That second game has such an amazing story line. The kid got murdered by his father so he met a spiritual guide or “Ron” to help him get closure because he was murdered in his sleep. The kid woke up believing he was still alive, also never got justice. The son found his way through frequency to find his dad and get evidence to put him at peace. I had no idea where the game was going but it all came together. So beautiful but sad
Since none of y'all answering Dashie's damn questions: what happened in the first game was a mentally ill man had previously owned Margaret's apartment, when Margaret went on her trip he squatted there. When the player character discovers him they get into a fight, Margaret comes home to the fight and the old man k-words them both. Not sure why the bank storyline was necessary tho.

It was kinda hard to follow but one of those games that once you get that one clue about what the story is about you look at all the events you played through differently and for an indie game to do this with a pretty dark subject like homicide, drinking and abuse they did pretty good.
Bad parenting was a masterful game. First of some really good artwork, this thing looked like Courage the cowardly dog! Then it took a hard turn and it wasn’t afraid to shown the reality many kids face. Dashie’s face really showed understanding

I think the patient from the hospital was in delusion that the lady's apartment still belonged to her and was clearly not in her right mind because was a patient that escaped the mental hospital, and went back to her "home" only to find the player and the lady who currently resided there. Because she believed that it was her house, she likely attacked and killed both of them because they were "trespassing". That's what I got from the first game lol.
