How many meters in the ground do these machines work

Got one up in Canada and found it was very chattery . Not sure if ground I am detecting or what.....upgraded from a BH Discovery 2200 so bit of a learning curve. Thoughts?
So far lots of bottle caps, pull tabs and pennies. Nothing old or silver yet :(

Try a lower sensitivity setting. Like 50 or 60. this should quiet it down. Or you may need to change the frequency until you find the most stable one. Let me know if the chattery problem persists

3 things to try are 1 Lower your sensitivity down. I- run it at 60 to 75 most of the time. 2- move you frequency up or down incase its semi causing the chattiness. 3- go to a higher Ground balance. Make sure you don't have the FeSen turned on, it will make it chatty also. Hope this helps.

If you are finding that stuff then you are just not putting the coil over the good stuff.

The 12 Hz Nokia Simplex at a cost of $254 will detect a dime at 13 to 14 inches, the 7.5 Hz X10 performs much better for less than $200 lol.

So nice seeing you both speaking about this detector! I'm one of the few in Chile that has it and its an amazing detector! I've already paid half of it's price just finding modern coins in 3 months
