While I’m not super happy with a 32% three point percentage, I am happy that Self looks to be putting together a very athletic team. The athleticism of Storr, Bidunga, and KJ Adams is extremely high it would seem. Here’s a question: would it be better for KU to have Harris coming off the bench rather than starting as was the case in the 2nd half of the 2022 National Championship game. I love Harris, but I think we need a better scorer at the point. And in this day and age, college basketball has to be run as if it were the NBA where ability trumps loyalty to a player. It’s a business now.
Mannnnnn. Love Harris but damn I agree with this. Gotta get the ballers the ball to compete in March. I feel the same about KJ coming off the bench. What you think ?
Harris just offers a bit more offensively that KJ does imo. Love em both but something gotta give next year.
Offense seems to fall apart when Harris is off the floor and the defense most definitely falls apart... I want DeJuan playing 35 minutes per game, minimum. With wings that can drive/shoot better than last year, his lack of offensive impact will be minimized.

Storr is aggressive and attacks. I like his play. We needed some one to attack the rim and take contact.

It wouldn’t hurt my feelings if Elmarko Jackson transferred. He was a freaking TO machine. I hope he has a monster season and proves me horribly wrong. We need him to have a crazy Jalen Wilson type comeback season.
Elmarko was a freshman that got overhyped because he was the best recruit last year though a 20 something vs the normal top 10. He should have been a good reserve subbing in a few minutes at a time and would have been fine in that capacity.
Next year, he will get to relax a bit and sub in behind Harris and Zeke, and after an offseason to develop. He’s still relatively new to BB.
Statistically, we were outplayed in the league in many games from the guard position. That’s just a fact.

@@apacheking9776 Yeah she committed after Illinois countered his offer of 1 mil to 700k max but it wasn’t enough. Great add for KU should be preseason 1 or 2 with UCONN
