I spent just under an hour weathering my apache build with this. Then I airbrushed water based matt acrylic clear coat to preserve. When the clear coat dried, the weathering I spent hour has dissolved and disappeared 🙃 did it all over again.
Very nice tutorial. I have all the sets and use them regularly on my kits together with other tools like AK weathering pencils or various enamel washes.
I love using this stuff.i put a bit on everything i have built id say. I thought the guy at my hobby shop said they stopped producing this product.i only have one "for Japanese,NavyShips"
How to rewet or rejuvenate the palette? Mine seems to have dried up that the sponge or brush can't pick up any pigment. I've tried water, alcohol but none seem to work.
is this permanent or it can be rubbed? im planning to use it on an action figure, im wondering if it will get wiped off little by little everytime i pose the figure
I really wanna try getting into gunpla and doing weathering effects. Does the weathering powder last long or do i need to apply some sort of top coat when i'm done to make sure it doesn't dissolve/come off?
I usually cover it with pigments and put the model on the shelf, I don't touch it. But if you want, you can cover it with varnish on top, but this can worsen the quality of the effect.
Based on the cost, the affect is not worth the investment, there are plenty of old school techniques that last longer and are not as tedious to work with.
I have the entire set and love them. I use them on every build.
Yeah, cool stuff!
Do you use G and H?
@@kaptkrunchfpv No..I didn't even know they had a G & H. I thought I had them all because I bought the "set" which consists of A-F
Great tutorial. Short, sweet, to the point.
Thanks! Glad it was helpful!
Looks great on tires
Thank you for feedback!

I prefer not to use varnish on top of pigments.

Thanks a lot for your feedback!
Thanks! Id love to see the proper way to use the other 6 in the set. Especially H and G.
Thanks! As soon as I have it on hands, I'll test it

Yeah! I like it as well. You can find it in Hobby Shops, on AliExpress as well.
@@FORTworkshop thank you
This is basically makeup, if it ever runs out you can buy eye shadow palette in military colors and it'll do the same
do we need to top coat it after we weathering it?
From my experience, a Matt/flat topcoat makes the powder easier to adhere to the surfaces
so... basically drybrushing?
Looks good do I need to apply gloss coat before using this?
No need
the question is can it still works without the paint (just a starter on modeling)
How do you preserve it after you've done weathering so it doesn't disappear?
I just put the model on a shelf, or put it in a disply case and don’t touch it
Do you need pigment fixer for this or does it stay on the model?

I'm not sure if it's suitable for action figures, the pigment wears off if you will touch it all the time
@@FORTworkshop thank you so much!!
Just seal the figure with a matte or gloss spray afterwards.

How to solve hardening pigments?
how do I seal it off? can I use topcoat after?
I don't cover it with anything to make it look more realistic.
What do you do to make it semi wet
Nothing, apparently this is the composition of the pigment
@FORTworkshop I find it has very little adhearance if any, I'm going to try artist pastels which has more ahearance and cheaper.
В кратце говоря, как тени жены использовать в моделизме ))) а по финалу лаком вскрывать нужно?
Ну тут на Ваше усмотрение. Но я думаю лак может повлиять на окончательный вид. Я не покрывал.
