I much prefer these low profile vent visors over the in channels but due to the back vent visor protruding past the rear window is a no-go for me. I went with the EGR in channels instead.

How do they hold up over time? I've read that sticking them to the weather stripping does not work because they come loose and rattle. What was your experience?

Bonjour Etienne .....On the 2024 Ford Maverick XL Hybrid the left harness is as you stated yellow led strip wire to white with green strip wire on the right wiring its DIFFERENT as the manufacturer may have changed the wire colors. The green led strip wire from the strip light wires into the gray/violet and it works great! Special note as the running lights on the Hybrid are nonfunctional the installer may cut the brown wire at the very place where the trailer plug starts and then use it with a splice into the green wire to make it long enough to reach the right tail light harness! Just found your video! THANK YOU.... MERCI !!! I have been looking for this for a while as the new Maverick I have when the universal trailer hookup is inserted it senses the connect and turns off blind spot protection and another safety function! I really appreciate your easy to see video on the actual wiring into the tail lights so that the computer does not sense the light strip! Good job!!!

Nice. I'd design and 3d print some plastic trim pieces for either side of the light to give it a more finished look but nice job. Seeing the wiring path you used is really helpful.

Since the plug is at the rear of the pan raising the front of the truck by driving up on 2 ramps would give the best drainage. Please us a hand powered ratchet and socket to remove and install the drain plug. The oil pan is aluminum so never ever use a power ratchet on it, you can strip the threads. Never ever turn over or start an engine that has had the oil drained out. Damage and extreme wear can result.

Got one myself. 6.5 inch ground clearance helps a lot. Not a Range Rover of course but if you are considering buying one don’t worry about snow.

That there is the most francophone handle ever😀 Cap looks great like a cool SUV old school not egg shape like a CRV. I would have gone with the ARE mx for a couple inches headroom and had it lined. I’ve hit my head on the raw fibreglass before and it doesn’t tickle.

Is that shell strong enough for a tent camper?

I bought this exact light strip and did not install it because the light strip covers the jack handle hole along with another wire harness hole. I didn't want to get a flat tire and end up ruining the light strip with the square body jack handle. Any comments???

very complete. thank you. could you have crawled under the truck without jacking it up and change the oil? so you felt secure with one tire on ground and the other side jacked up I never had skid plate on my van or car so i crawled under. I don't have ramps and live in a condo and no where to store the ramps if i bought some, which i don't want to waste money.

The Maverick AWD FX4 is capable of a lot more than that. Unfortunately that's all the mud you could find. I'm pretty sure my Accord hybrid could have made it down and back on that road. No challenge for the AWD Maverick.

All the grunting and moaning noises make this video hard to watch.

would be good to know if the centre diff lock was on or off

Can you mount a roof rack to it? I'm really considering getting the A.R.E. version of this shell. I just need a roof rack for bikes and kayaks.
