I've watched many Mav Trail videos during the last three years and this is absolutely the best one yet. Firstly, the music is pleasant to listen to, not too loud.!.!.! Secondly, the pace at which you were riding was not so very slow and boaring. 😊. Thirdly, the scenery is fantastic...
Thank you so much and keep on sharing those wonderful videos..
    From South Africa... 😎👍🏻

You were right . . . this is certainly a special video dealing with the weather, etc. I've ridden in this area a bunch and it is truly the mecca of trail riding. Another great job Jason & Suzanne!

Thanks Reed ! Stay tuned for part 2 of this day. My wife likes part 2 better than this one, but she's my toughest critic. 🤣
It'll be up Sunday morning (2/20)

Love your videos. My wife and I are 50 inch people, and like your videos we ride don’t rip. So refreshing to watch 50 inch machines riding at a reasonable speed and enjoying the scenery. Keep the videos coming, really enjoy them.

      Thank You !
We didn't come all this way to find out how fast we can get from point A to point B. We came here to see the scenery. 👍
I do like going fast, don't get me wrong, but I have other toys and other places for those. We bought a 50 inch machine to see these amazing trails and amazing places, plus we're getting old 🤣
      Thanks For Watching !

We did this same ride in June and right before the summit we came upon a four foot deep and ten foot long snow drift. We had no shovels so we had to turn around five vehicles on the side of the mountain. Then we found and old alternate trail and made it around the snow drift and made it to the top.

I've loved this series, but this was a really cool (literally?!) ride with the snow! Beautiful stuff!! I hope to get down there and ride the system this year! Kinda wish I had a SxS, but my Outlander will have to do for now! Thanks for sharing these!!

We did many miles on the Paiute with our ATVs before we got our SXS. Some days I even miss riding my ATV down there.
      You'll love it. 👍

Thank You ! This week it was all Maverick Trails. We all belong to a Maverick Trail Facebook group, that's where most all of us met. Some of these guys I've known for several years. It's not often we can get together and ride like this just because of how far apart we live, so we try to take advantage of every opportunity we have 👍

How long did the trip take to get to Barney Lake on this beautiful snowy day? If you go round trip to Barney Lake and back down the south side (maybe on the 02, I think), how long is the round trip excursion? Your videos are really great. Thank you for the time and effort you put into creating them!

Thank You for taking the time to watch them ! Thank You. I'd say it took (maybe) an hour from town. Some BSing along the way too. On an normal weather day it probably takes 45 minutes (ish). Going back down on the 01 and the 02 takes about 45 minutes too. Almost the same amount of time, but almost twice as many miles. That's usually how we do it cuz going down the Barney Lake Trail kinda sucks. if I remember right its about 14 miles up the BL trail from town, and 22 or 24 miles back to town on the 01 and 02.
Back in the day, we used to get up early on our last morning on the Paiute and take our coffee and muffins up and have breakfast at Barney Lake. Up the BL trail and down the 01 and 02. That whole ride took about two hours with about 30 minutes of it sitting at Barney Lake.

I've noticed you have some little mud flaps on the back of your Maverick Trail. I really like how they look and that they keep you under 50". I've been looking and can't seem to find any that style. Can you tell me what they are and were to find them? I am also looking for something similar for the front. I've notice at speeds above 25mph I run into the mud thrown from the front tires. I think the front fenders were designed just a few inches too short. I don't see anything on your front end for this but maybe I've missed it. Any help would be useful. And by the way I love your videos. They are very well done and informative. I also love the Paiute trail and find myself saying "I know that rock. I know that tree." Thanks. Tim

      Thanks for watching !
We got those mudflaps at our local Oreillys here in town. We put the same one on TJ's machine last year, so they were available then, can't say they're still available now. I can't remember the brand, but it's just a generic mudflap. I'll put a link to the video I did about them here. I've never really needed anything for the front. Maybe times they would be handy, but not really necessary for me. It does get the front of the machine pretty muddy, but it never really makes its way into the passenger compartment. If it gets too gnarly I just slow down a bit. I know people who have added some to the front with different levels of success.
