Your videos bring back SUCH memories from my TMB Trek, back in 2012. :) At approx 11:00 (not visible), at lower right, there are Striations, grooves carved on the rock, from when the Glaciers covered nearly the ENTIRE mountain range (and carved out those lakes) ! But it is ALSO so SAD, seeing how much the glaciers across the valley - esp Mer de Glace - have Receded, in just 11 years ! On Day 11 of our TMB Trek, after staying (a STORMY) overnight at Refuge Lac Blanc, my TMB Brothers and I hiked from Lac Blanc to Flegere - on our first day of CONTINUOUS Rain ..... and then finally said "**** It !", and HIKED down to/through Chamonix, to finish our Trek. Thanks for your videos.
We went up the index today(early June 2023) and it’s completely covered in snow so we weren’t prepared to go through that. Ended up hiking up to Le Blanc from the first train car up instead of hiking down from the index. Keep that in mind if you’re planning to do this hike! When it’s snowy it ain’t easy
Guys I’m lost for words on how stunningly beautiful 🤩 those views over the Mt Blanc massif where 🏔️🏔️🏔️🤩 But Your Vlog and hike just added to the experience (fabulous) Earned a sub 👍🤠🏔️ Best regards Simon 🤠👍🏔️
Loved the videos of Lake Annecy and Chamonix guys. Thanks for sharing. We’re heading to both places in our motorhome next month so your videos have been a great help to us. Safe travels.
Thanks for the great videos from Charmonix. In 2 weeks we will go to the same location. Your videos make me more and more excited. I am an amateur droner and like to make videos with my drone. Can you tell me if and where I can drone there? Thanks in advance
So glad to have come across your channel! Heading over to Chamonix next week and are looking forward to doing this hike. Watching the rest of your videos from there now - thank you for sharing your experience!!
Thank you for sharing info and the experience. We are planning for this hike in June this year. Do you recommend renting trekking poles in chamonix or bring your own ? We are traveling from US
There are lots of places to rent hiking gear in town, so you can do that. If you already have some trekking poles that can fold down and pack in a checked bag, I would do that!
When did you do this hike, I am planning to go there end of June, just worried if the lake would melt at that time. Last time, I did the hiking in charmonix was in mid of June, there is a lot of snow up in the mountains
I hiked 2024 at 1. August. Ice free since 2-3 weeks. I went an other path from Index not over the the scree slope but further up. We walked steadily and it took 2 hours. One of us knew this path.
Hello! The description of the video is misleading. This is NOT the Lac blanc in the Vosges (Orbey). This is the one in the Alps (Charmonix) :) The Vosges are a completely different mountain range north of the Alps.
I walked from my digs in La Frasse to Argentiere. Then hike up to Lac Blanc where I wild-camped. Next day I walked the whole way down into Cham. At the time I was 53. She needs to stop with the drama-queen stuff.
Perfectly explained and absolutely incredible guidance

Enjoy! We love Chamonix!
Thank you for this video - really motivated us to add this hike to our itinerary. Are these chairlifts included in the Mont Blanc multipass?
Yes it is!
Nice video
You did some great hikes in chamonix! If you were there for only one day (like I will be), which one would you recommend?
Thank you! We'd recommend Plan d'Aguille!
Do you mean the Nord balcon hike to mer de glac?
So awesome! Was this part of the TMB? Love ur videos! Can’t wait for the next one!
Thanks! Yes I believe it is part of the TMB
Hi.. are the gondolas/ski lift all the way to L’index included in the mont blanc multi day pass?

This was in September. You may risk a little snow end of June as well.

Thank you for bringing that to our attention! Our assistant must have googled the wrong Lac Blanc. ;) It’s been corrected.
@@andresgarcia-qc3ww muchas gracias 🤗
It was 22 Euro roundtrip.
Hello, good day! Do you need a drone flying license to fly in the Lac Blanc? Thanks
we did not have one. Rules change all the time, so best to do your own research
I walked the entire day
How long did that take please
I walked from my digs in La Frasse to Argentiere. Then hike up to Lac Blanc where I wild-camped. Next day I walked the whole way down into Cham. At the time I was 53. She needs to stop with the drama-queen stuff.
Congratulations.
IM 12 and i haave done it
