Keep at it, Joe. You're off to a great start, and with time, it'll all come out right. With Gary as your friend and mentor, I can see some good times ahead.
Well said! He is a great friend and help. I am feeling like I need to collaborate with someone on the travel side now too though, my travel based videos don't do so well.
"That was me, jumping on the Bike..." 😅😅😅. Life has a way of making us laugh at ourselves from time to time. No worry. About your ankle, I hope you wrap it up before your next activity. Funny thing happened to me yesterday, I was in my colleague's office to get supplies, as I turned to leave, my left knee popped. Ouch! My colleague said, " You'll be alright, sometimes my ankle and my knee don't want to go together either!" We both just laughed. The view from your room looks spectacular indeed. I also enjoy the music, reminding me a bit of the soundtrack from COLD MOUNTAIN. Until next time, stay safe!
hahaha I felt like I was not doing my bit for climate change with that journey, felt like a right lemon! The videos are a touch behind, it took a LONG time but it has healed up now, my knee still gives me issues from time to time though. The view from the room was amazing, I couldnt get over how beautiful it was seeing another country across the mighty Mekong river. Music choices are difficult haha, it takes me as long as the edit sometimes hahaha.
Joe, I have never had pineapple that was sweet. I love it but always seems to get a not so enjoyable one. Love your vlogs as usual. Dehydration is a serious issue so make certain you stay hydrated 💥😍
what??? :O You need to change that ASAP. I am not sure where or how but you need to haha. I do try and drink enough and carry rehydration salts just in case.
The Golden Triangle is an awesome place, worth the visit when heading north. Glad to see you spent some time in Chiang Khong, It’s where my wife is from and love spending time there 🙂Enjoy Phu Chi Fa 🙂
Nang Lae or Nam Peung It is grown favorably in the northern part of Thailand, especially Nang Lae is considered as unique pineapple in Nang Lae district, Chiang Rai province. The more round shape, thinner skin, and sweeter taste. Due to the thinner skin, Nang Lae is not suitable to be transported. Eat and enjoy
It is nice, although not the best part of the province. I just found it really interesting for what it represents. Chiang Kong on the other hand is great.
@@hungrytoexplore I live not far from Chiang Khan (Khon Kaen really, for the last 5-years, but I go that way a lot) and that's how I found your video. Really great content and I'm very impressed.

Despite having some obstacles, you could still make a good video. Glad that you didn't quit and finally reached 5K subscribers. We are supporting you!
Thank you Vantida... obstacles are not put in front of us to make us fail but to see how we can adapt and react and make ourselves stronger.

Way to go Joe! this place is so serene. I love the countryside of Thailand.
Me too! I wish things were a bit more comfortable in Chiang Kong for me, but I did enjoy that peacefulness of the river and the view over to Laos

Very tasty, although she didn’t cut the core out which would have been better. Can’t beat fruit in Thailand though.
Really nice video. I haven't been up there and your video is super helpful and informative. Your drone shots are beautiful.
