They dont. Thats one of the reasons they always stay in the car. They realize the car as no threat and that they cant catch it. A human out side just holding the camera would be a different story.
@@Akaya3511 correct, they see the car as no threat. the car has no head or no eyes. as soon as you wind down the window or step out of the car, the lions will turn their heads toward you and look you right in your eyes.

Simon, Jonathan Scott, and Saba were on Big Cat Diaries in the early 2000s. This here is a mini series based in the same area with Johnathan Scott and many of the related animals from the same prides & coalitions that they filmed here in the Mara yrs ago.

Lipstick died in 2018, and Blackie was forced out due to new males taking over the territory. The Bila Shaka (aka 6 pack) coalition took over the Topi pride (aka Rhino Ridge pride). Some of the cubs died during the takeover. Very sad, but it's the way of lions.

It's incredible how much lions do care for their cubs. Considering how harsh lion society really is, when it's their own cubs, the males really do want their sons to have a good start in life before they are exiled to begin their journey onward and continue their father's legacy. They could have easily taken that kill from their boys for themselves, but watching them sit there and ensure that other predators don't harass their meal is astounding. The amount of parenting that comes from these beautiful cats is inspiring.

Yes I use to love that show. Have you ever seen Savage Kingdom on Amazon Prime? It's like a soap opera or the African Plains. Lions, leopards, hyenas and wild dogs. It's great! Now 3 seasons.
Africa is an amazing wild life documentary producer. Go there u will see more amazing raw natural photages and animals u never heard of. Mind blowing scenes!!!

some info about the male lions: lipstick and blackie used to be in a coalition of 4 brothers named the 4KM BOYZ. sadly, they got in a fight with the 5 notch boys and 2 died. only lipstick and blackie survived. they ruled the topi plains pride for almost 7 years and sadly, lipstick passed away to a fatal hip injury last year. blackie hasn’t been spotted since May 2018 and he probably passed away too. lipstick was the dominant one of the 2

I can believe that. Never been a barmaid myself but one of my fave pursuits is watching males and females in action around clubs, bars etc and all their manouevres. Very amusing.The way the girls act so uninterested whilst subtly, surrepticiiusly checking out the male "talent" and assessing their female competition or the rest of the feminist "sisterhood" during such girls' nights out. And the way the superstuds swagger and strut around attracting attention to certain male anatomical attibutes...Pretending to great their mates, when there is only one potential mate they are really interested in. The one with the boobs and vagina she pretends to hide under skin tight shiny top and short tight skirt or pants that leave nothing to speculate about...Then they get up to dance and shake their thang... Just like in that famous Prince song, you know the one? You sexy m....f..., Go shakes that a..." Etc etc. So funny to watch all this. Not many jobs where you can be entertained as you get paid. Bar tending, hospitality and playing/singing in bands in such bars and clubs is one of these. Sure beats working in an office in front of a computer screen all day, getting stressed and bored shitless.

I was in Masai Mara and it’s another world, seeing the lion just walking in front of you, or going to hunt early in the morning, it’s incredible, we even saw a lion hide in some bushes to take a nap (we knew the lion was there and we spent 1 hour looking for it, until we saw him go out and we followed him until he went back again)

I followed him and Blackie for a long time, and guides/rangers name the lions based on their appearance, their territory or the area they were first spotted. Lipstick is a very famous lion and he owns that name. He sadly passed away, so would be nice if you could show some respect. A name can never take away their power. I’m sure you realize how ignorant it is for you to say that.

El Stevo 229 They’re brothers from the 4KM coalition. Originally 4 brothers. Lipstick passed away in May 2018, and after this his brother Blackie disappeared. As a duo they did really well and left behind a big legacy.
