobbly' places on the tree trunk. And if I were to guess - as I am - I'd say everything you see around the tree was made with aluminum foil. Hope this helps!
same question but he didn't answer 😒. I'm curious what kind of paper is the tree because it is color silver. Is it paper or foil (use in wrapping food)?

Some times can’t watch because of the weird music sorry
Just turn the sound down. That's what I do on most utube videos.
Thank you ,I didn’t even think of it
@@peterbowden7506 Not only mute the sound, Peter, you can play your own music; I do. :)
