    I love your videos! You both are so personable and the videography is top-notch. I would love to see a behind the scenes of your equipment and how you use it. I look forward to seeing more. Thanks.

      The " behind the scenes" is so not glamorous. It's mostly my wife just yelling at me. 🙄
      I'm kidding . Mostly. I hope to start incorporating some of that in future videos. I really appreciate you watching, and thank you for the kind words, it really motivates us to up our game.
      Big plans for 2021. Hope you stay tuned. 👍

    Hello,
    We've been watching ever since you got the Maverick trail and have gone back and watched them many times and I feel this is your best video. You both are enjoying your time on the 89 and other trails. The music is perfect and is information spot on! We have a Maverick XRC 64 inch wide machine we take to Arizona for the winter. Now we're thinking about adding a Trail model this year so we can come enjoy all the 50 inch trails you've taken us on with your videos.

    • @MyATVlife

      We just love the 50 inch trails. There really aren't many compared to the number of 60 inch plus trails out there, but all of our favorites are 50 inch trails. We rode this area for a few years on ATVs and fell in love with the 50 inch trails. When it was time for a SXS, 50 inch was the way to go for us. We wanted to continue to enjoy our favorites.
      P.S. this is one of my favorite videos too. We had a lot of fun that day. Was a very long day, but still a lot of fun. Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for watching and hanging out with us. We really appreciate it.

    Thanks for the video will definitely check out those trails. Hook onto the trees with your side-by-side to pull them out of the way saves on cutting :-)

  • @utahwanderlust700
    @utahwanderlust700 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I don't know how many times I've told people to bring a way to cut and move wood out of the way. I've been on the trail twice when I had a wind storm knock trees down in front if me and behind me. If I didn't have a saw, I would've been in trouble.
    Things every ohv should have:
    Saw
    Winch
    Tire kit with air
    Great video as always!👍

    • @MyATVlife
      @MyATVlife  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We've cut our way through some pretty serious stuff with that little hand saw. Chainsaw would be easier, for sure, but yes, at least carry a hand saw. That little thing has served us well over the years.
      Thanks for watching !

      The Wolverine is an amazing machine, no doubt, but we love our 50 inch trails, and just didn't want to be limited on where we could go with a wider machine. The bigger, wider machines ride better and most are more comfortable, but we were more than willing to make the "sacrifice" to stay at 50 inches.
      Thanks for watching ! We appreciate the kind words.

    I think this is your best video so far Jason, and Suzanne. You really make the person watching feel that their on the trail. My excitement is over the top as I write this, since I’m moving to Kanab in less than three weeks! I’ve lived in Illinois all my life, and soon I will live out my dream in the beautiful southwest part of the country. Question; Is this a loop you take from where you started? Or do you just turn around and go back the same way? Maybe a silly question, but I guess you learn more about the Paiute trail system the more you ride it. Anyways, thanks for the superb video, you’ve both helped me make decisions on certain things, being machines and accessories that will help me enjoy my time out west...😊

    • @MyATVlife
      @MyATVlife  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for Watching. This trail is in a place on the Paiute that makes things easy to make a loop. This trail (for us) is usually a small piece of a big loop.

    You make great videos. What box is in your rack?. Are you going to circleville this spring again

    • @MyATVlife
      @MyATVlife  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No plans currently to go to Circleville, but we'll see how things look in a few months.
      The box on top of the rack is just an old Ogio/Polaris semi-rigid cargo bag. Nothing fancy. We need the extra room when we carry all of our camera crap, and it works well for that. It was something I already had, so it didn't cost me anything.
      We appreciate the kind words, and thanks for watching. 👍

    I enjoyed watching your video. It is nice to be able to take in the scenery and not just get a blur of high speed riding that so many people post.
    I am planing to move back to Idaho this summer in the Boise area. I am also wanting to get a new ATV this summer and am debating between getting the Polaris XP 1000 and the 1000 S which is Polaris new 55 inch machine. I’m new to this kind of recreation so I don’t really know first hand for myself. So in your opinion aside from the Paiute trail system how much riding opportunities would I lose out on if I went with the 55 inch instead of the 48 inch Polaris?
    By the way the Paiute trails are on my bucket list of trails to do some day mostly because of watching your videos. Thanks

    • @MyATVlife
      @MyATVlife  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Utah, southern Idaho and Colorado are places I know of that have 50 inch gates. We're really always been about the 50 inch trails, but really they only make up a small percentage of the trails here. Still all of my favorites have been 50 inch. You'll still have plenty of riding opportunities, but you'll miss some really great stuff too. Being 50 inches allows you to experience them all. 👍

    Hey guys, great video! Just curious, how wide is the Maverick trail exactly? The 50” Polaris trail is 51.5 in the front and 50 in the rear stock. We make it through all the 50” gates but no room to spare. Have you ever measure the width to see how wide they are?

    • @MyATVlife
      @MyATVlife  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My MT is 51.5 front and 51 rear. Never measured a gate, but I can make it through 99.9% of the gates I've found

    Have you ever ridden these trails earlier in the year? If so what are the + & - .

    • @MyATVlife
      @MyATVlife  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      We've been there in June several times. Most of the trails are open by then, but some of the upper passes don't open until mid July.

    • @idahoblessing
      @idahoblessing 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Of course. I wasn't thinking of the high country still being snowed in. 😣

    • @MyATVlife
      @MyATVlife  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on the year really. I've been over the high passes in June. I've seen other years where they had to plow the snow in August to clear the passes. Even on a heavy snow year 90% of the trails are still open in June. Lots of riding available early in the year. 👍

    its a black diamond, what makes it black diamond and how difficult was it to do on our Maverick Trail? Thank you.

    • @MyATVlife
      @MyATVlife  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The black diamond is just a designation of how difficult a trail is compared to others in the same area. "Green" is very easy, "blue" is not as easy as green and "black" is not as easy as blue. There are parts of this trail that are tricky, but none of it is really that bad. Easily doable in a Maverick Trail.

    Hi.
    So some of us are heading down to ride this trail number 89 this Saturday 10/14 but none of us have ever been to the Paiute.
    Not sure how we would find it.
    Went searching through some maps without much luck.

    Are a lot of the trails in that area 50" trails?

    • @MyATVlife
      @MyATVlife  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've heard that about 10% of the Paiute Trails are 50 inch. I have no way to prove or disprove that, but I'd say it's pretty accurate. There are a few 60 inch trails here and there, but the vast majority of the trails are over 60 inches (roads).
      BUT all of our favorites are 50 inch. 👍
