The graphics are great for a game from 2006. It looks a lot better than that shitty Reservoir Dogs game.
It definitely was made by fans of the movie! Definitely above and beyond what people call it as a gta clone, it’s kinda better than most of the older gta games of that era!
The time has now come for this game to be remastered and I waiting that on playstation 5.
Will never happen. Got to many good old titles that never made it to Ps3 or Ps4 so why would it for Ps5? Series X will be backwards compatible though!!

Isa Sayar But yeah there is no way in hell this game is going to get a remaster. It was kind of a glitchy mess from what I remember. But it did have its charm and was an interesting idea to see what would happen if Tony did survive the attack at his mansion and plotting revenge against Sosa. Also keep in mind at one point this game was going to have a 360 version but it got canceled sadly.
Is a good idea.. but it's impossible. :(

This intro is a masterpiece itself. The hard metal song & the Sound effects are so synced with each other. When I first launched this game I remember closing it instantly and starting it again just to hear this kick ass song one more time.

Great game, and it had a HELL of a voice cast. While Al Pacino unfortunately didn't do the voice of Tony in the game, he gave his stamp of approval to his replacement and he sounds exactly like Al Pacino. But look at this list of notables we got for the rest of the voice cast: the guys from the movie who played Manny, Frank, Hector...... and the people they got just for the game like James Woods, Ice T, Cheech and Chong, Anthony Anderson, Jay Mohr, Ricky Gervais, Oliver Platt, Ahmed Best (he did the voice of Jar Jar Binks but don't hate, he did a great job for such a lousy character), Robert Davi, Tom Lister Jr. (RIP), Jason Mewes, Michael Rapaport, Michael Rooker, Richard Roundtree (OG Shaft), Pitbull, Tommy Lee, and Wilmer Valderrama. Pretty cool.
I thought the playable Enforcer guy looked like Penn from Penn & Teller as a kid lol

This is how you start a game.
I remember playing this for the first time, I was so skeptical, but when I heard Ministry's "Burning Inside" and I saw the cast list, I knew the game developers cared, and I was in for a helluva ride.
Everytime when I watch this some animal rises in me.. puts your adreline running.
Same with me ... it just pumps me with some sort of Rage

Great game. Just like GTA, only with more things to do with your cash. Building a criminal empire, buying assets which granted perks, cars, guns, mods for guns, like a criminal mastermind.
But this song gets my adrenaline pumping. Great game shame there isnt a remastered version.
@@Renegade4_life Yeah. They should totally remaster this game. Maybe some new parts to the map for after the main story, but the game was fine. And yes, great music from Ministry, Motorhead, Judas Priest, and general 80's vibe.

This is such a bad ass introduction to such a bad ass game, beat that rockstar. Rockstar could never. This game and Manhunt are slept on too much, people need to ask for more mafia movie games and manhunt games. If we get a newer scarface game and manhunt game, believe me, people would not be interested in gta anymore.
They really dropped the ball in 2006 by not making this game more well-known. This blows the GTAs from the same era out of the water in so many ways. It shits all over Vice Crap, rivals GTA SA, has features that would be welcome even in GTA IV or V.

Great intro. We can see the essence of this story in it - violent murders, blood, coke, corruption and a big money. Rough, brutal metal music fit's perfectly here. But it's also a spoiler, so better watch the movie first.

I actually got this game by sheer luck, I once caught a tv special about Scarface that was talking about how the film originally was not well received and what eventually led to this game being developed. I got the game but only beat it after making sure to see the movie. I don't know what was going back then, but Scarface is amazing and easily my favourite Al Pacino movie who is also coincidentally one of my favourite actors.
This game was underrated and better than GTA Vice City. A remaster would be nice but I would honestly settle for a port. Easily one of my favourite games on the PS2 and I always watched this intro, still gets me hype.

When I was 10 years old at GameStop, I wanted a game where you build your own criminal empire. I never watched but only heard of Scarface and Godfather, so when I saw those two cover together, I had no idea which ones are better. I only know that Godfather involves the word “Mafia”, which I like at the time, so I chose that. I regretted it.
Side note: Keep in mind that I was talking about the Godfather game from the PS2 version. The PS3 was much better, but not the PS2.
