Thank you for this video. I used Revitalash with the Prostaglandins for 3 years and had the best lashes of my life, Asian with short straight lashes. I stopped because I worried about the side effects although I didn’t have any. Now using Olaplex lash serum for the last 6 months only a small improvement since my lashes all went back to normal. It doesn’t have any prostaglandin in it. Would like to know if anybody else has too.
Thank you Dr. Liu. I had the same experience with The Ordinary. I’m currently using Revivlash which doesn’t contain PA and is well tolerated on my sensitive eyes. I have thin, Asian lashes and have noticed an improvement in length with 3 months of use. It’s a very large tube so it should last a long time. Maybe you can try it out. Thanks again! 😊
I experienced the same itching sensation from the ordinary lash serum. It was to the point where I was struggling to keep from rubbing my eyes like crazy, but there was no visible irritation. I gave up after one tube because I hated the feeling and saw no difference in my lashes.
Hi Dr. Liu! Thanks for this super informative video! I’ve never used a prostaglandin analogue because I was scared of the side effects but currently on my second tube of the ordinary lash serum! I started using it after my first set of lash extensions fell out and I noticed my Asian lashes looking even shorter than before. I felt like the ordinary lash serum helped my lashes get back to normal. It does make my eyes sting sometimes. Not sure if this is placebo since they would have taken time to grow anyways and they haven’t grown much longer than normal, but I will continue using it :)
Very informative video, I feel like people don't really talk about these sides of eyelash serums. What do you think about M2 Beaute Eyelash Activating Serum? I've seen this serum gone quite viral as well the Grande lash!
yeah among all the skincare topics this is one that’s forgotten. This like GL also contains a PG analog so probably works but could it have similar side effects too? I think so

I had used grande lash serum for 2 years, and my lashes were so long and full, and I was happy, unfortunately the perimeter of my eyes started looking purplish brown, and eventually my eyes looked sunken in 😢 stopped and switched to the ordinary one for half a year, the pigments around my eyes are now gone, fats on the eyelid are slowly coming back, hopefully one day I’ll look like how I was😅
I’m using Lenoites Eyelash Activating Serum from a Swedish brand. They say it is made of peptide. But I’m not sure if it is true. Because it behaves very similar to eyelash serum with prostaglandin analogue product. My lashes did look longer.

I used The Ordinary serum on my brows and it caused redness and irritation, which caused my brow hairs to fall out!

Yeah I think in general eye area is delicate so symptoms like these can occur

I’ve used Reviv - it does work modestly, it’s not as good as latisse. Also has stinging and burning occasionally.
Is the UKlash serum safer to use?
