@@katierasburn9571 he does seem like a psychopath, but having religious hallucinations (despite being atheist), paranoia (about the cafe workers), delusions of persecution, delusions of grandeur, dissociation, manic psychosis, and intermittent memory loss are all textbook schizophrenia. The fact that he's hard working but socially withdrawn (as described by his coworkers) also point to him being schizotypical, which is genetically associated with schizophrenia.
Ofcourse, my evaluation is biased based on how dark curiosities is telling this story, which could potentially be biased by the first doctor's interpretation.

If you're referring to the murder in Paris that was 1948 and he confessed 5 years later during which time the case had gone cold. 5 years places his confession in 1953 when he was arrested for the murders in Australia and hanged. He probably confessed after capture which by then why would the French bother to charge him? He was going to the gallows anyways in Australia.

I'm sorry to say that I've seen these kinds of people before, even within the past week. Some people simply cannot restrain themselves from quarreling and even from violence, and any attempt to calm, dissuade, or placate them is simply wasted, and may even mark you as a target.

I'd sure love it if you would take a look at Urbain Grandier and (alleged) his pact with the devil.

Pah, that's a story of white men with more power than him, getting jealous of his 'exploits' and then killing him, 'tis all.

Hey my fellow tubers. Just a request for this fascinating storyteller. A thumbs-up is easy and helps DC to continue. I don't know her just trying to spread the love.

He may not have had paranoid schizophrenia, but he had definitely had some abnormal mental condition which may have been controlled with the proper medication.

Classic narcissist and victim stancing. I have a deep deep hatred of this personality complex eg a 200+ lb man beating a small child/woman and then berating them for "making" him and truely believing that he is the victim.

Hmmm, is that doctor sure he wasn’t completely mental? Seems a bit more off than your average angry drunk. Also, how can someone claiming to not believe in God speak with God and take His advice to heart? Yep, I’m going with mental nutter!

I am confused why the waitress had to LEAP 20 ft from a window that was reportedly on the first floor. Not a very effective use of the word "first" but then again it is Australia and everything is different down there so whatever
