But, the thing is, look at Monstercat's recently uploaded section, you don't see a lot of Tristam and Varien, or "creativity" for that matter. The IQ of this channel's audience is in rapid decline, and with it the quality of its uploads.
I'd say that's subjective. I totally agree with you that Varien is amazing, but I think the releases have been only getting better. That's all up to personal opinion, though.

Out of all the vocalists they could have chosen for this trilogy, Cassandra Kay is a great choice. Her voice is very soft and deep, so it fits the dark, melodic feel of this track. Varien is a genius while Cassandra is amazing. 12/10 Great track
This track is probably one of the most respectable songs on Monstercat. I honestly don't have words to describe the nature of it, no word I know of would do it justice. Varien's work on movie compositions is really paying off on the skills he picks up and Cassandra's vocals were just phenomenal. This isn't just a song, its a work of art.

To be honest, I think Hero and it's remixes are considered some of the worst Monstercat has to offer, and not just for the song, it's for the lyrics too. Canvas' lyrics can be considered some of the more interesting. I just dunno what to say to it's variety and how well it effects the chilling nu disco feel. Snowblind... It's a beauty that's for sure. If it weren't for the lyrics, the song would've been shit, not that the song was bad in general, but it just wouldn't be the same without it. I feel the opposite. I love the instrumentals but the vocals are just awful to me. I feel like the only reason they have any power behind them is because of the mixer and echo effect.
