I like Hasbro's Beyblades. I like Hasbro i just dont like their dinosaurs
To be fair, Hasbro can definitely make good toys. I mean, every Transformer I've ever touched from this decade has ranged from pretty good to perfect.
And I suppose they put that same level of effort into other licenses like Marvel or Star Wars. Just not Jurassic World.
when i was a kid i HATED toys with sounds. my mom had to remove the batteries and stuff like that or else i wouldnt play with it.
The only time I take out the batteries is when the sounds don't work, like my pachyrhinosaurus sinoceratops, it's roars didn't play, so I took them out. Same with baryonyx but it's roars got cut off.
I have sensory processing disorder, so they always made me burst into tears and have a panic attack or a meltdown as a kid. I agree with the Beaver, give up sounds and hard plastic for rubber and pretty paint. Another bonus, rubber feels more real. “Attacks” actually indent the “skin” and you can see more things happening in your play fights.

Best thing the Mattel line has other than extremely good sculpts is the scale accuracy, like you dont have a Parasaur and a raptor at the same size

Honestly fine with hard plastic, fine with soft rubber. If there actually is a REAL perfect middleground, it would be the 2k9 Bull Tyrannosaurus, given it has just the right amount of both hard plastic and rubber. It just so happens to be my favorite JPtoy as well, though I understand people would probably want a more naturalistic Tyrannosaur paintjob.

16:26 To be honest, i was never a huge fan of electronics in toys. Don't get me wrong, they can be really cool and add something to the toy, but i always prefered toys to be durable. And with electronics, you lose a lot of durability.
Maybe it's because i used to put my toys into water and stuff, which is something you can't really do with electronics, but i'm just a huge fan of solid but flexible toys (like the thrasher T.rex)

SAME!! I am more of a full-of-joints and "press a button on the back for it to bite" fan, but electronics aren't durable, have a lot of cons and just make the toy more expensive (and since I don't live in America the toys from there are already overpriced), so seeing that they made the new t-rex mask (from Dominion) have electronics such as sound made me quite sad.
I like electronics in toys because ITS SO FREAKING ANNOYING TRYING TO MAKE THE NOISES YOURSELF!! also, what does putting toys that aren’t water toys in water have to do with this? There is such thing as non-waterproof toys. (The amount of toys like that: ALOT)
@@JuliRocket Of course there are a lot of waterproof toys. As soon as there is no electronic in it you can put it in water without destroying it. I come from a generation where almost every toy had no electronic in it and everything was just hard Rubber. Perfect for the bath tub.

Honestly, the electronic part was cool back then, but for a slightly better paint job and the rubber feature you mentioned, it would be worth the price increase. Good review Beaver, hope your doing well, stay safe and keep up your awesome content.

So, I was a kid when Jurassic Park 3 came out and I always preferred the hard plastic then the rubber dinosaurs. The rubber dinosaurs I had always got dirty and it would feel weird to touch as the years went by. I also just dug out my old toys from storage. The hard plastic ones stood the test of time while the rubber ones got distorted and bent around. I think people side with the toys that came out with whichever movie they grew up with. Also I dont think Beaver knew about the amber line coming out when he was making this.
