The cap on Regen isn't 7 mil, it's just the cap of regen granted by Affliction (The regen cap is the same as the DoT cap at 35.8 mil as Regen is stored as value per minute) The cap you are seeing of 7 mil is cause it's 20% of the Degen on the minion (degen on the minion caps at 35.8 mil too) so it's 20% of the DoT cap at 7.16 mil. Since Affliction is a buff this would probably be scaled by generic Buff effect on Ichimonji but I'm not sure and the value wouldn't really matter anyway Also from looking in the game files, it looks very easy to fix. All the undamagable minions that can't be affected by Affliction have the "set_maximum_life_is_one" tag on them except for the ones that come from Yriel's Fostering
Actually, as someone who found a way to pull this off without the use of Yriel's Fostering, and with far more minions active at once (Yriel's Fostering is way more practical, mine has practical use case problems), I can tell you the regen cap is 28.6 million. If it was 35.8 it would cap out at 5 minions with the debuff active at DoT cap. But it doesn't matter how many extra minions you have above 4, adding additional minions never brings you above 28.6 million, it just makes you reach that cap faster.

There's 4 variants of this spectre, but the relevant one places an effigy when it first encounters an enemy. As long as this effigy is alive, no matter where it is in the zone, the Cultist Warrior has 90% reduced damage taken. You can then bump that up to 105% reduced damage taken by using a Gloam ring base in your left ring slot. Unlike your method, this isn't true invulnerability. Increased global or phys damage taken such as shock or Vulnerability will instantly evaporate the spectres, and in enclosed boss arenas like Maven, the effigy will be incredibly vulnerable.
Any interesting self damage or degen mechanics this might enable where the degen downside is usually too strong? E g. there's some uniques that degen you. Or running RF on a build that you wouldn't normally. Or running petrified blood, or?

In an hour you took an idea through PoB to actual character with gear you bought. It would blow your mind to know how little I achieve in an hour on PoB. Anyway, it's a fascinating concept. For some reason I feel like I'm seeing a lot of life regen stuff recently, like the time is right for a classic POE price bubble.
For normal players, just buying a pair of gloves takes 1 hour because you have to filter for stats, no one is answering, you filter again, but those are too expensive, so you filter a third time, buy a 40c item and all is good... except you now notices that it's the wrong base and your int is too low to equip it ! Back to square one...

This ring is grear on minion inatability, it gives you 300k regen, the minions pop and you summon new ones and curse em. Golems and the spectre that come back to life etc are great :)

Wondering if I can incorporate this into Maw of Mischief builds as a reactive protection against dots. The build has pretty good avoidance but struggles with dots.
Pretty cool, even though I would be worried that this will be bugfixed as the yriel minions arent supposed to be targettable normally (or at least they dont work wih for example link skills afaik, so im surprised they do with affliction).
The unique is from 3.0. To make an untargetable minion, GGG devs probably took a shortcut of placing the Vaal Immortal Call onto the minion with 999999 seconds duration and turned GFX off. Or similar thing was done as with the old magic monster affix with animated guardian spawning (if Rhoa dies/despawns when you die, it is the same code). AG in that instance was targetable, but had permanent VIM on it until the monster pack was taken care off.
Bro, i want to say thank you for your power siphon mine build! It is my best build i have ever played, up to 11 mil dps and can go maven witnessed uber bosses, the feared, i can do all delve bosses at 35p to 400 depth. The template for it was amazing and was so easy to build upon. Thank you again for yoyr hard work!
I'm not 100% sure, but I think you might be able to scale damage & defenses better by swapping your boots for some Stormriders and stacking accuracy as a Juggernaut instead. Food for thought and sick concept as always!

@@GurelBaltali there is a shield that makes bleeds do chaos damage then the necklace that makes you region any chaos dots. You take yourself bleed and heal from your bleed damage as long as you were leaching.

You have an invulnerable pet, you curse this pet with Affliction and as a result you get infinitive health regeneration? Isnt that extremly strong for each charakter? You can ignore all dots with this possibility.
There really isn't. It's only sirus and exarch ground effects which are exclusive to t17s (so can be rolled over) and their respective boss fights (which are optional content), and Maven last phase which again is a boss fight. Then you have 2 map mods (which can be rolled over). And that's it. You have 2 normal map mods, 2 t17 map mods, and 3 pinnicle boss fights. All super easy to avoid. Where is this " too much shit " ? You know you can reroll map mods right ? There isn't a single build in the game that can run every map mod without atleast 1 or 2 of them bricking the build or having to use 6 portals and fail the map anyway.

What item prices, it uses a very common chest and ring. There's nothing rare about it. This specific iteration of the build is pretty fucking trash, like it has ~10k phys max hit so still dies to lots of things in 1 hit, and 2-3m dps. Day 1 league starters have better stats than that. Assuming this bug doesn't get patched, someone will figure out a setup that can fully abuse this to make a near immortal character with good dps and the specific items needed to make that work on the top end will skyrocket in price (specifcally anything dropped from uber bosses like forbidden jewels). But the core of the build right now (yriels and that ring) are trash 1c uniques, nothing will change that
