Once I saw that thumbnail I got all sorts of flashbacks. To appropriate a quote from Hunter S. Thompson, Newgrounds in the early 2000's was a very special time and place to be a part of; there was madness in any direction, you could strike sparks anywhere. It really was a place of infinite wonder and depravity, there were practically no rules and no sense of quality control, outside of whether or not a game/animation got a low enough rating to get "blammed". Anything and everything was possible. I doubt we'll ever truly see anything like it again.

I played the Harry Potter games, but there are only three that I remember: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (PC): A decent game. Actually interesting and quite expansive. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Game Boy Color): a surprisingly enjoyable turn-based RPG. Quidditch World Cup (PS2): Scoring with Quaffle is far too easy (never got anything less than 300 points), getting the snitch is just pointless.
Yeah, Chamber of Secrets for the sixth-gen consoles was pretty darn good (although for some reason the Gamecube version had a very stripped-down Hogwarts grounds, which was a horrible disappointment seeing as I owned that one), and they later remade Philosopher's Stone on the same engine to great success. Just pretty enjoyable Zelda-esque games, though more restrictive than Zelda from a gameplay perspective and quite short too. I think what especially made them good overall was that they got the whole early HP aesthetic (before the movies got grimdark and the games would copy that) and atmosphere down really, really well, and they played solidly enough to at least not pull you out of that experience. It really felt like a representation of the books. Prisoner of Azkaban improved some things _(yay team mechanic! :D)_ and dropped the ball on a few others _(please, just shut up about bedtime for five minutes! D:)_, and Goblet of Fire took an entirely different approach to its gameplay, sucked balls and then I pretty much had lost interest. Though I've heard Order of the Phoenix was a return to form, but I still have to play that one, as well as the Lego games that are supposed to be pretty sweet. Those Gears of War Deathly Hallows games can stay in whatever dark hole they crawled from though! Eww. I also remember putting tons of hours into the first two PC games before I first got to the console versions (though I did play the PS1 Philosopher's Stone at that time, it was... pretty bad), and they were totally different products running on a modified Quake 3 engine, definitely not bad but in hindsight very simplistic with the whole auto-spell thing, and something about them just felt a bit clunky and slapped together. You could also literally beat them in a few hours. Still, to me they were very compelling back then, but the PSBoxCube versions do blow them out of the water. Oh, and the two Game Boy Color games were surprisingly fun little RPGs, if lacking in depth.
Some of the best movie games. I actually got stuck on both chamber and prisoner but played it a couple years later and have now beat the game two or three times. Unfortunately I gave prisoner away and im kicking myself because even though I was stuck now that I'm older I'm sure I wouldve figured it out like I did with Chamber. Plus there are plenty of walkthroughs online nowadays
