For no reason, either. Like, what does someone stand to gain by not having strong competition? Being a producer is about making good music; who says you need to be the one to make it.
I don't produce music or understand half the terms he uses but I love watching how Au5 makes his music. It is so fascinating and the attention to detail in his music is incredible.
The details in this are absolutely insane and that Massive basspad really makes the chordstacks shine. Thank you Austin for all the walkthroughs and tutorials.
Notification squad! Yet another High level tutorial. Going into music production, i'm realizing more and more how difficult what he is doing actually is. My respect keeps growing everyday for you. Keep it up Au5-sama!
it is difficult but not impossible to learn i do this for 5 years and then i bought myself a FL studio 20 with some third party plugins. the most difficult of music production is the arrrangement when you finished your music theory and your sound design everything is verry clear. To watch this process.
That first drop is one of the best things I ever heard ngl... Even tho it might be a bit harsh in the context of the song but the drop itself is amazing, aggressive Sounddesign with an emotional lead, so fucking good
Dubstep isn't a genre I produce or listen to, but I've got huge respect for you and your peers. The crazy things you can do with Ableton inspires me a lot!
Thank you so much for your music production quality..I just wanted to let you know that you have inspired a teenager who loves your music. Regardless of her autism and dysfunctional socialism..just know that you have made this beautiful girl happy every day..
I've totally fell in love with this track. I can't even count how many times I've listened to it in last couple days. From the beginning to the end. I adore the vibe and production quality.
Oh my god!!!!!!! I recently keep listening to this song and I was wondering how the drop was made for a long time. Thank you Au5!!!!!! I will be your fan forever!
You guys really nailed this song!! I was sleeping on it until I heard Jason Ross play it in one of his sets a couple weeks ago and it grabbed my attention right away. Been on repeat ever since. It had been a while since I felt this moved by a melodic bass song. So many different melodies that all work together and of course just all around top notch production and sound design. As far as the tutorial, thank you for this Austin! Really inspiring and gives me a lot to work for on my journey to produce a decent song one day.
Thank you for making this kind of video! Having a producer as amazing as you showing your "secrets" is something very important for the development of the scene! 😄🙏
I am listlening to your music since 2012 when i was 12. I remember playing minecraft hunger games when they were still a thing and i was always listening to your music while playing... Man this gives me so much nostalgia thinking about it. As time passed I eventaully started listening to rap and hip hop as it kept raising in popularity but at the end of the day i always come back and listen to your music au5. litterly gives me so many feelings and never gets boring. It "clean" my brain from bad thoughts (i dont know how to put it in better words. my english is really trash so sorry for that but I really want to thank you man you are the best!
Austin, any chance of us getting Tipper sound design tutorials in the next edition of the School of Bass? I've been hankering for them ever since seeing that Cubic Squeal deconstruction on Facebook.
Its my first time producing melodic dubstep and after I look at Au5 project,I'm sure my project is way more "insane" than him. I love you Au5 keep up the good work!!
Wow what a production collab. This seemed really involved in both parties. It seems Tritonal gave a lot of freedom and trusted your process and your taste in the portions you provided to this production. That Autopan flutter is a really cool effect! gotta figure that out.
man, i hope one day i can reach this level of production and quality...and learn how to better mix and master lol this was a very inspirational walkthrough! thanks for sharing! 💙
@Au5 please please teach us how to make crazy crazy bass fills. I remember you had recorded length basses and has different crazy bass please do a video on that.
Hey Austin, this piece rocks! What is your approach to exchanging files and tracking iterations? Once you bounce and send stems to your collaborators, are you leaving your own version untouched until you hear back from them? Any other recommendations for a successful collab?
You do great work! Thank you for your music! ❤️ Will you ever create something light, kind and alive again like Snowblind or Eden with same (or any) vocalists?
Hey bro. Can you look into that false claim you have on my video. Ive made my own music for 20 years so I don't need anyones work. Its annoying me right now a bit. Bless
I'm trying to recreate the wide bass, but it's not coming out sounding like it. It looks like you have a couple of eqs after that massive patch, I'm guessing maybe there is like some comb or flange filtering going on in those, could you share that if you get a chance? Thanks again for sharing! :)
22:05 and that's why i don't listen to rap music.. gets boring after listening to it 3 times. And that's why Au5 is a god as well as tritonal for me personally in the music industry cause there sound design and how they put the songs together are always evolving!
good shit as always brother is it possible to put reiteration on spotify? it's one of my favorites of yours and I think one of the only ones not on that platform
I'd love to see a session or Daw Nation course from you for Razor! You seem to get so much amazing stuff out of it and your serum wavetables generated from Razor are out of this world, but I just can't seem to get anything dope out of it, ha.
I feel like every time I watch one of your videos, my production IQ goes up by a couple of points. Today's tidbit of knowledge was the vocoder in noise mode
No fucking way I finally know what you look like after 7 years 😍 . I'd sell my house to learn what you do. You and Fractal are honestly the best cosmic DJs this universe has ever created . I call it Lovestep💫 and id make it all for my TwinFlame . just so she can feel my Love 😭
Not usually. I'll check individual group with a stereo spectrum analyzer to make sure nothing is too out of place, and sometimes put the whole mix in mono and check by ear to see if anything is lacking.

@@baronvonbeandip indeed, you said it better than I could.
In a highly competitive scene where being able to make a living makes you "lucky" it's no wonder why people hide their production secrets.

Great tutorial of a great track! 🚀

It's such a shame that the original first drop was axed. it's sooooooooooooooo good
