    Loved this analysis Uberboyo. I wish you could expand more on the western guilt psychology by reflecting onto Christianity.
    My basic understanding of the religion is that you start by admitting that you are a sinner and you need to ask Jesus for salvation.
    I was born Muslim, and I went deep into the rabbit whole in my teenage years. I pretty much discarded Christianity because of the guilt and the sinner elements in its prayers. Muslims ask God for forgiveness too but it is not as guilt centric as Christianity.

    • @uberboyo
      @uberboyo  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I will, Christianity is very sophisticated in how it deals with guilt - Nietzsche sees the bad side, which is a great critique - but people inspried by Rene Girard sees the good side!

      @@uberboyo Thanks man !
      I wish you good luck with the video.
      I don't want to turn it into Islam vs Christianity but, I thought it is interesting to compare both rituals of Baptism in Christianity and "Shahada" in Islam (and maybe others).
      Trying to be short on words here: the baptism symbolism is water cleaning sins and accepting Christ's way. Shahada is more of an oath/declaration that you completely believe in Mohamed and Allah, serve Allah and consider Mohamed as an Idol. Majority of Muslims believe God is a Forgiver, they might get burned in hell for some sins but since they believe in Allah and don't do the Big Harams they will go to Heaven eventually after getting few grills in Jahannam. On the other hand I feel Christianity is more rigid on this, it reflects a mentality of self-shame, either complete devotion or sinner, there is no in between.
      This is my humble take on this, I am looking forward for your uploads.
      Cheers []~( ̄▽ ̄)~*

    • @bobSeigar
      @bobSeigar ปีที่แล้ว

      Small correction in your understanding sir.
      Christians do not need to ask Jesus for Salvation, you are just supposed to understand that you already have it, and to Glorify 'Him' (God) for giving it. Giving thanks for freedom, as opposed to asking for it.

      @@uberboyo what do you think about this? I think it’s possible that if we could diagnose our country’s situation with an archetypal character and cross reference it with the stories in mythology, we could have internet influencers direct society towards a good outcome by using the imagery and symbols inspired by mythologies that turned out as comedies instead of tragedies. We could basically do what Hollywood already does with their propaganda and meme magic but ours would be medicinal and clarifying rather than being manipulative. Have you thought much about that?
      It would be great to use Jungian Analytical Depth psychology to diagnose the mythical forces influencing all the countries around the world and treat them by navigating society through a mythologically correct narrative that would grant perpetual social homeostasis on earth.
      The key is to scale up and apply only the myths that contain the power of the philosopher’s stone and immortality and those that are synergistic with eachother. You could conceivably have two separate myths that lead to perpetual motion or a ceasing of the dynastic cycle on a local level but that are in stark disagreement with each-other on a global level.
      So it’s probably a complex enough problem that AI would be helpful to synergize all the perennial myths and create peace between all the religions.
      Perhaps Jung’s discussions with Wolfgang Pauli were on to something about the possibility that archetypes and the laws of the universe are isomorphs of eachother, as in a dual-aspect monism perspective. If the universe is eternal that implies there is an archetypal myth that is also eternal. So therefore we ought to become aware of that and align with it if we want to last.
      We have no idea how far the hermetic principle of correspondence goes on a symbolic level. What if the problems in America are analogous to a medical disease we know the cure for which can also be applied at the symbolic level? Or having the knowledge of the eternal myth makes you a Hermes Trismagistus in that having knowledge of the perfectly sustainable myth and philosophy also might cure and prevent cancer. That’s my riff on the matter anyway.

    No matter what bad situation you're in, if you're alive and have your health, you can find a way to make it better for yourself and society. I am a transladyman, and used to have a deep sense of guilt and shame for my very existence. Therapy helped me significantly. Essentially being treated as though I had value. You are all soooo valid.

      @@dustinninblack musk is seen as a paragon of innovation, single handedly fighting woke culture. he is the exact opposite. all he does is refine old technologies, but he invents nothing new, even if he is in the position to pay for the best brains ever. that is not innovation. it's just prolonging the state of affairs as it is, and current industrialists love him for that.
      also the corporations are not victims of diversity hire and wokeism, the are the perpetrators. bezos and musk could clean their companies with one fell swoop, but they don't. the truth is that this hiring policy is incentivized. it actually pays for itself. i'm afraid i lost the link to an article explaining just this.
      musk could do something about this. he owns twitter, he could clean his companies and hire based on merit, yet he doesn't.

    Maybe Nietzsche was better, as Freud. Albeit some decades earlier and for that in a diferent society. So, diferent philosophy about being human.
    And the other thing is, that Nietzsche has payed for his incredible work. Or because there was a cause of his genius, then he worked hard, but then he declined rapidly. Because of th ecause of his Genius. There is one.

    My videos are free to copy though, but I guess every follower knows that we are on different platforms for a reason. But banning paying subscribers for a week - How is that good Twitter business?!? Let Elon Musk know before it happens to you.
    I've run social media for 21 years, and I know these week or month long bans only make it worse for everyone. I explained in my last video. 24 hour bans are OK, but a week for someone who uploads content?!? Elon doesn't get this.

    So I really agree with your videos and most everything that you say, but I do disagree with you on some things. First and least so far among things is your take on the quarantine. I do agree with you that we should think outside the box and not necessarily take sociatle norm as truth, but the idea of the quarantine isn't to distill your freedom, but to ensure others. Or in other words its not to prevent you from getting sick, but from others getting sick, possibly from you. That and I mean, I feel like a lot of people got some stuff done and learned something about themselves through the pandemic, I know I did. And the other thing I disagree with you on is the idea of the sheep and the wolf, and you calling the wolf the ubermence and the highest form of consciousness, when that's flat out wrong. Sure the wolf is more conscious then the sheep, but the shepard is even higher then that. The wolf is the lion in the evolution of Nietzsche's life cycle, but after that comes the child, the shepard, the one who can tame both the sheep as well as the wolf. The one who also contains the ability to destroy past ideals, but also has the capability of forming new ones, new ideas, and that's something the wolf, or the lion isn't capable of.
