The return of Jamie! I'd been loving my Deluxe for about a year. Choc chips and nuts becomes a hazard to my tooth but I still love those mix ins😂😂
Hahaha thanks for the ongoing support!!! Gotta take care of your teeth 🦷 !! 😂😂. Marc
I love my Creami Deluxe! Found that using small chocolate chips worked out much better than the regular size. Made Italian Ice using real lemons. Came out tart but really smooth. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching and the comment. Marc
Well, I'm completely sold on this product, most definitely. Thank you for demoing this, now it's clear as day that I should get it. 😁
Thanks so much for watching! - J
Another superb video. You are my go to reviewers.
This is perfect timing for me. I was all set to buy a Breeze because I much prefer the design but they have been discontinued due to serious problems like catching fire.
But! The most startling fact for me is that heavy cream is kinder for lactose intolerance. I’ve been making ice cream with milk for years because I thought cream would be asking for trouble but I’m going to try cream next time. Thank you!🎉
Thanks so much for the kind comments! And that's very interesting about the Breeze, I will look into that! - J
Adorable kid, nice going dad.
Thank you so much. Marc
Hi guys, Mark with a K here from the UK. Does everything you put in this just taste the same after it’s been blitzed or does it alter the taste at all? Cheers as always.
Honestly, it’s amazing. My kids have probably tried 15 different mix ins. They love it. Marc
"italian ice" in italian "sorbetto al limone" and it's drinkable and sometime alchoolic ^_^ usually served in summertime and after fish dinner or between fish and meat meal ...not for everybody for sure but in Italy most liked ;-) thanks for this video....ciao ;-)
Thanks so much for the comment! - J
HSN has a deal today on the newer Deluxe model, $199.99, but before you buy, create an account and they’ll email you a 15% off coupon. Brought the price down to $169.99 including 2 extra pints, 4 total.
Also, I think the extra step of placing the pint in the outer canister on the deluxe vs none on the breeze may be to contain spills in case a bit too much liquid was added to a recipe. I assume it also helps keep whatever you’re making colder vs the breeze’s pint being directly exposed to room temperature as it churns. 🤷🏽♀️
Awesome! I would agree with the point about spills, except the outer container has holes in the bottom lol. Thanks for watching! - J
@@TheAverageKitchen ah, I wouldn’t know, haven’t received mine yet. I enjoyed watching!
Keep us posted !! Marc
I didn't know this product exists until I saw it at Costco yesterday. I'm lactose intolerant, but I buy ice cream anyway, even though its too expensive. This would solve both problems, i'll probably get it it.
The link to buy is in the description! Thanks for watching. - J
I’m also lactose intolerant. Let us know how you like it ! Marc
Great show! Just not for me, which probably means I'll end up with one at some point! 😂
Haha thanks for watching! - J
does the icecream retain its texture if you process it and then pop it back into the freezer for future use?
Absolutely. I’ve been very impressed! Marc
You might want to change your cleaning rating after a month or 2 of using it. Ice cream particles get stuck under the lid and starts to stink. You have to take the gasket out and with small brushes scrub it
Thanks for the tip! - J
I wonder if you microwave the chocolate chips for a few seconds they wouldn't go as hard?
I think they just get frozen with the ice cream. Not sure if that would help or not. - J
im looking to buy this, but my issue is can you use the smaller pit containers or do you have to use the deluxe containers
I believe you have to use the deluxe containers. Although it should say on the site. - J
is it possible to make the portion of the icecream less cause thats a big portion
@@TheAverageKitchen
@@HassanAlkhawaja-vo7ez I think there is a button for a not full container (in case you only eat half and want to save the rest and need to respin it). I'm glad you asked that, because I was thinking the same thing, that I don't always want that much around, and you helped me realize that duh, I can just make a half recipe!
Seems like a lot of work - I think I'll just stick to getting my ice cream at the market. Thanks for the run down tho.
There's definitely some effort involved. Thanks for watching! - J
If you dont eat all the ice cream can you refreeze it
100%
The Italian ice cream is completely different ! It is the really smooth hairy and soft ice cream that you should try.
Just what I want in ice cream: hairy! Lol thanks for watching! - J
Just what I want in ice cream: hairy! Lol thanks for watching! - J
@@TheAverageKitchenahaha 😂😂😂 you don’t like it hairy ? 😂😂😂 anyway .. try it 👍
@@TheAverageKitchenbtw I placed an order for the deluxe … and probably what they call Italian Ice is what we call Granita .. that is ice crashed ice with flavors .. the Gelato is the Italian ice cream 👍
Hahahaha. I’ve been to Italy 3 times, took my boys last July and introduced them to Gelato, needless to say they loved it. Cheers. ciao ! Marc
Wyats the height of the tub you put in the freezer please?
The height of the container is about 6 inches I'd say? - J
Thank you for quick reply @@TheAverageKitchen
🤙
The slushie needed more liquid you didn’t fill to line that may have been why not drinkable texture
I believe I followed the directions, but who knows. Thanks for watching! - J
@@TheAverageKitchen my bad I zoomed in and correct amount from a distance it looked like you were just under the line 😊
👍
It looks delicious but Italian gelato is something totally different.
We just followed ninjas directions. Marc
@@TheAverageKitchen I know and I didn't criticise you. Just stated that this isn't what the manual said it was. You won't find anything like this "Italian ice cream" anywhere in Italy. As I said, it looks good and I'd try it but knowing what's in there and seeing the consistency, it's not what we have here in Europe. Try mixing lemon curd with heavy whipped cream (you can even use mascarpone), freeze and blend as Ninja recommends - it's not the correct Italian recipe either but it looks and tastes a lot more like gelato. 🍧🙋🏻♀Lisa
How tall did you say it was?
I don't remember off-hand. Give.it a watch again! - J
@@TheAverageKitchen I think you said just over 6 inches, but I think that’s nit quite right 😊
Yes, you mis-spoke when giving the height. I was hoping you would correct that too.
I mean you could spend another 2mins to see if the Italian ice gets creamier
It might get smoother, but I don't think it would get creamier. Maybe that's the same? Who knows lol. I wouldn't call it authentic Italian ice anyway. Thanks for watching! - J
Advantage Kitchen, Your measurement were wrong for this product. It is 16.50" H, x 6.50 W x 12" L. When making Italian Ice, it should have a consistency similar to a Sorbet texture. So therefore, you should have "Re-Spin a 3rd time, likewise the same with the creamiccino. There is no rule that you must do it only twice. Italian Ices, you would have to experience that by taking a visit to Brooklyn, find a Pastry shop, that most likely have Italian Ices made fresh, and they come in assorted flavor, Lemon, Chocolate, Cherry, Cream, Pistachio, and also visit Little Italy in Manhattan, or even in Chicago. In Italy, it goes under Sorbet not Italian Ices. Ciao.
Thanks for the insight and watching. Marc
All this seems tedious
Thanks for watching. Marc
Dairy frozen products are far more better than any vegetable substitute as water crystals forming in dairy are smaller than in alternatives, for dairy free products use a little bit of gelatine to reduce the size of frozen water crystals.
Thanks for the tip! - J
I don't understand all the hype about the creami. You still freeze it 24 hours. There's tons of delicious creamy no churn ice cream recipe videos. After 24 hours, just scoop it out & serve. Not necessary to spend over $300.
You're right about the fact that most of the work is done prior to the machine being involved. Thanks for watching! - J
@@TheAverageKitchen I enjoy your videos. You helped me decide to buy the Ninja Speedi. I LOVE it! THANK YOU!!💕
What was the sound like was it very loud
It's fairly loud, yes. Thanks for watching! - J
No need? Go try freezing some whole milk with coffee and sugar in it and scoop it. Tell me how that goes. Haha fcking rtard
