- During the mission Firestarter in Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty you can side with Songbird and Still get Hansen's pistol and LMG Bald Eagle and Wild Dog if you follow this route! Do this quick before they patch it. if you have any issues just comment and I'll help best I can.

Like this comment if it worked for you! From my experience from helping other people with this is that you need to not mess up conversation with Kurt and it might take a few reloads to have the door open.

So I had the same issue as others - door closed even though LEDs were green indicating that door can be opened. I had save just after finishing talks with Hansen and no matter what I did door were closed. I then loaded earlier save from garage and redid talk with Hansen. This time I chose only 1 signle option differently - I accepted offer for arms trade instead of grabing his gun. It appears it was more in character as twins are all about getting more money. And because of that I didn't get 2 additional blue dialogues with Songbird down in lab, one of which was previously saying that Hansen suspects something. So I think 2 things are at play here:
- currently you have to get perfect conversation to have door unlocked
- it is still a bug, either door should be always open or have red LEDs if you screw up conversation
Solution: load from before talking to Hansen and get perfect score. If you get blue dialogue option during conversation with Songbird in lab after connecting to matrix which causes you to say that Hansen suspects something, you screwed up and you have to redo the conversation.
In my vid I still got blue text while talking to songbird I just didn't click it. I'm 99% it all depends on the convo with Hansen upstairs. Glad it worked for you!
STILL WORKS OF 10/17/23 EDIT: JUST DID IT ON A SEPARATE PLAYTHROUGH AND MESSED UP THE CONVO WITH KURT ON PURPOSE AND THE DOOR WAS OPEN FIRST TRY
30/12/2023, still works. Got it first try while getting all answers right and went straight for the door as soon as Alex finished shooting the glass.

On PC: I reloaded the save BEFORE the elevator, by the guards that let you in initially before you talk to Murphy, and it worked first try for me. Did everything correct in the convo with Kurt, male player character.
This just worked for me an hour ago (post 2.01 patch) but took six or seven tries. In each attempt I was trying different answers that weren't the "spy interrogation questions" to see if that mattered. Also after the first 2-3 tries I began restarting from an earlier autosave outside the room when talking to Murphy, not sure if that mattered. In the attempt that worked I basically b-lined for the crates and got up and to the door as fast as I possibly could whereas the previous attempts I waited for the helicopter prompt and chose that op-tion like in this video. Probably didn't matter and was most likely just bug/glitch rng but figured I'd state it just in case.
I'm really starting to think the door is just bugged and not sure if it's intended to be open OR closed. Another thing to note is how Hansen's body is literally just a box with his shirt model
Hey everyone. I got this to work. I didn't need to get 100% in the dialogue choices with Hansen. Just as you get the option to spin the helicopter blades, jump up to the crates and to the door. It'll be open already. Don't use the helicopter blades prompt btw, just jump straight for the door. I'm in ps5, update 2.01. This works.
same for me, if you go straight to the door it is open

but I've come to the conclusion that NONE OF THIS MATTERS and the door is simply just BUGGED and i don't know if CDPR intended the door to be Open OR Closed. There is evidence for both sides.
Kurt's body turns into a box with his NPC model texture around it.
The Knife isn't there because Either Alex uses it to kill Kurt and it despawns
OR because V loots it automatically after YOU fight Kurt and kill him during the finisher animation
The Synergy that Fang and Bald Eagle have meaning you Should get both?
Honestly I don't know at this point. I've reloaded this situation atleast 40 times now on both Male and Female Characters.
Most of the time the door is open for me, idk if the fact I'm on PS5 matters but whenever the door is closed for me is if I purposely take my time in the lab or progress further in the stadium and come back to the door.
Okay, I’m on PS5, and just got it to work. I and was having many of the same issues as you guys.
Make sure you go to a save right before the elevator, BEFORE Murphy comes out. When you’re walking down the hallway, that’s how far back you have to go.
Previously, I went to a save starting in the elevator, and I was still getting the locked green door. And grenades didn’t work, either.
I’m playing as the brother, and got the Hansen convo perfect. He cannot question you at any point.
OK. i reloaded this like 14 times. here’s what worked for me, I played as Aurore:
Make sure you reload from the elevator with Murphy, i can confirm reloading from the room with Hansen won’t work as i tried the exact same dialogues in both contexts.
I touched his arm and said it was my first time being hungover for business.
I took a vodka shot “well said” but didn’t take my brothers shot.
I asked who the friend was and said i didn’t know any Raquel.
I did not touch his gun, said it was an interesting offer but then said it was impossible for us.
I also said FIA was still interested in him.
and of course Kerry Eurodyne but that’s obvious.
I watched alex kill hansen until she shot at the glass then made my way to the door to leave. when SoMi opened it i did not ask her to run the helicopter prompt i just beelined upstairs to the old room. FINALLY the door was opened.
someone said that a grenade opened their closed door. that didn’t work for me.
Hope this helps!!! i found it tough as 90% of players are men it was hard to find Aurore dialogue walk through.

This worked for me as female V.
I followed the prompts and ran straight up, climbing over the boxes once so mi opened the door. I got Hansen’s weapons.
It worked for me first try and the funny thing is that I was expecting to have to do it multiple times to get it to work
Kinda sucks you don't get fang meaning that you can't trigger bald eagle's iconic effect but hey its still a good gun with or without it
And wild dog is a pretty underrated iconic

Although I was unable to get the weapon I found something interesting. I got the door to open by getting So Mi to walk towards it and open it for me. Was annoying and took a few loads, but seems like good info nonetheless.
The weapon wasnt there??
@@Unholy187 nah I was just fuckin dumb, I came back after a few loads to get her to open it and found it, apparently I was searching the wrong part of the room, knife still isn’t there btw.

It only works if you get every answer with Hansen right it seems... Before, I got everything right except the car model, but managed to convince Hansen with cool 20 - the door was locked still. After a reload and getting everything right the door was open. Kinda sucks IMO it should be open anyway, the game expects me to remember a quest I did 2 years ago...
Yo on ps5 here, no matter the convo or anything that damn door was closed. Shout out to the homie about the grenade, however the only nade to work from me was the smoke. Popped right open and got the guns. Oct 14 2023 working
I had the door closed on my side, but throwing a grenade at it opened it, just so you know.

Yeah I wish we could aswell especially since bald eagle has a synergy with the Knife fang even tho that synergy isn't great.
It seems that you have to answer the questions correctly and it still doesn’t always spawn, it’s weird but definitely not a bug,it’s deliverate so that you only get the loot by doing everything right

@@Unholy187 tried multiple times then stumble on your vid then a couple more runs to get it to work, the loot box is always there after Hansen died when you scanned the floor after his death, however the door isn’t always open, the only thing changed is my dialogue option. And to me the opening dialogues which shouldn’t affect the story might affect the door opening. After all you don’t get his knife in the songbird run regardless, so it’s meant to be looted, oh yeah there are different opening dialogue scenario which contains info that you need to understand Hansens backstory to answer correctly, which is not in any guide online,also there’s an additional relic point, throwing out there so that somebody needs help might find a solution
Btw is it just me or does the box the guns are in look like Hansen's shirt? Notice it has the little strap from the back of his shirt? Also since his body isn't there
when you betrayed songbird you get :
- the fang
- the bald eagle
- the wild dog
- the erebus OR the militech canto mk 6
- the max tac mantis blade
while if you follow her you get :
- the bald eagle
- the wild dog
- the murphy's law (totally lame if you ask me)
- the pariah
- the quantum tuner
The Max tac mantis blade is a rare drop off any max tac mantis user. You can get those regardless
@@Unholy187wait so if I farm max tac agents and kill ones with mantis blades they could potentially drop them?
@abirmawi2808 Yeah. Its kinda rare tho. There is a side quest involving a cyberpsycho attacking a store and you can kill the max tac agent outside after talking to her. Ive heard she can guarantee it. But i personally got them while bored killing max tac near jig jig street.

I got all answers right and didn't get the Hansen suspects dialogue but it didn't work. The only thing that worked for me was reloading an earlier save right before following Murphy into the lounge. Then got all answers right and straight away went for the door and it was open.
tldr; reload to an earlier save before the lounge when you were with murphy and play as per normal. it should work.
Can confirm this works if you redo the convo with hansen and do not have the "Hansen suspects something" option while talking to songbird the door will be open.
I'm not sure if this changed after 2.01 but I always got the "Hanson suspects something" option even with correct answers. I even tried switching my roulette won/lost answer just in case. Either way, the door was open for me on my 6th-8th try, all of which had the "Hanson suspects something" choice.
@Illumin411 I redid the convo and the only thing I changed was to not say anything about the FIA trying to interfere or w/e and then theb"Hansen suspects something" was not available and the door was open. They did change a lot with 2.01 so maybe this was changed.

Last Question: Cannot introduce Kurt to the french crime organization because of Bounty
they really improved the story presentation from the original game
this scene was emotionally intense
where as the only meaningful choice in the original was romance/who to go to the tower with - it was less emotionally involved because the different people don't know eachother... (e.g. Takemura dont know Rogue dont know Panam - or at least have any extensive history with Panam etc) so even though it was a choice, the choice only felt significant for V, not the other characters so much...
This whole expansion had such a good story. It all feels so real. Especially the dynamic between the main characters, their motives are all different and aren't one dimensional at all. I think siding with Songbird here is the best path personally but it's debatable.
The music helps a ton during the heavy moments aswell.

But when I do it when I do the conversation right I can see the box when I go back up to the stairs I can see it there on the floor but when I go to the door it shows green but it's not letting me go through
Try throwing a grenade at the door? Somebody said that worked for them. Just try reloading before talking to kurt. If you're on ps5 I'd be willing to hop on a share play with you to help out

My door is closed
Keep reloading to before you sit down and talk to kurt. Don't mess up the conversation at all. You can even go up the stairs on the right side of the room where you talk to songbird and look through the window where kurt and alex were standing and scan the floor to see if the box is there. I promise it still works but it seems to kinda weird I'm not 100% sure what triggers the door but you can also try having songbird spin the chopper roters like I did in the video

So i think what happens is you need a savw before you go in to talk to Hansen because once the soors are closed and you reload a save after within the room or afrer the door vlosing it bugs, you dont need perfect dialogue thing.

Try reloading your save a few times. I'm not 100% sure but I think you need to answer Kurt's questions with no mistakes

@@Unholy187 pc with geforce now. I sided with so mi and just couldnt get back to the lounge regardless whether i sneaked my way there without enemies noticing or killed all enemies with gun/stealth. Perhaps its a bug.
I just did it after your first comment (I have a save literally right where you sit down with kurt) to see if anything changed. The door is still open for me. My friend had the door closed and it took us a few reloads but it worked for him. Try this. Go to the stairs on the right of where you make the choice and look through the window where kurt and alex are and scan the floor and see if the box is even there.
@@Unholy187 it was a bug. Patch 2.02 states that this is now fixed.

Dang it. Nevermind. The playthrough I did right after this post worked. Lmao idk why... answered the questions right but u skipped all the dialogs for everyone. Still got the dialog about hansen suspecting but I think that is scripted no matter what. Even if you answer everything right lol. Knife wasn't there but that's okay. I don't use throwing knives. I use pistols.
