No 4K on the selfie camera at this price and the fact its a camera phone makes this unacceptable. Id rather wait for the xiaomi 14 ultra (pro and norm had 4K front facing)

My current phone is an X80 Pro. Before I had a Huawei P30Pro. The P30 Pro was the best mobile phone I've had, the system was very well balanced, excellent pictures, impeccable technical support, what's more, the perfect phone. Unfortunately, Vivo lacks all of the above. The catastrophic operating system, with the new Update to FunTouch 14, seems to be doing better. Yes the phone Hardware is a beast, but the software leaves much to be desired. IPhone phones, hardware maybe is a Middle Range compared to the top Android phones, but the clean operating system makes the difference. I think several times if I will buy Vivo again.
I use a Vivo X70 Pro+ to film TH-cam vids and LOVE it! But now 3 years on looking to upgrade. Any word if there'll be a Vivo X100 Pro PLUS? (with snap 8 gen 3 hopefully) Or, will they skip a + series like they did with x80's?

the dimensity chip is actually better than the sd gen 3, have a look at the soc review by Geekerwan, its a bit too technical but in efficiency and performance 9300 won over the 8g3
Since this new x100 sports a USB 3.2, does it also support Video out for Desktop Mode i.e. similar to Samsung Dex? None of the TH-camr bother to mention this.
Great phone, a nice step up over the X90 Pro+ and it's not too expensive either (can import it for less than $800 now). However, I'd recommend waiting for the Oppo Find X7 Pro, Honor Magic 6 Pro or Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra which are all being released by the end of January 2024 if you prefer Snapdragon and even better zoom.

S24 Ultra is also getting an updated 10x optical zoom lens which is supposed to be even better than the S23 Ultra's one.

Basically all the photos had strong over sharpening at night, videos too..... I like the telephoto camera, Vivo got very creative here... Just look at that 10x digital zoom, very good quality... And the close-up portraits, the excellent macros ..👌
I think this is what an actual flagship killer looks like (under $1000 if you look around) Does pretty well in everything without costing $1300-$1500 The camera being great is just the cherry on top
You could always buy a DSLR Camera to take better pics than any smartphones today so I think the phone people just got to realize their limitations they will never be as good as dslr cameras even those from 20 years ago I think I’ll just buy a camera if that is what I want

The S24 Ultra won't be able to surpass this. Taking photos in daylight, the S24 ultra will produce decent looking photos, but when we're taking about variable zoom modes and night mode, this phone will destroy it. Chinese phones have better camera tech than Samsung phones and this has been the case for several years now.

The Dimensity 9300 processor already offered great gaming performance, so an even faster GPU on the dimensity 9300+ SoC has me excited for the future of mobile gaming.
Currently using Vivo X80 Pro. The Night photography is excellent, the details are better than S23 and over all its a great phone. Not a fan of curved screen but had to compromise for the quality of night shots. The shining glass frame around the camera takes smudges easily and cast flares when photos are taken standing close to lighting objects. And the videos shot in cinematic mode misses the separation from the background of humans or moving objects most of the time. And in bright sunlight video quality seems to be bad or over sharpened. Never fixed these after all these updates in the last 1.4 yrs of usage. Are these fixed in the new X100 pro? Or Probably will wait for X100 Pro+, if it's coming and hoping that it will have front camera 4k video and a larger and higher area of 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor like in X80 Pro.
It is great in the UK in 2024 with the Pixel 8 Pro, S24U and iPhone 15PM all being flat displays. I ignore all curved display phones now. They are a pain.

I think I wanna switch to Vivo again. I used to have Vivo phones, and I used it for a long time without any issue in the screen until I dropped it while driving. With my Samsung S series, I'm only been using it for more than 2 years, and I already got a vertical line on the screen after software update. It's so annoying.

With the Zeiss advanced lens and camera setup, the X100 pro seems to be an incredible one in the masterful photography and also drives the performance to the next level with the integrated mediatek chipset that is quite potential.
I am using Vivo X100 Pro and facing an issue with the camera fogging up frequently. Initially, there were no problems for two to three months, but the issue started occurring after one to three weeks. The service center says it is a common problem and that all cameras with ZEISS brand lenses experience this. They mention that it can be temporarily fixed by unlocking it, but this may cause issues with its IP rating. Additionally, they mention there is no guarantee that the problem won't recur. You know how to fix this issue?

Funtouch really suck compared to OriginOS. Currently owned a vivo with Origin and it feels miles better with a TONNE of features and customizations.
I'm floored by the image quality of the camera both photos and videos.

The 9300 processor seems much faster than the Snapdragon Gen3 in benchmarks they did.

Not the US, and unlikely the EU, low chance the UK. Asian countries are the only ones that I have seen that will get this "global" release.

Just took off sim tray, leave it in sun and the problem gone.
