His voice sounds strong and he is surviving and getting along. He’s just getting started on his time. He’s still thinking like a celebrity. In time he’ll likely settle down and just serve his time so he doesn’t make things harder for himself or get what privileges he has taken away with shopping in the commissary. Those guards are the rulers there.

The things he's talking about happening happen to people all over the county in prisons . Mothers and grandmothers pay constantly extortion money. The food in facilities have always been like this. They will show on their web pages these colorful meal trays but that's not what they are getting served. Most families can't afford alot of money on the commissary and the phone. Plus their fees are outrageous. Live snakes, mice, and rats as large as cats. People speak up all the time in the south and of course you will hear the same bs line do the crime do the time. No where in their sentences from a judge does it say they are to have all those things done to them. The judge says they are in the CARE and custody of what ever state or federal custody. This is how America takes care of its people. In prison, jail, the mentally ill, the elderly, and the homeless. While we take care of the rest of the world. I wish them the best. I pray he doesn't feel the repercussions from this but I feel he will. They are spiteful.

Police or a sheriff. They won't let them in.All Gaurds ,Worden's , nurses ,lie for each other.Someone hospitalized by beatings for guards ,inmates etc.yiu can not visit your loved one no matter how long they are in the "so called" hospital,if hospitalized at all.Their call privileges are taken so they can't tell and they all so can be placed on lock down and be beaten severely more.........if they die...lies are told !😮

Prisons are their own world they make their own laws and they do what they want to prisoners when they want. America needs to get that through their head this isn't like going to camp you will be mistreated when you go to prison the food is terrible the abuse happens on a daily basis the filth is beyond what you could imagine. They all need to be humbled, as far as I’m concerned. Being on tv, doesn’t give you the right to not pay taxes, commit fraud, cheat on the wife with another man, really everything he does always makes want to slap the taste out of his mouth. No one put him there except he and himself. The whole family needs to stop blaming everyone else and acting like they’re perfect. They weren’t put in there bc of their good deeds and had it been someone else, they’d be talking junk about how that person needed to be in prison. I feel that Nanny is the only normal one that has common sense in the crowd. I hate it for her and the young kids, but Todd and Julie knew they had 2 more kids to raise when they committed all the crimes. Nanny doesn’t go around to all the podcasts and say they are innocent and don’t deserve to be in prison. At least, I haven’t heard her say it anywhere. I think she knows they’re guilty and that you always have consequences for your bad behavior!

I agree with everything you said. Prisons are not supposed to be enjoyable. Prison are made for you to be uncomfortable and have all the fine things and privileges that you ever had stripped from you. It is a punishment. If the conditions are that terrible, I do hope when he gets out, he uses his voice to advocate for others in prison. That would show his heart has truly changed. I think he’s used to having whatever he wants when he wants it. It’s kind of a case of riches to rags and it’s very unpleasant for somebody that’s used to living a lifestyle like his.

For all the people complaining on here the food should be better (which I will say yes it should be to some degree), if inmates were getting what Chrisley is expecting, they'd flip their lid. Prison isn't band camp. It's not some lush rehab getaway on a tropical island. it's meant to deter crime. If people lived and ate better in prison, and made more money in prison, than the outside, every one would be fighting to get IN. Sorry Chrisley can't have his conjugals and his mother to do his laundry, but he DOES need a little humility since he thinks he's a king.

Does anyone think the daughter IS paying monthly for his security? Is it a thing in prisons that families pay an inmate or guard to protect their loved one?

Yes it a thing. There was a mom just recently asking for help her son just got to GA prison. She was sent pictures of her son beat and tied up , she's being extorted for money. It's had been going on for days. If you don't come up with the money they continue to beat and rape them. He's in the hospital now. Many go through this. Look up Alabamas prisons and what's going on. They haven't even give an update since June of their deaths. It was around 190 then.

I agree. He's just now finding out what thousands of people in prison have been putting up with for ages. He's just loud about it and appalled because he's never known anything other than high-class privilege. It's not worse for him than anyone else in there.

Reach out to the legislators for that area. I’m not sure they need to make appt. They could make a fairly thorough investigation. I’ve heard of this being done in another prison and the upper staff were very concerned. They didn’t want to be caught. I didn’t hear the results of that investigation. From what I understand, they may have walked in unannounced due to the information they had. Not sure if that could work, but I think that’s what they did.

Does this millionaire tax evader think he's having his daughter expose something new about jails? Jails are there for profits, not to provide 5 star accommodations. I do have compassion for your youngest kids, some, but your family has some type of support team, so it won't be too hard of a struggle for them besides missing their parents, compared to a lot of kids who don't have anything & their parents are locked up for way less compared to your wife & you. 🙏🏾✌🏾

As long as the cans are not leaking, swollen, or all rusted, canned food is good for several years after expiration, or best by date. The texture or taste might change a bit.

I really believe that Julie is a Christian and I don’t think she purposely engaged in criminal behavior, and now it’s too late!! It isn’t fair!! They are not hardened criminals and they deserve a second chance. Somebody needs to help them!!!
