As an ARMY, I appreciate that you took the time to check this out. That being said, Jungkook is trying to break away from the young image. So, he is pushing the limits. In South Korea, it's not really an acceptable thing to go out of the box like he's doing. I think it's a breath of fresh air.
9:15 all of the 'background' dancers are actually really really famous and well respected dancers, choreographers and teachers. As a dancer myself it feels like worlds colliding!
4:46 Ok he has definitely been incorporating 'mature' lyrics recently but "when its deep like DNA" just means how deep the connection is between two people. Like you're destined for each other because its in your DNA to be compatible or you're fated to be together because even down to the molecular level you match well... sort of like how the phrase 'blood is thicker than water' denotes that people tied by the same blood... i.e. family are the most important. ALSO its likely a reference to the BTS song titled DNA- which also describes a feeling of being with someone who is "eternally destined for you" in the previous life, this life and the next!
Jungkook said the entire album was about love, the universal language. The mv director on this video said she wanted a Romeo & Juliet vibe. Note the ‘2 families’ fighting while he’s onstage.
Actually if u react to jungkook album and it's songs you gonna know that why we have song like 3d and seven on the top of the list of songs... Couse the album have a story to tell about a relationship. A person meet a girl and they fall in love... Love each other face and body u know? Sexually... And then jk wants to stand next to her an closer to her and then every thing chang, he see that she is changing and say please don't change cause i love the way you are and then we have Hate you and other songs... It's gonna be cool if you react to his album "golden" and pay attention to it's story and understand why he released 3D and Seven
I agree 100% witth you, dearTeddy. THIS is Jungkook! You need to listen to his album, all the new songs are beautiful! It's a conceptual album, where he wanted to tell the trajectory of a couple (the infatuation, the happines, the break, the struggles.... it's a beautiful trip. Ah! The director of this MV said it was inspired by Romeo and Juliet. Thanks for your reaction! I'm so happy you are doing it again (I mean,, BTS), I really appreciate your comments.
The deeper than the rain, deeper than the pain, deep like DNA is referring to their connection. It even says "something they can't take away take take take take take off". So he is saying they have a soul mate type thingy. So this song is really tame compared to the other 2 lmao
Many are kidnapped by K-pop songs, but, the person who knows the value of hip hop and knows what real music and rap are, is the one who appreciates BTS, for me they are the best, the lyrics of their songs are always legendary, and no one can beat the beats they make or their delivery, they are kings, And they did not reach this stage like the rest of the singers, but they got very tired and worked hard until their ass got shattered, they deserve the best, not because they are famous, but because they paved the way, because they are the best!
Every time I see Kookie being on his own like this, I can 100% see every one of his hyungs influences in his performances. The dancing is Hobi, the stares are V and Jin, the attitude is 100% RM and Suga. The soft sweetness of his vocals are absolutely Jimin. I’m so proud of Kookie and his transformation into the man he’s become today. He really has come into his own.
Well actually, Junkook said he had a lot to learn in terms of music composition yet, so he chose to collaborate with other artists and producers for his album. It is for that reason that the entire album is in English, because Junkook did not write any of the lyrics for his song. At the moment he wants to improve his vocal technique and performance and in the future he wants to make his own songs. Thank you for your reaction
true but he already made song of his own before this. he just rather focus on his voice, than production. it is alot of ekstra work that they dont really have time for now when they are enlisting. jimin didn´t even get a break after 10 years of non stop activity. before he began producing his album.
It is very clear that those that wrote this song did their BTS homework or they made the lyrics work with BTS references. Deep like DNA with the dance move are a definite call back to the BTS song DNA.
That explains songs like Seven, 3D, Yes or No etc, those songs really feels radio like songs. Not entirely bad but just doesn't have personality to it, Standing Next to You is pretty good tho one of my fav solo
Believe it or not, the live iHeart version gives off an even funkier 80s vibe. Very stripped down, live band, JK dancing solo, bending notes... it's a thing of beauty.
About the "deep than DNA" part, i guess it has a meaning other than what you thought.. i think it need more context because the phrase alone actually does sound questionable.. but the ARMY did understand it in another way cos we have more context, it's a shutout to a bts song called DNA which is about the expression of a young, passionate love between the bts members themselves or towards their fans, and the song is describing that them being together is not a coincidence, in fact it's destiny, when they say : *Don't worry, love. None of this is a coincidence. We're totally different, baby. Because we're the two who found our destiny.... In the previous life. Maybe the next too. We're eternally together* and he is referring to that ..
"I need to go back for his legs man! Did you see the way they wobbled??!" You're killing me🤣🤣🤣🤣 This is by far my favourite reaction video to this song 🙌👏👏👏🔥
If you want to see a performance, you *have* to see the LIVE version of this song from The Tonight Show (Jimmy Fallon). He and the dancers absolutely killed it.
There is a choreography version of this, and he has done numerous live performances of this song. IiHeart Radio, Jimmy Fallon, The Today Show. etc. iHeart radio was just Jungkook and a live band, and he did amazing.
BTS songs I think you should try Black swan, mic drop, on. Their early songs like no more dream,we are bulletproof pt2 and N.O are also something I would like to see you watch and some b-sides like cypher 1-4 ,hip hop lover, tomorrow, spine breaker, look here and we on
As an avid gamer and a lover of Kpop, this song hits magnificently while driving around at full speed in Cyberpunk 2077. Neon lights wooshing past with this playing in my ears goes unbelievably hard.
Closer to you by JUNGKOOK is so ravishing too , The beat, the melody, the vibe is so fucking perfect!!!! And the way Jungkook is singing makes me ask myself, how did I live before this release? It's not just a song but it's a genius work
when I became an army in 2013 I was 17 and jungkook had just turned 16 but for me it still feels like seeing my teenager kid becoming an adult 😂😂 i understand his growth and why he choose to do this style of music, but is still weird somehow if u check the songs that > he < wrote you'll see why (especially bc they're all dedicated to army or to his bts members), he has the sweetest lyricism but, yeah, his voice makes ANYTHING sounds golden, my kiddo truly lives up to his name ✨
Actually, deeper than DNA is a recall for a BTS song that is called DNA and actually whole "when it's deeper than the rain, it's deeper than the rain and it's deep like dna" thingy is a person's love and emotions to another one but sure, it can include the sex like you said. I think you can like Somebody or Shot Glass of Tears in his album, Golden. But i think you should check out his other songs like My Time, or Stay Alive (I don't know if you listen to it yet). Thank you for your reaction, I enjoyed it! 💜
do you ever think about how jungkook has a ten year plus catalogue of untouchable dancing talent and how he’s just added another entry with snty all whilst paying homage to thee g.o.a.t, solidifying his name alongside the other matchless icons of dance!
JK did such a good job with this song - it was a huge surprise song wise. The homage to MJ is so good and done with such grace. It is a very hard thing to do without sounding cheesy and he does it so well. This album was produced and written by some major American producers and song writers as well as some songs by the likes of Ed Sheeran and Shawn Mendes - JK did not write on this album but rather concentrated on a style and performance so ya the lyrics are not deep like we are used to from him. He is a perfectionist when it comes to performance. I recommend watching the Jimmy Fallon live version of this song as well as the Dance performance MV. As for BTS - I think you will really enjoy their early discography - it was really outside of norm of the typical "kpop" sound at the time - very very urban R&B and I think it is why people gravitated to them so much. Since then they really just keep reimagining their dreams and adjust their sounds to support those new goals every single time. They work hard on everything they do and never ever dial anything in. They teach Armys to work hard, be kind, love each other and love yourself and what more could I want from an artist when i know and FEEL that the genuinely do everything they do for US. This is why we are so passionate about protecting and supporting them. They really are good people and deserve everything we can give them. Enjoy your journey! they have a masssssssive dicography so don't get too overwhelmed, don't let anyone tell you how to enjoy that journey, and do your thing the way you want to - there is no wrong or right way to jump in. I will be along for it regardless. 💜
All really famous dancers/choreographers. The album follows the path of a relationship that eventually ends. There is a lot more romance on the album. 😘💜🫰🏻
This MV storyline is based on the movie Romeo and Juliet in 1996 and the lyrics mean that their love will stand the test of time thru fire and he will stand next to her again
Not all of them are older than you though. SUGA is the second eldest member of BTS and he was born in 1993. As you mentioned in your AMYGDALA reaction video, you were also born in 1993 making only ONE MEMBER that happened to be JIN (born in 1992) which you have not reacted to yet, older than you. That means the rest of the members are younger than you. JUNGKOOK is the youngest in the group (born in 1997) and V and JIMIN, both were born in 1995 the former being the second and the latter being the third youngest.
Omg finally!! I’m waiting for your reaction to BTS 🙏🏼💜you going to be amazed by them, and know way BTS is the biggest boy band in the world rn Thank you and enjoy ❤
I think the JK you've reacted to so far is the current him trying a more mature concept, especially since he's been infantilized a lot by Army. You can check out his work with BTS and some of his other solo work from the bts albums and even the slower ones on Golden. They're not within the same explicit theme as Seven or 3D.
Rain (plz) , house of cards y the vocal line, the cyphers 1,2,3,4 by the rap line, fake love /mic drop /butterflyyyyyyyy/strange by sugar and RM, monster by RM AND I LL SUGGEST EVEN MORE AFTER U REACT TO ONE
He did amazing on this album I think you'd enjoy Hate you and Shot glass full of tears they're more on the sad side but reallyyy good Also his live performance on Fallon is better than the mv you should check it out
Their fans have never been "young"... Their fans spans every age group. I'm sure you've been told. But no, most of the age demographic are probably older than you. Great reaction. Also, yeah this dance crew are the ones artists pray they can land to TEACH them. JK is just that guy. Legend in his own time.
I was waiting for your reactions and analysis! Thank you!!! He did make this album with a focus on the western market. The bottom line, though, is that he is an incredible person, a talented vocalist, and phenomenal dancer. You may want to start with Cyphers 1-4. The rap line is incredible!. As for BTS content, the classics are: Mic Drop; On- Kinetic Manifesto; Swan Lake; Blood Sweat, and Tears; and Idol. (Oh, who am I kidding, each song has something to offer!) 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I knew you would love this! He made a hit out of this! He's very inspired by MJ all the boys in BTS are. You should check out him and Jimin dancing to MJ's Black And White at one of their Festas you would love it! I also highly recommend you react to their song Hip Hop Lover or Hip Hop Phile as it's also known but make sure you do a live performance. They also did a reworked cover of JCole's Born Sinner called Born Singer that's right up your alley! Welcome to the rabbit hole of a catalog of more than 300 songs! I think you will find more songs you like than dislike. Thanks Teddy! I have been a fan of yours for a long time and have been waiting for you to give BTS a chance. You are still my number one reactor when it comes to Stray Kids and make my Stay heart proud! Also don't know if you know this but Taemin and Jimin are really good friends (Kai as well😊) they actually have a dance off performance together from an award show you should check out as well. Borahae my friend 💜🫰🫰
It’s their mother s age, and fell in love with them after listening to just a few songs of theirs, and that was all it needs, I became an army within a few days after that 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
do you ever think about how jungkook has a ten year plus catalogue of untouchable dancing talent and how he’s just added another entry with snty all whilst paying homage to thee g.o.a.t, solidifying his name alongside the other matchless icons of dance
I love your ateez and Bts reactions, I have been binging all night… so happy you mentioned getting into Bts… feels like a dream.. can’t wait to see the notification of your reaction to the guide 🔥🔥🔥
So many BTS references in the lyrics, choreo and visuals! They always include Army and EachOther somehow!! Plus … I’m sure you’ll hear that he was sent tons of english songs … so not necessarily HIS total lyrics, and he had to literally learn ALOT of pronunciation for all of his album. So I hope you forgive some redundancy for language barriers and the fact that he was lighting speed trying to get his album out to us , come do some shows and get it all in before military service entrance! He also does want to be known as a man to army that won’t let him Grow Up! 🤭 Just my 2cents and believe it or not; I loved your reaction to enjoying the song!!
For a 50 year old like me, this is heaven on earth. Disco nights, funky MJ vibes. Amazing. Yessss, lets go for the Guide!!! Popcorns ready. I swear every reactor and every Army starts dancing the second the music starts. Faces of happiness all around.
Thank you!! I absolutely love this song by JK!! I am SO excited that you are going to react to the BTS Guide 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜✌✌✌✌✌ You stated there are some songs you may like by BTS, and some songs you may not like. Thanks for your honesty as always!
There are several remixes of this song. I haven't listened to all of them yet. The one I have on serious repeat so far is the Standing Next to You Future Funk remix. I really enjoy your reactions. Can't to see more of your reactions 😊
The 'standing next to you' musical phrase is exactly like 'woah oh here she comes' from the song 'Maneater.' by Daryl Hall (1982). This type of song feels more late 70s to me. By the 80s I was into electronic music, synth bands, New Romantics. I can't fault his performance but I'm not a great fan of the last couple of songs. The collabs do nothing for me, but I'm middle aged and perhaps not the target market.
Thank you!! Unwarranted sexual explicitness. Perfect way to put it. There are ARMYs that will crush any criticism. But, many of us hated Harlow's part. Both songs JK released were okay, but seemed more like a teenager trying to get attention using bad words. And he'll probably understand that as he gets older. This is so much better and so much more mature. He's so unbelievably talented.
I'm so glad I was able to find a comment like yours, it reflects my sentiments exactly. It's alright to include swearing and sexual lyrics in your songs, but you can easily do so without being degrading towards a group of people who already are continuously the subject of such lyrics. It's such a massive and unoriginal bore. Like, for all the sht bts got with their song 'War of Hormone' you'd think jk would be considerate or at least more aware of such issues by now 🤷♀ And swearing can indeed add to the rawness in songs, but in jk's songs it feels like it's just done for the purpose of wanting to be seen as a bad boy, as if to say "look guys I'm an adult now, I can say bad words and talk about sex now!" which is backed up by his fans saying that jk wants to step away from his cutesy image and be seen as a grown adult. So yeah, seven, 3d, could've been crafted with more thought honestly. So I'm glad that standing next to you is the main title track from my understanding.
I could swear I've heard that begging part before I just can't find the song, either that or it's just the 80s in me. But that "tu tu tu, tu, tu tururu" on 4:08 - 4:18 I'm pretty sure that's from Warren G - regulate Song is fire tho
i hope you read this. Ive been an ARMY since their debut and I know all their discography; I really really love how u take time to disect the meaning of their lyrics (though standing next to you is supposed to be more generic I've seen in other videos were the themes are more complex), its appreciated by ARMY bc a lot of TH-camrs use bts for clout and have basic things to say most of the time. But further more I think you should listen to more group songs they have. Im gonna put some of my favorites because I am more in favor of the sadder and more "deep" songs BTS have, ill put a list: Rain (bts first album DARK&WILD) Let Me Know (DARK&WILD) Tomarrow (SKOOL LUV AFFAIR) Spine Breaker (SKOOL LIV AFFAIR) generally any song off of HYYH or Wings but ill put my favs Blood Sweat and Tears (Wings album) 2!3! (WINGS) Autum Leaves (HYYH) Young Forever (HYYH) Hold Me Tight (HYYH) Whalien 52 (HYYH) Butterfly [my personal fav] (HYYH) House of Cards (HYYH) Sea [its a hidden song but its on Love Yourself; Her] Jamais Vu (Map of the Soul: Persona) Louder than Bombs (Map of the Soul: 7) We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal ( Map of the Soul: 7) BlackSwan (MOTS: 7) 00:00 (MOTS: 7) Blue & Grey (BE) Dis-ease (BE). Born SInger [was made 7 years ago but they finally put it on an album in 22] (PROOF) _____________________________________________________ I know its a lot of songs not asking for them all at once lol but they are very good and I think you may like some of them.
This song is to his bandmates , lyrics like deep like DNA is to BTS song DNA There BTS all over this video too from things in the choreography(moves from other songs) or costumes (black wings from black swan song from BTS) and it’s just a masterpiece. If you know you know! This is why I love being army.
The angel wings it's another reference to a BTS song/album. This album is Golden, he didn't wrote it, he wanted to get them from English speaking artists. Ed Sheeran and Shawn Mendes to say 2
I think Jungkook can make any song great, to be honest. They are not the best lyrics but somehow he made it a really cool song. From the Golden album I like Yes or no, Hate you and Standing next to you. Teddy, a little "fun" fact: he became the main vocal of BTS at 15. His constant work to improve his voice in the last 10 years of hard work really paid off. Regarding recommendations, here is part of my BTS playlist: - BTS: Dope, Baepsae, Blue and Grey, Born Singer, Black swan, Mic Drop, Spring day, Tomorrow, Fire, Spine Breaker, Butterfly, Louder than bombs, For Youth, We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal - Rap unit: Outro: tear, Cypher 3, Ddaeng (but you need an explanation for this song because it has a lot of Korean subtext - recommend DKDKTV) - Vocal unit: House of Cards, Truth Untold - V: Stigma ,Winter Bear, Singularity - Jimin: Lie, Alone, Serendipity, Letter - Suga: The Last, First Love, Seesaw, Set me free, Polar Nights, People, Interlude: Shadow, Daechwita - Jin: Awake, Moon, Epiphany - RM: Reflection, Forever Rain, Do you, Yun, Change part II - J-hope: Outro: Ego, Daydream, Arson But really, in 10 years, they released about 200+ songs as BTS plus individual albums. Some are great, some are ok and some are meh. Most songs that clicked with me are mainly after Wings album.
Hi dear. 68yo Army here. Before you move onto BTS...you really need to react to JK's live performance of this song on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon...where JK does the full choreo to this song. He also did a live performance on iheart radio but there's not much dancing in that one. But anyway, watch the Jimmy Fallon live performance...I promise you won't be dissapointed.
Yes, this track is like a homage to MJ. All the tracks on the album are fire. Jungkook is confirming his place as the new king of pop. How old are you, JK definitely looks younger. I am in agreement with you over a lot that you said at the end. I think JK is just a young man who has been in a very closed environment for a very long time. This phase will pass but the superb musicianship will remain. Also, I believe all these songs are bought, as opposed to being written by BTS or JK himself.
I'd have to disagree with the 'new king of pop' comment. Michael revolutionised pop in every way, and whilst jk has bangers for sure, his whole album sound is nothing we haven't heard or seen before. Him being insanely popular and using Michael's signature sounds, style and dance moves doesn't qualify him as the "next king of pop" and in my opinion would cheapen the meaning of that title if it did, especially since that title was created specifically _for_ and _because_ of Michael. Other than that, I agree with you. I know JK as a musician is extremely capable and ambitious enough to leave his mark in his own way.
I’ve watched all your BTS reactions and absolutely love them! I hope you see now they have their individual colors but together they turn into avengers/Captain Planet type ish. Like whoooaaaa
As the saying goes never judge a book by it's cover he's sooo amazing as you just found out absolutely brilliant the whole performance jk and his crew I purple you guys 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🫶🫅💜💜
Every inch of this is lifted by MJ spirit whispering Bass & Drum, the ultimate definition of R&B, from above. The man is simply Smart and Brilliant with this tribute to R&B disco.
Bts has always been heavily micheal jackson inspired (alongside other influences). Btw I didn't nessesarily interpret deep like dna sexually I thought it was a nod to their old single 'DNA' 😂 but I guess a double meaning can be interpreted, since words like afterglow and so on are included. And yes, the songs that came out in the last years and are entirely english are given to bts or the members, not written by them. So sometimes the lyrics will lack a bit of bts character that we know. But they still chose these songs and made them their own with their own interpretations to the lyrics just like jungkook did here. Thanks for the reaction. I enjoyed it especially since you seem to know a lot of music and can accurately name and can explain influences well.💜 Btw I also agree with you. Jk has a sex appeal that is really nice but just like you I don't enjoy an over emphasis on it. I agree that this song falls exactly on the sweet spot that fits jks more sensual side.
I'd love to see you check out Hip Hop Phile from them, and also Magic Shop I don't know if you'd love the sound of the song I don't know how much you like that type of sound but the lyrics are some of the most meaningful lyrics to army and it was written by Jungkook and I'd love to just see your thoughts on the lyrics and ofcourse the beautiful vocals! Also side note the only member you haven't done any solo stuff from is Jin I'd be interested in seeing you check out him singing Epiphany live or Awake
😅😂Omg how scary you gave me when you screamed like that. Yes, Jungkook gives me chills and even more so because it takes me back to my childhood and it's like I saw Michael Jackson.
I love that you liked it cuz of his skills and vocals and persona. The song is simple lyrically. Tons of early love songs were. But his presence makes the whole thing work. That’s a pop idol. Can’t wait for your real opinions on BTS group stuff. I have favorites and not faves, so this ARMY awaits those reactions
About the lyrics regarding his other songs, I think you shouldn't judge it by the song alone. He may be portraying a story in his album and each song maybe just a piece of a puzzle. I mean he's from BTS, and most of the time BTS does that on purpose. Take BTS Love Yourself album series for example. The first album was mainly composed of superficial love songs, which is at first kinda odd since it's coming from BTS and BTS doesn't really do shallow lyricism. But when BTS released the 2nd album, the 1st album started to make sense. Then after the 3rd album, that's when you start to understand the message they're trying to portray. So each song wether how superficial or shallow the lyrics are has purpose. Without them their main title track songs wouldn't make any sense.
Omg. I can not wait for you to watch/ listen to my guys. BTS are so underated by those that don't know. Lol. If you are starting from their begining, then you'll be hooked before their first song ends!
As an ARMY, I appreciate that you took the time to check this out. That being said, Jungkook is trying to break away from the young image. So, he is pushing the limits. In South Korea, it's not really an acceptable thing to go out of the box like he's doing. I think it's a breath of fresh air.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
you're gonna react to the guide too? 😭😭😭😭
that's really thoughtful and a great way to know the members better
YES!
The lyrics is good in this song compared to Seven, that song was whack
Jungkook said the entire album was about love, the universal language. The mv director on this video said she wanted a Romeo & Juliet vibe. Note the ‘2 families’ fighting while he’s onstage.

Yep, the album tells the full story of what he's trying to convey.
Romeo and Juliet died. Hardly. 💜💜
Yeah the stage is replicating the image of the stage in opening scenes of the movie. I looked it up and it's actually pretty close!! She did great!
The deeper than the rain, deeper than the pain, deep like DNA is referring to their connection. It even says "something they can't take away take take take take take off". So he is saying they have a soul mate type thingy. So this song is really tame compared to the other 2 lmao

AMEN and AMEN
I am an ARMY and I just enjoy this reaction way too much. Soooooooo exceited that you're finally doing the guide. I hope it drops soon, thank you!
Every time I see Kookie being on his own like this, I can 100% see every one of his hyungs influences in his performances. It is very clear that those that wrote this song did their BTS homework or they made the lyrics work with BTS references. Deep like DNA with the dance move are a definite call back to the BTS song DNA.
@@lealarsen2017 Yes I know that, I just wanted to point that to give More context about JK's album to the reactor...
That explains songs like Seven, 3D, Yes or No etc, those songs really feels radio like songs. Not entirely bad but just doesn't have personality to it, Standing Next to You is pretty good tho one of my fav solo
Congrats to JK for his phenomenal voice/dance. He rocks the world and his ability is so enchanting and to the point. Loved it.❤😊
Believe it or not, the live iHeart version gives off an even funkier 80s vibe. Very stripped down, live band, JK dancing solo, bending notes... it's a thing of beauty.
Agree
He is a real pop star now even bigger than most of them with his perfect dance and vocals 👑
About the "deep than DNA" part, i guess it has a meaning other than what you thought.. i think it need more context because the phrase alone actually does sound questionable.. but the ARMY did understand it in another way cos we have more context, it's a shutout to a bts song called DNA which is about the expression of a young, passionate love between the bts members themselves or towards their fans, and the song is describing that them being together is not a coincidence, in fact it's destiny, when they say :

"I need to go back for his legs man! Did you see the way they wobbled??!" You're killing me🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is by far my favourite reaction video to this song 🙌👏👏👏🔥
If you want to see a performance, you *have* to see the LIVE version of this song from The Tonight Show (Jimmy Fallon). He and the dancers absolutely killed it.
Can't wait for you to react to the guide! I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the members even if you don't end up liking the songs.
There is a choreography version of this, and he has done numerous live performances of this song. IiHeart Radio, Jimmy Fallon, The Today Show. etc. iHeart radio was just Jungkook and a live band, and he did amazing.
BTS songs I think you should try
Black swan, mic drop, on.
Their early songs like no more dream,we are bulletproof pt2 and N.O are also something I would like to see you watch and some b-sides like cypher 1-4 ,hip hop lover, tomorrow, spine breaker, look here and we on
Yessss
rain and house of cards /butterfly /monster by RM ARE A MUSTTTTT
As an avid gamer and a lover of Kpop, this song hits magnificently while driving around at full speed in Cyberpunk 2077. Neon lights wooshing past with this playing in my ears goes unbelievably hard.
Closer to you by JUNGKOOK is so ravishing too , The beat, the melody, the vibe is so fucking perfect!!!! And the way Jungkook is singing makes me ask myself, how did I live before this release? It's not just a song but it's a genius work
I just can't get enough of Closer to you.🙌
I'm so happy to hear that you are finally reading to dig into bts group stuff!! I'm gonna be with you on this journey 💪🏻 LET'S GET IT!!
when I became an army in 2013 I was 17 and jungkook had just turned 16
but for me it still feels like seeing my teenager kid becoming an adult 😂😂 i understand his growth and why he choose to do this style of music, but is still weird somehow
if u check the songs that > he < wrote you'll see why (especially bc they're all dedicated to army or to his bts members), he has the sweetest lyricism
but, yeah, his voice makes ANYTHING sounds golden, my kiddo truly lives up to his name ✨
DNA it's a song from BTS hon. I've been waiting for this reaction from you
Outro: Tear, live from Wembley stadium please.
It’s just the rap line (RM, Suga and J-Hope).
I think you’ll love it!!
Had the biggest smile on my face watching this reaction!!🤩 (PS: DNA is a BTS song! Its the connection with the other members!)
JK said he got this song the day he recorded Seven and recorded it the next day. Amazing!
I’m waiting for your reaction to BTS 🙏🏼💜you going to be amazed by them, and know way BTS is the biggest boy band in the world rn
Thank you and enjoy ❤
And he sounds even better live
Jungkook is growing up! I’m enjoying your journey as a 53yr old Army 😊
Check out Mic Drop, Dionysus, Ugh, On, Black Swan, Fire, DNA … so many
I think the JK you've reacted to so far is the current him trying a more mature concept, especially since he's been infantilized a lot by Army.
He did amazing on this album I think you'd enjoy Hate you and Shot glass full of tears they're more on the sad side but reallyyy good
Also his live performance on Fallon is better than the mv you should check it out
Their fans have never been "young"...
Swan lake?😂😂😂 I'm pretty sure you meant Black Swan.😉
@@Nelle606 OMG, forgive me! I hadn't finished my coffee!!!
i feel like teddy may enjoy spine breaker (just the lyrics) N.O, outro tear, young forever a lot as well.
@@jaellakpopfan8540 Of course! I forgot to include DNA, too!
El ÁLBUM YA ESTÁ DISPONIBLE. Y ESA CANCIÓN YA CUENTA CON REMIXES. JUNGKOOK ES UNA SUPERSTAR 🌟😊
jungkook and Taemin...damn, why do I want to see this so much? It would be amazing!!
Will definitely recommend that you check out ON both the MV and the Kinetic Manifesto Film
Bruno Mars has been doing this vibe since the beginning. Glad everybody catching up to that sound
Just my 2cents and believe it or not; I loved your reaction to enjoying the song!!
I'm here for your BTS journey! Love your other reactions as well! Thanks for what you share! 💜
For a 50 year old like me, this is heaven on earth. Disco nights, funky MJ vibes. Amazing. Yessss, lets go for the Guide!!! Popcorns ready. I swear every reactor and every Army starts dancing the second the music starts. Faces of happiness all around.
That elvis presley jailhouse rock leg thing is awesome
안무 버전도 보길바란다! 오우버!
Please watch his live performances so good and his dance moves perfection
The King would be proud of JK keeping his legacy alive
We ARMY appreciate your honesty
I'm impressive with you.... you really understand about music
💯💯💯
I'm so glad I was able to find a comment like yours, it reflects my sentiments exactly. It's alright to include swearing and sexual lyrics in your songs, but you can easily do so without being degrading towards a group of people who already are continuously the subject of such lyrics. It's such a massive and unoriginal bore. Like, for all the sht bts got with their song 'War of Hormone' you'd think jk would be considerate or at least more aware of such issues by now 🤷♀
And swearing can indeed add to the rawness in songs, but in jk's songs it feels like it's just done for the purpose of wanting to be seen as a bad boy, as if to say "look guys I'm an adult now, I can say bad words and talk about sex now!" which is backed up by his fans saying that jk wants to step away from his cutesy image and be seen as a grown adult. So yeah, seven, 3d, could've been crafted with more thought honestly. So I'm glad that standing next to you is the main title track from my understanding.
I could swear I've heard that begging part before I just can't find the song, either that or it's just the 80s in me.
But that "tu tu tu, tu, tu tururu" on 4:08 - 4:18 I'm pretty sure that's from Warren G - regulate
Song is fire tho
In Jungkook’s defense, he didn’t write the lyrics. Nice reaction 😁💜
this is my fave song in the whole album like it just hit
Teddy please please please check Jungkook 's "Hate you" and " Shot Glass of Tears ". Maybe it's not your style but I really think you will like it.
I predict he'll be nominated for a Grammy and even perform this very song at that same event. Mark my words. 👏 👏 👏 ❤
Thank you for shouting out the dancers everyone of them is famous in their on right. I was amazed at the talent on this video
Our Golden Maknae 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
i hope you read this. Im gonna put some of my favorites because I am more in favor of the sadder and more "deep" songs BTS have, ill put a list:
Rain (bts first album DARK&WILD)
Let Me Know (DARK&WILD)
Tomarrow (SKOOL LUV AFFAIR)
Spine Breaker (SKOOL LIV AFFAIR)
generally any song off of HYYH or Wings but ill put my favs
Blood Sweat and Tears (Wings album)
2!3! (WINGS)
Autum Leaves (HYYH)
Young Forever (HYYH)
Hold Me Tight (HYYH)
Whalien 52 (HYYH)
Butterfly [my personal fav] (HYYH)
House of Cards (HYYH)
Sea [its a hidden song but its on Love Yourself; Her]
Jamais Vu (Map of the Soul: Persona)
Louder than Bombs (Map of the Soul: 7)
We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal ( Map of the Soul: 7)
BlackSwan (MOTS: 7)
00:00 (MOTS: 7)
Blue & Grey (BE)
Dis-ease (BE).
Born SInger [was made 7 years ago but they finally put it on an album in 22] (PROOF)
_____________________________________________________
I know its a lot of songs not asking for them all at once lol but they are very good and I think you may like some of them.
This song is to his bandmates , lyrics like deep like DNA is to BTS song DNA
There BTS all over this video too from things in the choreography(moves from other songs) or costumes (black wings from black swan song from BTS) and it’s just a masterpiece. If you know you know! This is why I love being army.
The angel wings it's another reference to a BTS song/album. This album is Golden, he didn't wrote it, he wanted to get them from English speaking artists. Ed Sheeran and Shawn Mendes to say 2
Please react to standing next to you live performance on the Jimmy Fallon show! It shows the choreo even more and his vocal talent!!
Regarding recommendations, here is part of my BTS playlist:
- BTS: Dope, Baepsae, Blue and Grey, Born Singer, Black swan, Mic Drop, Spring day, Tomorrow, Fire, Spine Breaker, Butterfly, Louder than bombs, For Youth, We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal
- Rap unit: Outro: tear, Cypher 3, Ddaeng (but you need an explanation for this song because it has a lot of Korean subtext - recommend DKDKTV)
- Vocal unit: House of Cards, Truth Untold
- V: Stigma ,Winter Bear, Singularity
- Jimin: Lie, Alone, Serendipity, Letter
- Suga: The Last, First Love, Seesaw, Set me free, Polar Nights, People, Interlude: Shadow, Daechwita
- Jin: Awake, Moon, Epiphany
- RM: Reflection, Forever Rain, Do you, Yun, Change part II
- J-hope: Outro: Ego, Daydream, Arson
But really, in 10 years, they released about 200+ songs as BTS plus individual albums. Some are great, some are ok and some are meh. Most songs that clicked with me are mainly after Wings album.
This is a typical army who is really a Suga fan and trying to get people who love JK to like Suga too 🙄
@@Pshakess What?? :)) Go outside, touch some grass. That mental gymnastics was a bit too much.
No, it's just facts. @@ionelac3487
There are no mental gymnastics involved in facts. @@ionelac3487
JK was so sensual in this mv, those fierce contact looks..
'Deeper than DNA' and the angel wings are references to BTS songs
Jungkook blessed me w/his
ANGELIC VOCALS ❤it❤
As the saying goes never judge a book by it's cover he's sooo amazing as you just found out absolutely brilliant the whole performance jk and his crew I purple you guys 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🫶🫅💜💜
I never thought Mr.teddy with be vibing JK’s MV I’m laughing
Every inch of this is lifted by MJ spirit whispering Bass & Drum, the ultimate definition of R&B, from above. The man is simply Smart and Brilliant with this tribute to R&B disco.
Don't forget his little "uh uh uh"'s towards the end, a sound Michael does repeatedly 😂
I enjoyed it especially since you seem to know a lot of music and can accurately name and can explain influences well.💜
Btw I also agree with you.
Happy that you discovered jungkook and BTS😭🙏🏻 Don't missed this experience in your life
Jk is 26 now, he was 15 when they debuted.
Motown in the summer 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 why did I love that description so Much!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Throughly enjoyed this reaction! 💜
Teddy take a look at the whole album “Goldon “
you’ll be surprised honestly 💜💜💜
I swear that's Taehyung aka V singing background.
I’m two months late but the “why is this bit so ‘80s?” question is answered by 1982’s ‘Maneater’ by Hall & Oates.
Thanks for the reaction ,bro ❤️🩹🫂
I wish you reacted to the choreographed version!!
