Because he realised he's never going to convince them Cartman is faking it and so he does the right thing by swallowing his pride and apologising anyway. Very mature of Kyle.
@@ctpp64 It's maturity regarding him handling the situation with the tourette's kids, who are clearly sensitive to being mocked, not with having them believe the truth of Cartman faking it.
As someone with Tourette's, I adore this episode. It's very respectful and toned down, and it feels like the writers tracked down some people was TS and actually spoke to them, had them describe this stupid, humiliating condition honestly. The one thing I don't like is the counselor, but I have a feeling he was supposed to be like that, less interested in helping the kids and more interested in bullying a defenseless child and dressing it up as virtue because he's 'helping'. Actually, maybe that's why he sided so hard with Cartman, their the same type of person.
This is hilarious, I was dying laughing and at the same time the writers got me to feel empathy for the kid who can't stop swearing. Excellent execution.
I love how this scene actually did teach Kyle an important lesson in the end. He went from resenting Cartman for trying to get away with things to utterly hating him for making a mockery of these people.
This..is actually heartwarming. I have a tic with my diaphragm that makes me sound like im choking and it stops my breathing, among a few other tics that have their own annoyances. Kinda nice to see South Park acknowledge tourettes as other than shouting swear words. Cause it sucks. Like a lot. But yeah it can be fun to laugh at the mythical swearing case of tourettes. Cause its funny. Still sucks
Out of character because I don’t feel like switching to my personal acc: This episode genuinely made me cry- as someone who struggles with tics, and has a few of the tics here, such as the neck jerk and snaps, the “boop!” thing, along with other words that come out in the same way (including quotes from shows and movies I love, and a few swear words), but just knowing that we get representation like this- it makes me feel better about my tics- It makes me feel heard, seen, and noticed as a PERSON- It makes me feel so valid-
I love that the tourettes foundation was happy that they were depicted accurately and praised the episode
Of course the only contention they really had was how overly exhaggerated the swearing tic for Tourette's was, given it's actually very rare.

😂😂😂Same
I liked how at the end Kyle legitimately felt bad for everyone and apologized
Because he realised he's never going to convince them Cartman is faking it and so he does the right thing by swallowing his pride and apologising anyway. Very mature of Kyle.
@@MrDHWong1989 I fee bad because cartman was actually faking it, its kinda sad
Then Cartman actually developed Tourette syndrome
@@MrDHWong1989 that's not maturity, that's everyone getting fooled by cartman
@@ctpp64 It's maturity regarding him handling the situation with the tourette's kids, who are clearly sensitive to being mocked, not with having them believe the truth of Cartman faking it.
South Park is capable of making me laugh and then cry within the same minute.
i remember staying up at 2 in the morning watching south park re runs😔
“A lot of times I know that my mom would be better off if I was dead” woah

My mom was right there when the guy started screaming “PISS COMING FROM MY ASS”
😂😂😂😂😂😂@@bellissima-lz5ci
I'm crackin' up and 69th like
The piss coming from my ass part always gets me
As someone with Tourette's, I adore this episode.
1:05 I like how freaked out kyle looked
The little girl going boop makes me so happppppy
Everyone on tiktok who’s faking their tourettes should definitely watch this video
The finger snap/head shake girl is the best
Has Tourette’s from age 5 - 18. Was one of the lucky ones to mostly grow out of it. Was incredibly challenging.
This is hilarious, I was dying laughing and at the same time the writers got me to feel empathy for the kid who can't stop swearing.
Excellent execution.
The girl’s boop tic is really cute lol ❤

2:02 Kyle casually talking to Kyle. Because Matt Stone clearly does both voices... yet he’s using his Kyle voice for both characters.
I remember watching this episode when I was a kid and the piss guy literally made me cry from laughing

The boop one is really cute >_
Shut the fuck up
*PIIIISSSS COMING FROM MY AAAASSSS* gets me dying 😂😂
The finger snap to end the clip is cinematic perfection.
Thomas and the Boop girl are so cute aww 🥺
Thomas looks like Tweek when i first watched this episode i thought it was Tweek cause he looks like him he's so cute 😭😭😭
As a person with tourettes, I can say this is actually kind of accurate.
I love the way Mr. Donaldson screams “ASS!” 😂
I love how this scene actually did teach Kyle an important lesson in the end. He went from resenting Cartman for trying to get away with things to utterly hating him for making a mockery of these people.
1:29 Love her!
Same. I have her Vocal tic that makes her go Boop. Her tic makes me Boop right along with her
This..is actually heartwarming.
Still sucks
I feel so bad laughing but this is one of the funniest things I've seen in South Park lol!
I don’t know if I should laugh, it’s so edgy lol
"Nobody wants this illness"
Teens from tiktok: Umm...
The neck bending and snapping is fecking ADORABLE!
It's amazing how a scene like this can be hilarious, sad, and informative all at the same time. Peak South Park.
That girl that "oop"s is absolutely adorable
Out of character because I don’t feel like switching to my personal acc: This episode genuinely made me cry- as someone who struggles with tics, and has a few of the tics here, such as the neck jerk and snaps, the “boop!” thing, along with other words that come out in the same way (including quotes from shows and movies I love, and a few swear words), but just knowing that we get representation like this- it makes me feel better about my tics- It makes me feel heard, seen, and noticed as a PERSON- It makes me feel so valid-
The finger snapping girl gets me
The "boop!" girl and finger snapping girl are so cute!
1:38 BAHAHA IM NOT MAKING FUN OF TICS BUT THIS EPISODE I CANT
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
"ASS! PISS IN THE ASS!"
