- The Maasai tribe is probably on of the most unique African Tribe. Visiting a Maasai Village is definitely one of the most special experience you can get in Kenya, Africa.

Located in the Maasai Mara, this village has over 200 residents and a school that gets around 3000 students from all the Maasai village in the area.
We danced with the Maasai, made fire and visiting their houses opening our eyes on a different culture and a different way of life.

Fun fact: The maasai people actually build there houses out of cow dung mixed with a little bit of sand and wood, it's very economical for them since every material is readily available. Ooh and at times also they can paint their houses with red ochre especially during festive times.

Watched you in Tuko news and I just cried out of joy, we love your positive attitude and the nice ways you criticize something, that's the way to correct Kenyans because Africans have been called bad names for ages by the westerners and they tend to be sensitive this days, but you guys are changing the narrative. U should know maasais of Kenya is the only tribe in Kenya that has 90%reserved their culture and traditions ❤️even the learned ones when theit go back to their villagers their will be the same as villagers, nowadays majority are slowly crossing civilization world, by education, building modern homes

You can never separate masaai from nature, they've co_existed for ages and they refuse to let go of their culture and identity.. They are happy contented. With their lives.. Healthy way of living..

I completely agree with what you were saying about buying souvenirs/entry fee....I lived in Tanzania for a year and used to get so annoyed when Westerners would complain about this or having to pay a higher fee for things - it's such a small price for us and a luxury, but for them it can go a long way and help with essentials like food and medicine - even if the money does just go to one individual, the money will then trickle down when they spend it and help others. We exploit Africa in so many ways and have done for hundreds of years - let's make tourism in Africa an example of fair trade! I hope that tourism in other parts of Africa can grow as it has done in Kenya and Tanzania *end of speech* ;)
