Mudflaps are a 50/50 deal, especially here in Canada. They only protect 5 inches back from the wheelwell. Your back bumper and and fender just in front of it, and up inside by the taillights will still get full of junk. Plus screwholes will rot because the hold salt. Undercoat thick & often.

Yes you are right!! I've drop down 1.5 inches my rear mudflap and now it spreads only 3 inches on my rear bumper
What is the part number? did you you have to trim or cut them? Where did you buy them?
