*The Netflix part makes me giggle. My ex was "shocked" that I changed the password to my Netflix account (when I had it) & my Prime account, she legit thought after our relationship ended I would be okay with her having access to my accounts after we ended things. The stupidity of some people is mind blowing really.*

Just find a partner who you respect and who respects you. If division of assets is a major concern of yours, tell your partner early on that you want a prenuptial agreement. Also, don’t rush into marriage. Just cuz most people marry in their mid to late 20s doesn’t mean that’s right for everyone.

In some countries, there is this defacto marriage law graning your partner same right and obligations as if you were married if you live together for 6 months or even less. So, no. No women. Fuck tgem, fuck the govt. Depopulation, repopulation with islamic culture, making women slaves while it is their making. I am somehow starting to be fine with that. Very ugly war, but I am not losing that one.

@@RyanZacharko The only plausible reason I can think of is if the woman sacrifices her career (and earning potential) to raise a family, and I mean long term non working.
If they have only been married a few years, and they have no children, then what has the woman done to better herself? If nothing, sitting on her phone, nagging, then that's on her. She shouldn't get a penny of her husband's money.
But if the woman stopped working to raise children to adulthood, then she is entitled to something.

As a woman who went through a ... divorce (it wasn't a nice one), I don't get those women.
    Like, really, I don't.
I get it, some men want to screw you over, especially if someone else is involved, but so do some women.
But if you get a sensible divorce setting (And tbh, getting the house without any bills on it, and child support, ... depending on if she'd be eligible for spousal support because of inability to work or small children and no childcare available, that'd be okay then too), and piss it all away because you want MORE?
You deserve the karma that's coming for you.

Women being able to claim mens future earnings, inheritance, spausal support, ect is so bs.

    • @Jerseybytes2
      @Jerseybytes2 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

that's why they can't claim inheritance, and here's why not. let's say your parents or grandparents left you 10 million dollars. you gained the ability to inherit this by birth. that precedes marriage, and had you married someone else you'd still have inherited the same. so whether your spouse exists or not, that's irrelevant. The only thing you need to remember is, not to mingle it with other marital assets. Because then things get tricky and muddy. so if it's money, let it be in an account where only you have access to it, and if it's a house or ,,,, keep it in your name only.
Re spouse support, in a lot of cases women don't get it. and now I read that Florida is putting a time table where all spousal support ends after ,,,, years (sorry, I don't recall all the details), so other states may follow this soon.
Btw, greed doesn't have gender. My ex wanted half of everything my mother owned. he didn't get any but my lawyer had a good laugh and commented he wasn't aware my ex had been married to my mother.

The state takes a piece of every child support payment and every alimony payment. It's working flawlessly and as intended 👍 guy, don't marry.

    • @heyitsally7995

If you don’t get a prenuptial, your assets become both of your assets. His/her assets become both of your assets. Dividing shared assets is very complicated as both parties view the items as theirs. So courts need to dictate who gets what. Also, no idea where you’re getting ‘gender preferences’ from. He paid alimony because of a higher income, not because he has a pair of testes between his legs.

@lucgermain9310 Depends on the country, where I live (USA) it's not split as long as you don't put it in a Joint account, put the spouses name on it, or in some other States do certain things with it that will get it ruled as a Joint asset. In the USA any inheritance received after divorce is Not split with an ex unless it was known and pending during the divorce, although apparently (according to the web) it can happen in the UK?

    The wording here:
".... She was entitled to a fair share of alimony..."
    Is incorrect, I would say:
"... According to the state she is incorrectly assumed to be entitled to an unfair share of alimony."
Most alimony cases are such bullcr@p. Child-Support is one thing, (of course you need to help care for your kids) but most of the time the alimony is bull.
On a side note regarding the children: I'm glad to see that lately, more fathers have been getting primary custody and mothers paying the child support.
