    -----
    In this clip, Jon B spoke on 2 Pac’s urgency to get all of his music out. Jon B said seeing Pac’s bullet wounds on his chest when he took his shirt off in the studio put everything into perspective.
    From there, Jon B and Vlad discussed how the singer felt after hearing the news of 2 Pac being shot. He said he thought the rapper was going to live because he was previously shot six times and lived.

      I can beat them number with me and Google but that good though for back in the day just saying but if you just sat and actualy did that for a living pretty sure ain't that hard the hard part is coming up with the material the topic the story of the song and keep doing every year and never run out of material well it not easy you have to be interesting and be creative and sometime be not your self it all about what the people wants to hear and would listen too but to figure that out you would have to listen to the right people that would give good feed back vs person not even in that scene or environment or place it all about knowing what will sale vs not just wasting time and energy not everyone cut up for this life or lifestyle it not no over night stars all years in the making and dedication and time put in that why they on the top vs artist is not hmm it not about favoring someone hmmm get out and put the time and effort like them and it big plus know the right person just because u in the scene for a day or two don't make you a star usually the scout would pick people that are original and stand out from the rest that from looks or personality or how interesting or our going a person is and then if you cool person meaning opened minded person that don't judge others so quickly.... And fastest way just ask for help really no string attach beating around getting a nigga guessing well shit that don't get you no where plus these days pretty hard to find me seem like some people still want keep me a secret plus for me it not fun when I go somewhere public and that shit script or someone trying to control the scene it not the same like back in the day less knew none script or being controlled now it just np fun it like can't tell anything real or script when I'm out in public it like you really trying to fool me I invented the game every one always playing last year game it lame was fun last year just saying wonder how many actualy click like I know they hear me 😂

    Jon B’s wrong about scars on Pac’s chest. Pac wasn’t shot in the chest in 1994. The five bullet wounds were one in the hand, one in the leg, one in the groin, and two graze wounds to his head. I think what Jon is referring to is the skin irritation visible on Pac’s Nefertiti tattoo on his right pec. His sister Set is on record as saying his skin developed a bad reaction to the ink in that tattoo which is what makes the skin appear raised and damaged. That happened right around the time of Ayana Jackson’s rape allegation against Pac, which is kind of spooky considering the Nefertiti tat is a symbol of Pac’s respect for strong black women. It’s like the tat was telling him not all black women have got your back and deserve your respect.

    Tupac was a product of the Hip Hop era; MCs were *gifted* back then 🙌🙏 Cube, Slick Rick, Rakim, B.I.G., Kane, etc, & so forth...all the top acts (for the most part) were INCREDIBLE🎙💪 Your art form (DJ'ing, B-Boying, Graffitti Writing or MC'ing) was *everything* to you💖 The Fab Five Freddy interview gives a really good sense of what Hip Hop is all about...
    Nowadays, everyone just wants to get rich. Young cats mock our generation for being so salty. We're not angry, just heart broken💔 What's happened to Hip hop is akin to the ending of "The Education Of Sonny Carson", when Sonny returns home only to discover that all his childhood friends are either dead or strung out on drugs😢 Today's top acts consist *mostly* (not entirely) of "hustlers"--gang bangers, drug dealers, drug addicts and strippers. And in that regard, the spirit of Hip Hop is just gone, man😞

    If you want to know how big Pac really was back then, I always tell people this little story. Pac died while I was in Marine Corps boot camp. At the end of the day we break for prayer time b4 bed and right b4 they let us go one of our DIs asked us if we liked rap or hip hop then some of us said yes. And he told us that Pac had been shot in Vegas a couple days earlier and then died early that day. That was the only thing our DIs told us of the outside world for 3 months. Pac made our DIs share his death with us.

      Yeah, that's what I heard. Hell, NOBODY liked Death Row after a while. He was signed to do 3 albums, & since All Eyez On Me was a double album, it actually counted as 2, so taking all the time it took him to record THAT & 7 Day Theory & had he ONLY focused on recording those albums back to back, he basically would've finished his contractual obligation in a month in a half at most. Word is he even planned to do a album called "One Nation" with a lot of different rappers, it probably could've even squashed a few beefs.

    • @willhustle25
      @willhustle25 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Kendrick Africanus Uh Pac didn't really want to be at DR anymore because when it was time for Suge to pay Pac the royalities from AEOM, Suge stayed buying Pac cars & jewelry instead of paying in cash.
      When Pac died he only had 10K in his bank account and he bought his mama a house but he didn't own it. Look up "Welcome to Death Row" documentary & the interview Pac's mother did on ABC around '97 or '98.
