i bought my first full sized palettes in a long while from glamlite, beauty bay and cosmic brushes. I haven't bought a full size palette in years. I've still hung on to some older huda and kvd palettes and i have smaller sephora collection travel sized palettes.
i was impressed by glamlite and cosmic brushes. I realize they are way more pigmented and a better quality than my older palettes. I'm trying to figure out which brand(s) and colour palettes i should add to my collection because i had a habit previously of buying fantasy palettes. things that others loved or looked really good but wasn't practical for my everyday.
leaning towards cosmic brushes, beauty bay, and/or another indie brand.
the colour palettes i bought are really bright and I think i'd like to replace my current neutrals and when it comes to pops of colour i'm leaning more to red, pinks, and purple and maybe some cool tone colours since i don't really have that in my collection. many brands like clindah (?) and ensley reign are super expensive so i'm looking for brands that can fit my needs...i might need more than one palette.

Still haven’t tried from glam lite so I am very curious about the formula! yes me too I haven’t bought super huge palettes recently just the colourpop and twilight collab.
Although indie brands have great formulas I agree they can get very expensive.
Tbh although they aren’t considered indie anymore and more mainstream I would still recommend Colourpop because of the price point and they have literally every type of palette you can want from small to large, warm to cool toned to rainbow. They are great for rebuilding or building an eyeshadow palette collection and it’s how I started my collection too. Also for cool tones I guess the Sigma cool neutrals is a good option to begin with because it’s not too cool and still has warm toned shades to get used to with. Nomad cosmetics ghost town USA palette is a good one too.
But I get you with the habit of buying fantasy palettes!I also used to buy palettes based on the collab or the packaging and hardly use them 😅

Definitely too dark for the current me too!
I think it’s the former teenage part of me but something about that palette still makes me want it lol
