Soldier: Flying
Pyro: Fire
Demoman: Fighting
Heavy: Fairy
Engineer: Steel
Medic: Poison
Sniper: Normal
Spy: Ghost
Sad nobody loves rock
@@nicolala7132 maybe some blu team mercs would like the other types, like the blue scout enjoying electric, so thats kind of a universal constant, blue demoman on the other hand, he would like rock types because of Rock spike and smack down to knock flying types out of the air, like how an actual demo can do that with pipes if they’re a pipe god, blue pyro would still like fire types, and would have a charmander like red pyro, blue medic would enjoy psychic types, because of their high special attack power, blue heavy? Dragons, they’re very tough against everything else except for themselves and fairy and bug types, blue spy would go for ice types, sure they dont have the best stats but he runs a spycicle so the freeze effect would be enjoyable, plus frost cloak makes them hard to hit, blue soldier would go for grass types, since they’re pretty fast… somehow, blue sniper would like a water team because he probably supports his team with extingushing fire on them (with piss of course, but still.
@@nicolala7132 or Ground.
i feel like sniper would be a dark type
@@thenewbrexwashere8379i feel The Administrator is a Dark type user due to it being called the Evil type.
BLU team's choices:
Scout: Grass
Soldier: Bug
Pyro: Dragon
Demoman: Water
Heavy: Rock
Engineer: Ground
Medic: Psychic
Sniper: Dark
Spy: Ice
Clever!
Scout: Well I still have Eelektross line! Unlike any other pokemon, these guys have no weaknesses!
Medic: Well my Weezing has the Neutralizing Gas Ability, which negates your Elektross's Levitate ability, meaning that it does in fact still have a weakness!
Spy: I can use a Pokémon with Mold Breaker!
Medic: And even if my Weezing goes down, my poison types can negate Levitate on your Eelektross with gastro acid!
Me sitting here with my Aegislash from Gen 6: If you have a health bar, you have a weakness
Soldier: Hey Merasmus, out of curiosity what is your favorite pokemon type?
Merasmus: Well actually, I'm more into Digimo- *market garden crit sounds*
no offense to any Digimon fans out there
I thought he would like either psychic or dark types
for their teams if they had 6 Pokémon here is what I would give them.
Scout: Zebstrika, Electivire, Elektross, Boltund, Heliolisk, and an ace Pikachu.
Soldier: Noivern, Corvikinght, Pidgeot, Aerodactyl, Gyarados, and an ace Braviary.
Pyro: Ninetails (Kanto Form), Magmortar, Talonflame, Turtonator, Arcanine (Kanto Form), and an ace Centiskorch.
Demoman: Hitmonlee, Hariyama, Lucario, Hawlucha, Crabominable, and an ace Machamp.
Heavy: Sylveon, Togekiss, Tinkaton, Rapidash (Galarian Form), Grimmsnarl, and an ace Gardevoir.
Engineer: Klinklang, Copperajah, Perrserker, Steelix, Metagross, and an ace Magnezone.
Medic: Seviper, Nidoking, Crobat, Drapion, Toxicroak, and an ace Salazzle.
Sniper: Ditto, Snorlax, Bouffalant, Dubwool, Oranguru, and an ace Tauros (Kanto Form).
Spy: Dusknoir, Drifblim, Chandelure, Trevenant, Dhelmise, and an ace Gengar.
….Fairy+Steel.
Fucking best combination.
Fire: Am I a joke to you?
Dragon: Pfft. Ameturs.
Normal (multi type learners): `~` -~- '~'
Objectively
Fairy, dragon, water and steel are definitely top 4
@@jmurray1110 i respect that, but may I state my own opinion on this peacefully here?
I'm okay with Water Types, but I find pokemon like Wooper and it's evolution (Water-Ground) pretty easy to demolish. Also, Vaporeon is just easy to counter with Grass types being common. Do not get me started on the fandom for that pokemon.
Fairy types just.. Feel off to me. I think it's the lack of attack.
Dragon and Steel are definitely great types with a lack of weaknesses, putting the 2 together makes a practical seige and defense fortress.
I had a Dunsparce as my main and LET ME BLOODY INFORM YOU!
Despite their all round stats and assumptions of not being able to do major damage, a single Dunsparce can learn nearly half the types as moves and still survive a punting with it's naturally raised defense.
Drill Run, a Ground Type excellent for signature strikes.
Skitter Smack, a Bug Type for finishing off the job against weak wild pokemon.
Shadow Ball, a Ghost Type, just to really say "あなたをファック" to actual Ghost types.
Theres a few more I can list, but what I am trying to get at is:
Normal types are the most potent to learn many types of moves to be as tough to truly know for moves as possible while having (mostly) all round stats. Since their only weakness is Fighting, it is quite possible to go up against almost any regional Gym with only a team of Dunsparces and still win. Having many learnable types of moves, even if sometimes with the TMs, makes this type as a whole, very all rounded.
Even if status effects are a bit of a bugger, you can draw out the match with heals until the enemy runs out of PP for their paralysis attacks.
While they generally miss out on special forms and get healing moves in cases like Gigamax Eevee, even having something that would take a few hits from 16 types without Super Effective popping up is vital, at least in my eyes.
This was my rant. Place your controversies in the comments of this, I'll be happy to listen.
Edit: Lavender Town isn't creepy.
The edit is more of a controversy than the rant.
@@aesiro1336 lavender town is overrated for creepy themes. It's just a sad theme for a ghost town.
You can say what you want about ghosts possessing the Lavender Tower people, but that's barely even touching true creepiness.
Try N's Room from Black2 White2 or Abandoned Thrifty Megamart from Ultra Sun/Moon. Those actually have reason as to why they are creepy, unlike Lavended Town, which got overrated because "oo dead beings possessing humans and japanese kids going missing to this theme" or whatever it was.
N's Room sounds wild, dissoriented, even a prison to some extent, yet it feels like you heed to get out asap. There's just something about it that really puts even me on edge.
Abandoned Thrifty Megamart (also the Ghost Gym for US UM) was attacked by Tapu Koko, assumably cursed due to the random room with no pattern for location. It too, sounds dissoriented, however, tries to retain the original theme of S M's Megamart despite geing turned into a (I daresay truly haunting for theme) Ghost Gym.
OMG YES. Thank You, fellow Dunsparce Enjoyer!
Dunsparce is a fine example. It's whole point is to play off a very lackluster & simple cryptid that is basically just a fat snake that makes funny noises. Just like the noble Dunsparce, its not what you are, but how you use what you can do.
Strategy, opportunity, luck or be it the strength to outlast, one can compensate for major flaws. Sure, if your opponent is using a whole team centered around moves that are nearly a full counter to your own Typing, it can be a battle on uneven ground. Fighting things on your own level, an opponent can take advantage of abilities like being Ground against a Flying Type you literally can't begin to reach. You train well enough to surpass, or find other ways of landing a blow or just whittling down bit by bit and keeping your defenses high & healthy, you can accomplish most anything!
That's always been the goal of balance in Pokemon, and the lesson. It's about what you can Become.
NEVER underestimate the Normal! They are the typing of Adaptability & growth!
No matter what attributes you be, you always have the capacity to become more, learn & grow!
@@widdershins3785 Exactly! Dunsparce, despite it's short comings, is one of the more adaptable pokémon, capable of learning enough types of moves to prove a nightmare to even the full enemy team! Plus, putting it in a ghost gym when it can learn Shadow Ball makes it one of the most dangerous Gym challenging Pokemon, even without all the other options you have.
I actually want to see a new form or special move just for Dunsparce. Whether it is a Z stone, a Mega evolution or a special Gigantamax, anything can do.
I'm guessing your a sniper main in tf2.
I'm more of a psychic type guy TBH.
I like how a lot of them use telekinesis, or straight up read/control/wipe the minds of other types as well as humans in rare cases.
But to each as their own i say.
I wanna see a video where one of them actively tries to piss everyone else off near/at the end, but end up making everyone calm and make amends with eachother.
Soon they'll argue about the best region:
Scout: Unova
Soldier: Alola
Pyro: Kanto
Demoman: Galar
Heavy: Sinnoh
Engineer: Paldea
Medic: Johto
Sniper: Hoenn
Spy: Kalos
(BTW, I'll agree with Spy)
Man if only the Pokémon community can be like these mercs
I like all of them, maybe Grass the most but with how many Ghost shinies I get I feel like the game is trying to tell me something
Also that lovely Pokemon 2000 music at the end, pulls on the heartstrings
My favorite types are Water, Dark and Steel
Very nice
Me is elecktro Steel and psychick
Normal type. Learn many types of moves, be immune to one type of move (which can be learnt by some Normal Types) and only be weak to 1 type, Fighting.
I explained this more somehwere in the general comment section.
mine are dark and electric
@@thelordofhead-ass5240 cool
I'm glad it actually ended with what all these kinds of fights should end with, everyone agreeing with just enjoying the game for what it is and not be complain about the mechanics and stuff.
As for me, my favorite type used to be Psychic, because my favorite Pokemon, Mewtwo put me into a huge phase for ESP as a teen. That soon however developed to a love for all things supernatural and magical, so now my favorite is Ghist type, as it's always merged with my love for darkness and occultic stuff as well. I love me some creepy haunted houses and ruins.
Saxton Hale: grass types
I'm an all legendary pokémon user. Sure the types each had weaknesses but I never aim for the best. The lore and strength is why I love legendaries and even though it's cliche? I still love them. I respect all type users
(Just my OC's favorite types)
[Main Protagonist] Emerald: Dragon-Type
Dark Emerald: Dark-Type
Mecha Emerald: Steel-Type
Grimlock Rex: Rock-Type
Ultra-Star: Fairy-Type
Red-Star: Fighting-Type
Taiki: Fire-Type
Aqua-Star: Water-Type
Ivy-Star: Grass-Type
Professor Psychic: Psychic-Type
Jackhammer: Ground-Type
Captain Cosmic: Ice-Type
The end was very wholesome. True Hoovy moment.
What a day to be a Demo main, the man even shares my favorite type of Pokémon.
I love Pyro in this video, he doesn't say much but I still enjoy his little subtleties.
I do like Pokémon fighting, but I like looking at them and studying them and just collecting them.
And I have a crush on Skyla
Fire types are the greatest
Cool
Psychic and ghost types, like clay doll for one.
Ha! I had a huge psychic phase that eventually became a ghost phase.
@@aeroblu2002 With Ghost and Psychic, I would be unstoppable!
@@coconuttydragoon3445 dark type
@@coconuttydragoon3445 even so, Claydol stats were so bad, their type advantage didn't even matter.
@@areaxisthegurkha Dare not insult my bayblade son!
My preference has always been ghost and psyhcic type, but only design wise. I try to create a team as balanced as possible to handle any trainer. Unfortunately, Ultra moon was my last game.
I'd LOVE to see them argue, or even discuss, what their favorite Stand from JoJo is.
Man, they always get into some sort of argument. Pretty much every Pokémon type is pretty good if you ask me. And heavy at the end was wholesome as heck.
While I’m not a fan of TH-cam Poop, I do appreciate this video as a whole. You explored the various pros and cons of every type… That the Mercs were debating about, that is. And the kicker? Heavy came in, and settled the argument once and for all. Thank you so much for this video.
I imagine Miss Pauline using Psychic types and The administrator using Dark types.
Personally I prefer dragon type
They have some of the best designs and most of them are dual types
Dragonite
Charizard
Hydrogen
Haxorus
Eternitus
And Zygarde are all some of the strongest Pokémon
And what do they all have in common?
They’re all dragon types lol
Love this so much. Someone please animate this!
I like electric and fighting ngl
I’m honoured that you’ve made a video inspired by mine!
All of them make fair points for their type favorites.
Scout: Electric types do definitely have some potency as a powerhouse, if given the speed and special attack. But, they’re only good against 2 types. Grass and Dragon resist it, with Ground types being immune and even super effective against them.
Demo: Fighting types definitely have a lot of power behind them, being able to attack 4 types for super effective damage. But, they are helped a lot by a supporting type, like say, Fire.
Medic: Poison is definitely a pretty niche type, with being super effective against Fairy, Bug, and Grass. But, they’re more like glass cannons, depending on their secondary typing.
Engie: Steel types definitely have amazing defense, and can be absolute menaces when paired with a typing that’s good for it’s weaknesses. Being able to resist Fairy, Dragon, Rock, & Electric could be useful.
Pyro: I can simply agree that some base form Fire types are adorable. Especially my baby boy, Fuecoco.
Soldier: Flying types are nice, but are often held back being mostly paired with the Normal type. Pokemon like Kilowattrel, Flamigo, Talonflame, and Hawlucha are positive examples of a good Flying type that can be used beyond early game.
Sniper: I can wholeheartedly agree that Normal types are the most well rounded type. Could be useful with a secondary typing like Ghost, as seen with Hisuian Zoroark.
Spy: Ghost types are interesting, given that most have a really impressive move pool, with moves like Thunder Wave and Will-o-Wisp to hinder their opponents. Pokemon like Mismagius definitely take advantage of their wide move pools.
Heavy: What else needs to be said. Immune to Dragon, only weak to Poison and Steel, and only resisted by the two previous and Bug & Fire. Steel/Fairy is an especially menacing combo, depending on how it’s done.
But I agree with Heavy. Pokemon is about making your own personal team, even if some disagree.
Scizor is my fav, it can go toe to toe to any type but fire.
To side with sniper here, most normal types have a diverse move pool to offset the fact that they can’t really hit anything with their normal type moves. While Spy’s ghost types fail to hit sniper’s Snorlax, it can just thunder punch his gengar’s face in and be done with it.
Want an interesting fact about Pokémon
Dig and fly are banned in gen 1 competitive due to his important paralysis is
In gen 1 if a Pokémon gets paralysed on the second turn of these moves the attack is cancelled but the Pokémon remains in the invincible state and can freely attack
Great vid Synthpuff.
every time i play a game w murkrow i have a full team of murkrows
For me I love dragon, despite having 3 weakness they're the best when it comes to them being both a heavy hitter and a tank
my fav is grass ice and ghost typs
little do they know some of the latest gen pokemon combine physical and elemental types, like fighting fire, or flying electrip type
I’m a water and dark type user
My go to Pokémon: hisuian samurott
My go to dual attacks: waterfall, dark pulse and razor shell
I actually like dragon type pokemon. They have unique designs and have powerful attacks to back it up.
Ah, a fellow dragon type enthusiast, I see!
@@EndergeistYT I'm not a dragon type enthusiast, I just respect them.
@@jackattack1319 OK, that's fair.
I may like every type but my favorite out of them all is Ice, okay now I know Ice is weak against Fire, Rock, Steel and Fighting but they have moves that can turn an opponent's pokemon into a block of ice. Not to mention I like Snow and it reminded me of Metro 2033 and most of all they have some of the badass designs and a few are a mixed type. Hence why Ice type is so cool.
Fire, Water and Psychic are my favorite types
Jigglypuff signs their paychecks..Haha..Fond of Ghost and Psychic types.
Do you think i can try and animate this in an anime-sque style?
I promise to give you credit.
Be my guest. I would love to see it. 😃
My favorite Pokémon type is ghost they are cool ✨✨
I mean, Steel is pretty centralising, so much so most of the offensive type are it's weakness. Steel and Fairy is often considered a potent combo (it has both offense and defense). Flying and Ghost nullifies Ground and Fighting, common weakness of Steel type. So, outside of Heatran (which is also pretty strong defensively), Fire is a probably the best choice to deal with most steel type.
Me? I just like Electric type.
Is no one gonna talk about Eevee being able to be multiple types by evolving.
soldier would have to be fighting or flying The reason for fighting is because of his personality
Personally I don't have a favorite "type" exactly, but I prefer all fossil Pokemon. I even consider them there own type. Sure all fossil Pokemon (until s&s) are part rock type, but most of them are only rock type because of the restoration process.
What about "Spy thinking about loving Delphox"
My Top Five Favourite types
5. Psychic
4. Fire
3. Dragon
2. Water
1. Steel
My favorite types are electric, water, and ground
Personally, i like the fairy types and the dragon types best.
I love Dragon Type Pokemon
My types would be Fire, Ice, Dragon, and Water.
now I'm just imagining them discussing which is the best generation of Pokémon 🤣🤣
All types of pokemon are cool
Poor pyro
Huh, I would have thought soldier would go for the dragon type
very good
I like to use fire types however in game i focus on Pokémon with two types to have and advantage but I also like ice, dragon, dark, and ghost types, nonetheless I love the designs of every Pokémon especially Humanoid Pokémon like Lucario, Infernape, Intelion, and Greninja. Also Beast Pokémon like Gliscor, Drapion, Torterra, and Slowpoke but this is just my opinion. What you guys think ?
If I had to pick a type I go with dragon
I thought ms pauling would mention her favorite type
if someone is spaming fly/dig/dive just use swift it never misses
and as a Fellow poison type user I have a pokemon with the ability called Corrosion so steel and ortha poison types CAN get poison
Heavy's wise words should be rememberd no matter what.......plus Fairy types kick dragons types ass every time
About that statement regarding Fairy beating Dragon types. A dragon type could pack a steel type move to counter its other weaknesses. Garchomp, for example, can learn Iron Head to counter both Fairy and it’s 4x Ice weakness.
Normal and Fire types are my least favorite. Normal are just so basic (If I wanted to see a normal animal I would just go to the zoo), but I do acknowledge Normals are surprisingly good Tanks, alongside Water and Dragon types. Whereas Fire types are so overrated.
The only Pokémon I like it look like dinosaurs
i like ghost and fighting
Ditto is a normal type. So clearly sniper's choice is the best.
I like normal types. Being normal is pretty average.
I'm a water type person
I like mostly dragon type….they have moves that are powerful and can cause massive damage…..I have three legendary Pokémon….I see dragon type as powerful Pokémon…
true my fav fighting becuse they op ghost i can do trap moves like desetny bond they sneak attacks i love dragon types
Obviously water
Please we all know dragon types are the best… after they level up like 40 times
