I have a profound hatred for the volotional(i think its called that) form. i.e, the "can/am able to verb" form. It sounds SO SIMILAR to normal words. For example, ikimasu->ikemasu. It's so similar I can never tell which one is being used. And then it gets used AGAIN for the passive form! AKHAKSFAFBJSDGF
I'm 🇯🇵ese (55). I don't think foreigners have to use KEIGO (honorific usage) because it's very difficult for even 🇯🇵ese. you don't need to use that if you are foreigner. 🇯🇵ese are pleased if you speak 🇯🇵ese (we don't request foreigners to use KEIGO) if you try to learn KEIGO and KANJI (chinese character) you will less want to acquire 🇯🇵ese anymore cuz it's too complicated and difficult even for 🇯🇵ese you have to acquire 🇯🇵ese to discuss meaningful conversation with 🇯🇵ese subtle stuffs are not important for foreigner cuz you're not 🇯🇵ese
