No he didn’t. He sang Dennis parts. Leonard Julien III sang David’s parts. To me, Louis should’ve sang David’s parts though his voice is much smoother. Julien’s voice is gruff and rougher closer to Dennis’s voice imo but it is what it is. 🤷🏽♂️
Louis Price is the truth the only other person who could sing this song @this level I'd say would be George Huff that's it. David Ruffin would be proud to hear this rendition for sure👍😁😎😉👌
@@weotalks2810story was when they were planning on moving back to Motown in late 1979, Louis decided it wasn’t for him to continue with the group. The group and the producers of the two albums he did kept trying to tell him to sing like Dennis every chance they had and he wasn’t having fun anymore on top of the lack of success at that point so he told Otis he’s leaving. A few weeks later, when they had a meeting with Motown, an exec told them Dennis wasn’t having success as a solo artist and felt it was a good time for him to come back since Louis announced he was leaving so they met and they agreed to take him back. Within a week they started recording the “Power” song.
