Lmao the funniest thing in this drama for me was always how she'd affect her ex's fortune by just being near him.
i suspect when she does not see her ex on magazine, it because he is to rich and influential now 😂

i was about to ignore this recap because its 1 hour long but im glad i didn't.
It was interesting but got super repetitive about midway through then turned ridiculous when they kept introducing more reincarnated people and also pretty dissapointing none of them even tried gaming the lottery at least once or like averting WW3 or something like that at least. The ending didn't even really feel like a proper ending and we never get to see her actually reincarnate as someone else which is what we were waiting for the entire time...
So many opportunities to change the world for better instead of just focusing on their own friend circle too, like imagine if I could bring the newest cancer meds or any medical breakthrough we've had back in time over 20 years earlier. Or I could invest in bitcoin and rake in billions of dollars to spend on cancer research then bring that knowledge back with me into another reincarnation, invest in bitcoin yet again, and spend the new billions of dollars on space research or whatever you desire really. With each reincarnation just investing all your bitcoin earnings into some other field to advance society by several lifetimes by the time you're done and in your final reincarnation you instead use that money to feed the homeless. You could game the stock market so hard or take any massive breakthroughs back in time with you but instead all they really did was experiment with their friends relationships, even going out with that one guy knowing damn well he'd go from a successful billionaire to some chump with a gambling addict instead, extremely selfish if you ask me and I have no idea how she kept earning enough merits for a do-over at that pace.

This sounds like a show that'd literally make me cry after watching the entirety up to the ending. I always have a soft spot for any form of media that focuses on the theme of life's value and death, much like "Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio" in example (which you should definitely watch / recap. Unlike the "remake" and the bootlegs, it covers everything and left no crumb)
I as well. You have piqued my interest in seeing Pinocchio (I thought even the Disney version had a lot to offer philosophically)! Might I suggest in return, Koreeda’s Afterlife? It honestly made me consider how i live my life, and how I should going forward. But anyway, thanks for the rec!

Ok i'll admit, I've been watching Daniel CC Movies in the past 6 life cycles and I'm gonna do it again until the next one...
I was about to pass it one her third life cycle but the mystery of her life keeps me from turning it off. This was such a good review. I love the ending.
I gave it a rest and found myself coming back to it. Glad I did.
I suggest making it known how long the actual show is so that people will be motivated to see these longer videos.

Of course it’s going to be a long recap. It’s a television show. No one is going to do a recap of just one episode, that would be ridiculous and useless. Common sense would dictate that no one is going to be able to fit an entire series into a 15-30 min video.

@@pendambahidayah4712 For example Tru Calling had simillar theme. Young assistant in morgue had power to hear call to help from murder victims and was stuck in one day timeloop till finding murderer. Or Early Edition. Series about guy getting tomorrow's nespapper and so he has time to stop bad things from happening. Of corse it's not easy and there are strugless to keep viewers engaged till the end of the every episode. But style was more episodic.

Dang this show was insanely amazing but my only issue is that the edning felt really rushed..I wouldnt mind if they just showed fast mini parts of them helping the pharmacy girl, the teacher at the subway etc. Also i also wanted to see what she'd reincarnated into. Also also i wish we also knew what happened to the other reincarnatees and maybe had parts in the credits where they see their next reincarnated lives. Also ( also, also ) i wished we knew more about tori and the make up girl.
I don't think there ever was a re-incarnation when they passed away the last time. They found the purpose of re-incarnation, save their friends and the life on the plane.
It was never about reincarnation. It was about "Journey" - probably ended up in Heaven after dying.

This made me cry inside from the ending, beginning, and it’s so heartwarming. It literally made my heart as same as the protagonist. I’m glad I didn’t ignore it.
Normally, I wouldn't watch a recap if it's less than 20 minutes long. However, since I'm studying for an exam, I felt like staring at the wall might be a better option than studying. As it turns out, I'm happy that I chose to watch this recap. Btw, wish me luck for my exam! 😬😬😬❤️

Out of all these reincarnators none of them thought to remember any winning lottery tickets? Even if they were after carma they could have used the money from the winnings to help a whole lot of people and not just the people in their own life... But this story was really good.

But if I were to reincarnate that many times, remembering a jackpot lottery number for a certain date would be easy to remember. Especially if you were pretty sure you could reincarnate to start over again.
to be fair though, how can we be so certain that things that run in RNG like lottery numbers would stay the same? maybe in the next cycle the winning combinations could be different this time around

I stumbled upon this drama by chance and start ep 1. I suggest people to watch it because it's so good. It gives a very good understanding of each timeline and also the details that were missing suddenly complete with the revelation. the side character/supporting cast also so memorable. I finished it in 3 days to really savour it, This drama is really the best.

the premise of the series is very interesting because some books even said genius people are in their life cycle.... Mari revelation is kind amazing for the plot but when everyone became reincarnation kinda odd. But what a great recap and series..

I really enjoyed this drama thoroughly with its very off-beat humour and relatable characters. It kept me afloat during some tough times with the way the characters were motivated out of love for one another. Highly recommend!

Wait, you missed the best part, the ending of the show. It's not just that they grew up together, it's that the four friends all reincarnated into four pigeons who seemed to always stay together.
I always give a thought about this what would i do if i born again with my whole memories,,, avoid toxic friends and it's always me being studying hard😂 which i can still do but...😅

This was a fun recap. I’m surprised that reincarnation isn’t a commonly accepted thing in that universe, though.
It reminded me of one of my favorite books, The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August. It has a very similar theme of the original life repeating after death. I think it’s supposed to be turned into a movie or something. There’s no way a movie would do it justice, though. Needs at least a limited series. I highly recommend it.

It is slowly becoming accepted because people are realizing their own potential in life rather than eating everything told to them. Becoming your own eventual God is the job & this world here is a school filled with lessons to educate, share emotions, create, and be content - unfortunately the old decrepit system of controlling through fear doubt & grief is still trying to hold on for dear life slipping in drugs to poison our passionate hearts & confuse our rational minds. You just have to see the tactics & choose not to follow them. Always choosing better for yourself & others simultaneously in the next life cycles.

None of Asami's friend and herself dream big which was a shame since at least Asami's crush achieves great wealth as a CEO in one of her cycles. In last cycle, all of them back to square one while Asami and Mari can become celebrities
