I've ridden one wide wheel bike and it feels so stable on road due do wheelbase and tire size, but the downside I felt was chain backlashing, because in normal bikes the real wheel sprocket is directly to the gearbox sprocket. However in fat tyre bike there is an intermediate sprocket between the gearbox sprocket and the rear wheel sprocket and you could hear the chain spinning noise much more when compared to regular bikes.
Just because people have different preferences doesn't give you the right to hate.
All the haters here acting like they really be dragging knee on public roadways. Stop it. The bit of handling lost with a extended arm and wide tire isnt that much of a difference in the streets. Going over 300 wide makes a difference tho but still manageable.

I own one on a Busa. Cornering @ moderate speeds is barely noticeable. Forget about tight turns because of rhe swing arm. Small cost considering the trust of power coming out of the turn, especially with a tune and power commander. Add air suspension and you've got the best of everything. Looks, stance and power. Nomatter what anybody says, the 320 is the new normal especially on a Busa.

No. Bikes like the zx13 and hayabusa were NOT designed for circuits. From the drawing board, they’ve been a straight line bike.
@@CaptainTyler-xi9zs theres no such thing as a zx13. There's a zx12r and a zx14r. Those bikes are super tourers and corner quite well for their size and weight. They are not just designed for straight lines.

@ 4:45...is tht an actual 14 or a dressed-up 12?...looks good thou...shuld have been matte ash...seen another 12 with a ZX10R headlight, screen and fairing- what a beauty. Id actually buy a 12 and dress it up...it looks so good and streamlined compare to 14 but not as cramped as a 10 on a big dude...

You obviously don't own one . I still corner with the best of them. 330 OSD on my Gen 2 busa! I actually come out of the corners faster now. I will admit, it took some getting used to. It was like a new bike all over again. New geometry...
To be completely honest, I also have Air Ride & mime is only 4 over. Due to the exaggerated tail section, my rear wheel is still under the bike! You can only tell it's a 330 from rear at first glance. "I DON'T STRETCH FOR THE STREET!"
@@TONEYHAYWOOD Maybe you can corner with the best of them but you could corner better with a narrower tire. I wouldn't have a Busa anyway. I would go with a ZX14R if I wanted a big bike that was strictly for speed and bragging rights at the drag strip but neither one of those are perfect sport bikes. Plenty of speed and acceleration but a lighter bike is much more capable of going through curves quickly like an H2. Busas are ugly with the hump back
@@richardmaxwell5371 The Hayabusa is NOT a sport bike. The ZX-14's mid-section is just as ugly as the Busa's tail section. The Busa's tail section is very ugly though(agreed). The wide tire on the rear does normalize it though. I will post mine when I get it out of storage. The ZX-14'S aren't beating Busa's in a straight line either. That myth came & went very fast. That's why you don't hear anyone still saying that. That's also why people moved on to comparing it to the H2. If the 14 killed it, why compare it to an even better competitor?
@@TONEYHAYWOOD Sport tourers agreed. I'm glad that you recognize that the hump is ugly. Maybe you are right about the wide tire to draw attention away from the hump. I disagree that the midsection of the ZX14R is ugly. I didn't say that it beat the Busa but they are very close in performance. I would say even. I just honestly hate the hump. Performance is okay but the looks are important too since you are on display on a motorcycle. Don't get me wrong. I would have a Busa in a pinch.

Of course the compound would make a difference. Best straight line performance would be a slick as are on fuel bikes of course with low tire pressure. I wouldn't have a tire that wide no matter what unless it was strictly a drag bike and then I would have a slick and wheelie bars.
