It’s fun to see people get introduced to music that they’ve never been exposed to before. Hundreds of years from now now people will still be loving the Beatles.
My head still wants to hear this song immediately following Sgt Peppers like the way it was played on the radio. I wish CD's had the option to hear combo songs played consecutively as a single song.
From the Sergeant Pepper's album, the single vinyl LP that changed the course of music going forward. I was around before and after this recording. The creative output of the Fab Four over a few short years was, and still is, phenominal.
Ringo sings this one... The Beatles did the famous rooftop concert during the making of Let It Be album... 1969! Some great performances on the rooftop... Check it out!
Ringo seemed to have more female fans than the other three put together, at least the first half of the Beatles lifespan, so they had to have him sing the lead on a song on every album.
Haha.. yes.. I have.. but the BULK of the songs written for the Beatles were done by Lennon/McCartney. George WANTED to write more, but the "machine" in place wouldn't let him. In my honest opinion, I feel like George's output PAST The Beatles might be the "best". But WHILE in the group, his output was stifled.
@@aprilstewart5929 YUP. George was probably the most talented Beatle. I mean... just listen to Oh Sweet Lord and tell me he isn't. He was just stifled by Paul and John at every turn. He got some songs on their later albums, but he wasn't given a chance to really shine until he left the band and went off on his own.
Basically, she listened to Now That's What I Call Music cds. Her parents listened to early Beatles... but nothing like this. Britney Spears, N'Sync, Backstreet Boys... that was what she listened to. Yikes, I know. I mean up until a few years ago, she thought the pinnacle of rock was Nickleback!!!
@@aviewfromthestage nsync and backstreet boys werent even real music groups, they couldnt play music and needed a band behind them to play the music for them. same with britney she lacked the talent to be a musician.nickleback plays music i believe, but i dont like their music.i only listen to people in music that can play music.
@@sammybeck7794 I appreciate your passion! But I do know about music, I just don't know much about The Beatles or anything else Rob has showed me. But I grew up in the 90s... where Backstreet Boys and NSync were all the rage 😂 I'm glad to finally get to know good music (not the garbage I grew up with).
So, like, if I didn’t know Spanish I shouldn’t be allowed to go to Spain and share my thoughts? Don’t know anything about astronomy and can’t comment on the night sky? What the hells wrong with you people?
Okay there guy. I'm not "making things up". I have seen you comment on everything that we have posted. They had a love-hate relationship, LIKE ALL GOOD FRIENDS DO, who are in a band together. I'm not saying they wanted to kill each other... geez
@@aviewfromthestage you said "most acrimonious", not love-hate. John and Paul were very close indeed for most of the time the Beatles were together. This is all well documented. They wrote most of their songs together for the first half of The Beatles' existence. They even went on a mysterious trip to Paris together, before the Beatles became famous. It was during the White Album sessions, and especially after Brian Epstein's death and Yoko's arrival, that distance began to develop. And that was mainly around John, and Ringo, and George's increasing disillusion about the way the business was being managed and about being in The Beatles at all. You have consistently claimed that they were at each others' throats from day one. It is not true. I could accept "most acrimonious" if you were talking about the White album, or Let It Be - and as you can see from the film Get Back, they were not particularly acrimonious, even then.
I think you are reading WAY too much into my thoughts. I never said they were "at each other's throats". And on top of that, I'm not a crazy fan! I LIKE the band, but I am not a HUGE fan as you seem to be. Correct what needs to be corrected and that is the end of it. That is what comments sections are for. And LOVE the fact that Steph is enjoying the song. That's what is crazy to me. Is that you're so caught up on the words I am saying, regardless of the validity to it. And on top of ALL of that you are forgetting that I am opening up her world to new (old) music. Let her explore the world on her own dude! We, most assuredly, know that we will get stuff wrong. But you come at me with so much vitriol and anger that it takes away from the joy that I am having by introducing her to this music.
@@aviewfromthestage There is nothing vitriolic in asking you to stop making things up and it is a simple fact that you are. Given that you are not a huge fan, when Steph asks you a question, why not say "I don't know." That would be an honest response and would invite helpful comments from your viewers. And you cannot get away with asking me to let Steph explore the world on her own, when you are posting the discoveries on TH-cam.

How does one avoid hearing any Beatles for one's entire life?? Incredible!
Cmon..everybody have heard this song...The Beatles are still everywhere..even children are exposed to their music.
Not me! Never heard it until this.

The Beatles are the biggest rock and roll band in the world and they have sold more albums than anyone else has...fact
The last Beatle's song performed live was Get back on the roof of the apple offices.
love all Beatles songs.
Hi there. You could tell also that Ringo Starr beside singing it ,he's also Billy Shears.
Ringo is Billy Shears??? Billy Shears replace McCartney after Paul's fabricated death.

There is the line "What do you see when you turn out the light, I can't tell you but I know it's mine", so it does have a slight bit of mystery to it.
Saw sir Paul Dallas 2002. Saw Ringo Starr Oklahoma 2023.
As hard as it may be to believe, there are people who don’t know much (or anything) about the Beatles.
The Beatles the greatest ! 🇬🇧❤️👏🏻😍😍🤙🏻

Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band/With a Little Help From My Friends..

Jetzt hat sie es! Mit ein bisschen Hilfe von ihrem Freund!❤😂
That song followed by Obli-Di Obli-Da.
Yeh, Joe Cocker heard this and said, "Hold my beer..."
The last concert should be at the Candlestick park 1966?68?
August of 66!!!
Cocker took a pop song and made it a blues song.
He did a HELL of a job with this one...
That's Rocky Racoon, not Ricky Racoon....
