After three months I can say that this is a very nice microscope. I did move the head over to my existing boom arm stand because if you already have one, that makes sense and personally I do prefer that to the platform assuming that you are going to remain stationary. The platform stand is great for portability if you need to move or transport the scope for any reason. One of my favorite features is the increased field of view. That makes it easier to see more without moving anything on your work surface. The head is 100% compatible with, and in my opinion, superior to, the AmScope SM-4TPZ.
does the camera show live view while you work in stereo mode? In a lot of trinocular cameras I have used in the past, you had to block the view from one of the oculars (so you work in mono, not stereo) in order to get video out from the camera.
Very good and informative video, thank you! It helps me a lot towards making my choice :). I have a question regarding the camera you are using on top of the microscope. Would you mind to share it's model/specification?!
Sure thing. Right now I am using the Hayear 14mp Tv Hdmi USB Industry Digital C-Mount Microscope Camera Tf Video Recoder DVR with a Digital Industry Microscope Camera Stereo Microscope 1/1 CTV CCD Adapter C-Mount 38mm to 25mm Connector C/CS Adapter.
Very Good review. I have queries in regards to the eye pieces and I have seen this type of eye pieces on another model RF4. Once your eyes adjusted distance is done between the eyepieces to suit individual's. What is stopping it from moving from the adjusted position? Can you easily knock them out of adjustment or you have to adjust them very often to suit your eye distance. Moreover, does the top eye pieces move freely like on the traditional ones which are held in place by screws. Does this one move freely and is something holding them so they do not come off accidently. Is there screws there?
There is sufficient tension to keep the IPD in place so that you should not be able to accidentally knock it out of adjustment. The eye pieces do move freely similar to traditional scopes of this type. They are seated almost a full inch into the head so it seems unlikely that they would come out unless maybe they got caught on something. The only thing that I can think of is maybe people with long hair..? The rubber covers at the end that keep light from leaking in are very snug. More so than my other microscopes. Overall, I am really impressed by the design of this one. The only part that isn't really that big of a deal in my opinion is the fan. A separate fume extractor is more effective.
Hayear 14mp Tv Hdmi USB Industry Digital C-Mount Microscope Camera Tf Video Recorder DVR. I've had it for a while now so there's likely a newer/better model.

Yes it does. Make sure that what you get is “simul-focal.”

Где вы купили такую подставку ?
If you mean the microscope, there is a link in the video description. If you mean the boom stand, it came from AmScope.
@@GoCellPhoneRepair спасибо большое thak you very much.
Как микроскоп,стоит покупать?
I bought it, and it's still good
Before I bought it, I watched the video of Go Cell Phone Repair and another blogger, The Radio Shop. I thought I could trust it, so I chose it.
