The shots were great. The lens has an appeal. But... Seeing the snow and those mountains, and moose. So reminded me of when I was stationed in Fairbanks, AK. Thanks to love and a 21 year journey to marry my HS sweetheart, I'm now on the border of Texas. Lots of good things about Texas. Still, I miss those crisp days, the mountains, the moose in the yard, and all that. Okay, don't miss the moosequietos, but plenty to still miss. Great video.
Ordered this lens today for astro, I got a mount that tracks the rotation of the earth and hopefully with that I can get some nice shots with longer exposure and stacking more photos. Downloaded Siril and photoshop, hopefully I will have some fun with all of that! Still gotta get out of town however, there is a lot of light pollution in the DFW metro.

Great video dude,this should be a TTArtisan ad cause I'm definitly getting this lens when i got the money, that cool moon shot and this last astro shot was great, only managed to use a 300mm for now so can't wait to get a 500mm !
Nice video, thanks. I have an old version of this lens, adapted from F-mount. Has a long, about 10ft, min focus distance, so no macro work. Definitely, a specialty lens.

@@slackreviews yep I just took like 100 photos in time-lapse mode and centered as best as possible. Deep sky stacker auto aligns the photos in photo based on the stars
Astral photography is something that I have always wanted to give a try, I've heard also before this is a great lens for it, may have to give it a try soon! Awesome space shot!
No problem! I honestly don't remember😂 I think I was like 6400 ISO, f/6.3, .3 shutter? Somewhere around there. I wasn't using one of those no just a tripod and would try to recenter after about 100. Photos
I think them main reason B and H Photo can't keep this in stock regardless of which Camera Brand one owns is because of this. Astrophotography. However I am least worried about this lens for doing that, it's the Wildlife part that still has me debating. Good job on both.

I have a 20mm lens from TT Artisans and for the money its the best glass you can buy but with that you trade off having auto focus

It's not particularly difficult if you have a bit of knowledge with cameras and Photoshop but if you're a beginner it can be a bit overwhelming
